The room is big enough for wheelchair user. The spa is good with out door as well as in door baths.  The service is good . The male staff is very helpful to assist my relatives  to go down the spa.

Huge hotel. Very very crowded and busy due to local long weekend holiday and groups. Super slow elevators. Good choice of food at the buffets but there is no change if you eat for more than 1 day.

I planned and searched two days before and booked this place because it was the only room left. It was a plan with no meals. It was Golden Week and all-inclusive, so it took a long time to check in because there was a long line. The staff handed out hotel information sheets, so I was able to read them while waiting in line, which was good. After checking in, I had drinks and snacks in the lounge. I ate some taco chips, but the texture was old and damp, which was disappointing. There were three children and two adults in my family, but there were many families around, so I was glad that I could spend my time without worrying. The meals were buffet-style both in the evening and in the morning, and I thought about signing up for breakfast, but the price was a little high, so I ate outside. There were a few restaurants within a short drive, so I was glad that I was able to keep the hotel price down on this whirlwind trip.

I stayed here in February 2025 for a pilgrimage to Ise Shrine. The red bridge and the landscape can be seen beautifully from the elevator hall on the upper floors of the hotel, making it a great location. Even though the hotel was renovated, it still had the same lively feel. The lounge is open all day and doesn't close at certain times, which is nice. The hot spring had a lot of water and was very comfortable. Perhaps it was for busy times, but the old-looking tables in front of the restaurant felt different. As for dinner and breakfast, the number of dishes was smaller than other Mercure hotels, perhaps due to the size of the restaurant, and some of the things I was looking forward to were missing, which was disappointing. The Matsusaka beef stew for dinner was disappointing, as I wanted to ask when the croissant was baked in the morning, but I gave up after one bite. It seems that there are many tourist buses, so I felt that the bath depends on the timing. The hotel is in a tourist area, so it's more of a one-time experience than a repeat visitor.

There were so many people that I didn't take the elevator for almost three days. Every time I took the elevator, it was crowded and the elevator came very slowly. Even on the last day, I was sick and had to climb the stairs. It was a bad feeling. Although the buffet food was barely okay, there were so many people that sometimes the food was gone when it was my turn.

The front desk's customer service was not so good. Maybe they were still new! I wish they would practice a bit more. I had a child with me, so if there were no children's clothes in the room, I wish they would have told me when I checked in. Then I wouldn't have to go and get them every time. If they could just fix that, I think they could provide better customer service.  Please do your best.

As expected, it was newly renovated, clean, spacious, and stylish. The large public bath was also clean, and the service was good everywhere. The problem with the facility is that there are not many elevators compared to the number of rooms. When checking in or eating, no matter how long I waited, I couldn't get on the elevator. I wish there were stairs. Also, I chose the ocean view, but it wasn't like the hotel was on the coast, but rather the ocean was a little far away. I think mountain view is fine. Also, I wish they would increase the number of employees a little more. The service is not keeping up. If you are planning to stay in the near future, I recommend that you eat at a pub a little further away near the station instead of the buffet on weekends and other days when it is likely to be crowded. The dinner was amazing! The lounge, which is open to all guests, offers free drinks from draft beer, which is a great service for alcohol lovers. It is also close to Spain Village, so I think it is the best hotel for those who are going to Spain Village.

About 25 years ago, four of us stayed here when it was called the Ise-Shima Royal Hotel. The location from our room hasn't changed, but perhaps due to the times, the first floor has completely changed and it no longer has the image of a luxurious hotel as it once did.

My son and I had to cancel due to catching a cold, and when I contacted them the phone service was not very good, but my husband and daughter who stayed at the hotel said it was very clean and very nice. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity.
