Hotels in Yantian (Dameisha & Xiaomeisha), Shenzhen

The location of Dameisha Pattaya Hotel could not be beaten - simply because it is directly across the road from DMS Outlet shopping centre (open until 10pm). The Nike outlet store was a favourite - we bought too may items to take home with us! Whilst we didn't visit Dameisha Beach (it was raining) we did travel to Xiaomeisha (a 8 minute DiDi ride away) which was very convenient for us (to Xiaomeisha Sea World). There are many reviews that say the breakfast isn't a true Western breakfast, and they'd be right - with the exception that there is now a very basic coffee machine. However, with Starbucks across the road, opening at 6:45am, we made the most of this, and ordered coffee each morning.

The hotel is clean and large and spaciousAlthough located on the mountain, but also restaurants and drinks can be provided ~ Highlights unbeatable sea view plus back in the mountain view of the outdoor large bathtub. There is also the indoor bathtub, the furniture is very new, the waiters are very friendly, and quickly met our needs ~ high value for money ~ 

It was such a pleasant stay at Miyue Tianlu. We picked room201 which gives you access to an outdoor bathtub, tanning area with amazing sea and forest view. You also get to see the cable cars going up and down the mountains. Our butler Ah Wai also tended to all our requests and went above and beyond to make sure our birthday celebrations was perfect. The room also had projector which provided free entertainment. We would 100% come back to visit and big shoutout to Ah Wai for making our stay unforgettable!

Hotel is nice with a good pool for the dameisha area but very overpriced. The price of the hotel is like a 5 star international brand but it doesn’t deliver like it is 5 start. The management and its owners need to really re consider their pricing and their training of staff. Pros - hotel is new, nicely renovated, and they have hired a lot of staff who are putting in effort. Their towels are very fluffy and nice. Robe is soft, absorbent and high quality. the breakfast has some selection but the cooked items could be improved so it’s less dry but it is acceptable and not bad with a good coffee machine and some western cereal (ran out of cold milk but staff found some ) . Pool is large, clean and beautiful, (not deep) and not very chlorinated, the bar has drinks (but no food). Photography package is a good idea, but photographers needs more experience. Bathtub is pretty, has salts and loofah sponge. TV has a Chinese Netflix and western movies (but you have to know Chinese to read the selections) and it has a music selection too. Toiletries included with a good the if travel size Colgate. Fridge had one sprite one coke two Thai brand sparkling water bottles and two water bottles. Two packets of tea available, and one pack of coffee concentrate. Generally everything was clean. Breakfast pictures are included because it was vague Cons- BUT staff are inexperienced, too young, lack training, slow and inefficient. If they change this much money They need to hire staff that are experienced and have a details, thorough and careful training program. They need to have more managers to manage the operations and the staff to develop the necessary soft skills. The management seem unrealistic hiring many inexperienced staff trying to deliver 5 star service. It’s better to hire more older more experienced 5 star staff with hotel experience to guide the staff instead of hiring so many very very young inexperienced staff . Though the staff are sincere and put in their best efforts but it looks like this is their first job, and I don’t expect much from them. They’re slow, inefficient, and lost because of a lack of experience. Many of my requests were lost and required several follow reminders. Even though I have used the new automated toilets but their toilet was difficult to use and not flushing (low water pressure) bathtub and shower are poorly designed (but look pretty) and are hard to use. Restaurant was unable to explain what their 399 set dinner was, and didn’t have any photos Manager Zhou was very effective at trying to follow up and apologising. She was thoughtful and willing to listen. But upper management needs to change, and hire more managers, and develop a detailed training program (not just 1-2 days) but much longer and more ongoing. I’m afraid to ask if they can even speak English. Overall this hotel isn’t ready, overpriced and this should just be a soft launch, with discounted prices. If you’re gonna pay this much go to another real 5 star hotel, or only book their cheapest room. But if you really like swimming then it’s worth considering cause the pool is nice.

