Great location, walking distance to IT and Electrical Shopping (Huaqiangbei). Few areas hotel need to work on - large tray for C/T, no room for laptop; shower cubicle door unable to close tight resulting floor wet after shower and the room door unable to double lock (broken). Take note, the underground subway passing noise can clearly heard as early as 6am till late night.

The hotel’s location is ideal, conveniently situated near Huaqiangbei Area, renowned for its bustling wholesale electronics markets in Shenzhen. The hotel room design is a harmonious blend of modernity and simplicity, truly captivating. While the hotel is tucked behind the mall, which may not be immediately apparent, its substantial building size is worth noting. Unfortunately, there’s no direct car access to the hotel lobby. What truly sets this hotel apart is its exceptional room and design, coupled with its exceptional helpfulness. I encountered some issues with my online packages, but the hotel staff promptly assisted me in resolving them. Beyond its prime location, the hotel offers several additional perks. Each floor and the front desk provide unlimited mineral water bottles, while there’s also a free laundry room equipped with a dryer, which is incredibly helpful for those needing to do laundry. The laundry room has around 5-6 machines.

This stay experience is excellent! The location is excellent, the subway station is just a few steps away, shopping malls, shopping and dining are very convenient. The hotel facilities are also very complete, the room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and comfortable, the bathroom is clean and tidy, and the toiletries are of high quality. There is also a giant screen projector and everything else, as well as high-speed and stable wifi. The service of the hotel front desk No. 02 worker is really thoughtful, it must be given five stars!

The have a great service… I got the toothbrush, shaving stick tea water replaced everything morning. The accommodation was clean The only downside is the early morning loud noise from the construction workers above my room

We enjoyed our stay at this residence style hotel at an excellent location which is within 5 minutes from subway station and for shopping. The staffs at the reception are very friendly, helpful and considerate. More information on how to get to this place from subway station or by hired car would be very beneficial. We would like to stay at this hotel again when we come to Shenzhen.

We had such a great stay at this place! Please keep in mind that this is a serviced apartment, so the amenities such as a washing machine was a great asset to have. The cleaning lady was so sweet and provided us with ample laundry detergent and clean slippers everyday. The location was quite central to many places. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Shenzhen!

The hotel was in an excellent location. Close to two metro stations. Plenty of food places around. At road level take the elevator to the 3rd floor where reception is located. I am glad I didn't opt for the including breakfast room options as the hotel breakfast looked very basic and there are much better options outside. The reservation noted a mini bar and soft drinks however the hotel did not provide these. Only one of the reception staff went over and above to help despite language barriers. There was no coffee available in the room. I also found a hair on the bed. Perhaps it was by accident from house keeping but please pay more attention to detail.

During my recent stay at the Great Wall Hotel in Shenzhen, I found my experience to be quite satisfying overall. The check-in process was notably quick and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room without any delays. The hotel maintains very high cleanliness standards; both the rooms and corridors were impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location of the hotel is perfect, making it convenient for both business and leisure travelers. It’s situated in a prime area with easy access to local attractions, dining, and transportation. However, I did encounter an issue that was somewhat frustrating. The hotel requires a deposit of 200¥ for one night, which is quite unusual for hotels of this stature. Furthermore, there is a significant lack of clarity regarding the return of this deposit. When asked, the staff could not provide a definitive timeline, mentioning it could take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. This uncertainty can be quite troublesome for guests who need the funds promptly after their stay. Despite this inconvenience, the overall experience at the Great Wall Hotel was positive. I would recommend it for the comfort and convenience it offers, but potential guests should be aware of the deposit policy.
