The room was very spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were brand new. Breakfast hours were long with a rich variety of options, showing excellent attention to detail. The bedding was of high quality. The staff were very professional and promptly assisted with any issues. The location is superb; it's a pleasant 15-minute walk to the Ferris wheel and the seaside for a stroll, and the BinHai Centre (for concerts) is also within walking distance. Plus, there's a large shopping complex conveniently located right next door.

The room was bright and clean, offering superb value for money. The location is also quite good; you can get anywhere easily by public transport. There's an abundance of food options right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. I highly recommend a nearby dessert shop called Tang Xu – their desserts are absolutely delicious! 👍

Specifically, I would like to commend Oscar from the front desk for his outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable guest experience. Upon check-in, Oscar greeted me with warmth and efficiency, setting a positive tone for my stay. During check-out, he took the time to kindly ask about my experience and listened attentively to my feedback. When I mentioned a minor issue, he promptly addressed it with great care and resolution. Additionally, his thoughtful gesture of presenting a teddy bear as a gift truly touched me and significantly enhanced my overall impression of the hotel. While my stay was mostly pleasant, there were two minor incidents that could have impacted my experience. First, there was a misunderstanding with the concierge team regarding courier delivery services. Fortunately, the butler quickly stepped in, understood my needs, and made an exception to assist me. She also patiently explained the reasons behind the policy, doing so in such a polite and comforting manner that I truly appreciated. Secondly, there were no universal sockets compatible with UK plugs, my laptop ran out of battery but I had to reply an email via that laptop. I contacted the butler for a converter, after over 10 minutes, one was provided but no way to plug to the wall socket. I called the butler again, then it took nearly an hour for the housekeeping team to find a suitable power strip. I acknowledge that, as a guest, I should have been better prepared, and I understand that such situations can sometimes be beyond the hotel’s immediate control. Or maybe my expectation to the butler team is far over. Despite these small setbacks, Oscar’s efforts during check-out completely eased my frustrations and left a lasting positive impression. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable, and I believe he is a valuable asset to your team. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate channels and that Oscar receives the recognition he deserves. This is an excellent five-star hotel, offering fantastic value for money. The ambiance is superb, it's spotlessly clean, and provides a quiet retreat despite its central location. The bedding is extremely comfortable, and the breakfast spread is incredibly generous. The large, floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning views. Plus, on the 14th floor, there are self-service laundry facilities, a gym, and a game room.

Best location, convenience, close to Metro Fanshen station, has a local vibe. The hotel is clean, the bed is great, the shower has hot and strong water flows. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked a room for two nights. The room we were initially assigned for the first night was quite problematic. Barely three minutes after we checked in, a staff member knocked on our door to inform us the bathtub was leaking and needed maintenance. I suggested we simply be moved to a different room, but this request was denied. We were told someone would come to fix it shortly, but no one showed up all afternoon or evening. Later that night, while getting ready, we discovered the ceiling above the right-hand vanity was also leaking. This was an extremely unpleasant experience. The next day, I called the front desk and insisted on a room change. They relocated us to the room next door, which thankfully had no issues. As a gesture of apology, they sent up a large fruit platter. Beyond these incidents, everything else was just okay, fairly standard.

Not worth 5 star. Hotel not worth money we paid. … lot of amenities missing in room. Very bad pool used as school for teaching swimming. Can not even relax from noise of teacher and kids who was swimming missing chairs around pool and sun bed. Breakfast 120 rmb not worth even 20 rmb was nothing to eat only Chinese food Reception desk small and staff not talk English bathroom. Very small can not even be 2 people inside and most funny 5 star hotel asking to pay for phone charger lol

If you're visiting Shenzhen and love spending time around OH BAY, this hotel is an absolute must-stay – don't even think twice! It's impeccably clean, and the staff's service attitude is outstanding – they're incredibly helpful and accommodating! Think of it as the youthful, trendy version of an Atour or Orange Hotel, offering superb value for money. The mattress is super comfortable, and there are tons of great food options right downstairs, including Luckin Coffee and KFC!!!

The hotel's decor is very new, likely just one or two years old. The overall aesthetic leans artistic, and I really enjoyed the ambiance created by the lighting. It doesn't exude an obvious, 'no-explanation-needed' opulence, but its sophisticated and unique atmosphere is definitely appealing. Now, onto the room. During my stay, I didn't notice any unpleasant odors. The provided bathing facilities were quite satisfactory. A special shout-out to the hairdryer – it was excellent! I'm not sure of the brand, but its performance was comparable to high-end models like Dyson. The toilet was a smart one, and its remote control displayed a wide range of functions, but I didn't take the time to explore them, so I won't comment much on it. In the shower, the standard trio of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. The bar soap seemed to be part of the general toiletries, and I didn't get around to using it. The showering experience itself was pretty standard – perfectly adequate, neither outstanding nor poor. In-room amenities included tissues, an electric kettle, cups, and some instant beverages. Jing Tian bottled water was also provided, naturally. Both windowless and windowed rooms are available. As I'm someone who rarely opens curtains, it made no difference to me personally. I'd advise booking based on your own preference. To sum up, my overall experience was quite satisfying. While I can't definitively say that the issues highlighted in some negative reviews don't exist, I personally didn't encounter any during my stay. Hotel experiences can be highly variable, and individual expectations and tolerances differ, so I'd still recommend it.

Hotel design is decent, room is clean and amenities are well prepared. A free cup of coffee at the lounge is perfect for checking out. Front Desk staff Cassie was nice and helpful.