It can be seen that the boss invited a very professional designer to make a homestay very carefully. The layout of the room is very good and comfortable. The details of the design, such as the night light that automatically lights up at night, the location of the projector, I want to like the design, literary youth should like this homestay very much, breakfast is also very careful, Nutrition is rich, although not self-help, but there are some, the noodles are made now, very in line with our taste, I tried to eat, but still can't finish. It's a pity that the weather we went to was not very good, affecting the sea view, but the seaside was like this. The composition of the weather has a great impact. The only downside is that the distance from the 15th floor of our room to the front desk is a bit too far, and it is also the pain point of this homestay. I didn't bring anti-mosquito water, because I had to take the forest train, communicate with the front desk, and take the room away. Thank you for your thoughtful service! It is also very convenient to go out and take a taxi. There is also a special line at the door to Yunhai Square. It is acceptable to take the baby to the plank road for 30 minutes to Xiaomeisha! Go to Dameisha closer.

The room was clean and well equipped. The housekeeper was very nice and patient. The hotel is halfway up the mountain, so there is no place to move around before and after ordering takeout. You can only stay inside, three floors up and down, with good air, but relatively boring. The most unacceptable thing is that we booked a twin room, because two mothers brought their own children to stay, two adults and three children, the room fee was 850, and the dinner was 268. After checking in, they asked us to pay an additional 200 yuan, and the additional money did not change the original configuration. This is the first time we have encountered such a request. Since we have come to the mountains, we can't refuse this condition. In general, it is relatively quiet and boring, suitable for relaxation, but not worth it.

This time it was a family tour and the customer service staff was very polite. This room is self-service check-in. You need to contact customer service first to know the check-in process. But the room was not cleaned very well. I saw a few hairs on the sofa and the table. After I reported it to the customer service, they said they could arrange for a cleaning lady to come and take care of it immediately. But I refused because I was in a hurry to leave. I also found some garbage and dust accumulated between the tatami and the toilet door. Even if the door of the bathroom shower is closed, water will flow onto the floor, making it wet. The air conditioning was not enough. The luggage storage location is a bit far, about ten minutes' walk, which is not very convenient. The location to the beach is also convenient. Overall, the room is suitable for checking in and taking photos, and you can see the sea when you wake up in the morning.

A family reception ceremony was held at this hotel Facilities: The boss is very thoughtful in the design of the facilities, and can also sing. Many smart services Hygienic: The sanitation service is also very clean. The boss personally supervises and inspects it. The kitchen utensils and kitchen utensils are quite complete. It is worth considering if you want to cook and show it yourself. Environment: Very suitable for vacation, a large family gathers together, barbecues, blowing the sea breeze to see the mountain view, and it is very quiet at night. It is a good place to hide when you are upset. Service: The boss is very caring, because we have to pick up the relatives, the security management in this area is very rigorous, and we need to register when we enter. In order for us to pick up the relatives smoothly, the boss personally helped coordinate 👍 and thanked the boss for sending the blessing red envelope 🧧. this is my 3rd time booking for this hotel. I stayed for more than 1 week each time. The front desk receptionist and manager were very helpful and friendly. We were greet politely from the moment we step in the hotel main hall. During the stay our problems with hotel facilities such as card access and request for bottled drink were attended immediately without delay. They reception service is available 24/7. During my stay, the team extended their help on our Alipay issues, food ordering issues, medical attention and taxi booking. The payment for hotel stay and laundry was not tedious and the process is easy and fast. The location is strategic where it is close to a few convenience stores and restaurant. Outlets is just walkable distance from the hotel entrance. The hotel has a guarded compound therefore even though is near to the public beaches which is very crowded yet very secure and tranquil within the facility. Recently the construction work in front the hotel has completed where new pedestrian path and crossing traffic light were up and functioning. The hotel room is clean (daily room keeping) and provide all necessary personal consumable. Worth mentioned that they provided shoe cleaning kit, umbrella, additional slipper and towel for beach use. Overall, the hotel stay is worth the cost and will stay with them again.

This succulent garden homestay is worth recommending. It was a little rainy when we went up the mountain. It was foggy everywhere, like entering a fairyland. The scenery was excellent. The lobby was simple and fresh with a white piano. When I entered the room, there was a small terrace with a view of the garden and the lake. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable, and it was super suitable for a romantic check-in spot. It was the first time I stayed in this room type. In order to give the guests a sense of mystery, I won’t say much. In short, it was very special, with a spacious balcony with excellent visual effects. I give it a 5-star rating. I still want to book this room type in the future, and I told my sister that I would book this room in the future. The room is comfortable, the lake view is beautiful, and the service is very good.
