Hotels in Jiaochangwei and Dapeng Fortress, Shenzhen

A great place to stay right in Dapeng Fortress if you want to experience staying in an actual historical house. We really enjoyed our 2 nights' stay at Buyan Inn. The host, Tony was very friendly and helpful and speaks excellent English. We managed to contact him through Wechat about our arrival and he walked out to meet us to show us the way to the inn when we arrived by DiDi. The inn is in the old Town but just a 1 minute walk out so it was very convenient for foreign travellers who don't have their own transportation. Buyan Inn also has a restaurant. We tried the barbecue and it was delicious. There are many snack shops in the old Town. We also wanted to try some traditional food and found a traditional restaurant where the locals go to for meals just outside the old Town, a few minutes' walk from Buyan inn. All in all, we had a very memorable stay in Buyan Inn.

I decided to have a ”micro vacation” in Shenzhen on short notice. I chose this Santa Monica hotel that had been in my favorites for a long time. I didn't expect to meet the ideal life aesthetics around the corner✨ ▪️The room is a gentle cream wood style. I really like the unbeatable sea view on the balcony, very nice~ ▪️The butler service is considerate but not excessive. I received a seasonal fruit basket when I checked in. I contacted WeChat for a quick response if I needed anything. ▪️The first-floor terrace was unexpectedly photographed! The combination of white parasols + tropical green plants Order a cup of Americano and vacation in Chiang Mai~ It's more like an ideal friend's home than a hotel. There is no overly designed bustle. There is just the right amount of relaxation and freedom. It's a favorite that I want to hide secretly💛

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 1 night as we needed a relaxing getaway from Hong Kong. Booked the hotel very last minute (3 hours before we arrived) and it exceeded our expectations! We came during the week so the area itself was not busy (as i’ve read it can get on the weekends) so it was perfect for us to have some peace and quiet. The hotel is ON the beach and there are activities that can be done from there (kayaking, jet ski etc). There are cute little coffee shops/restaurants all within walking distance and in the evening there was entertainment on the beach including an open air cinema with beach chairs for guests. We booked a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony which was lovely in the evening. The room was very clean, the king size bed was huge and we were able to watch english movies via the projector! (Even travelling in the city at more well known hotels, we have had trouble watching english language tv/movies so this was a bonus for us) In the morning we asked for late check out (very last minute) and they let us stay for an additional hour. Also, breakfast was included but we missed the allocated time and they texted us via wechat to offer to bring up 2 plates AND coffee which they did not have to do but was so appreciated. Overall, we needed to relax and this hotel was perfect. We will definitely be returning again AND recommending to our friends.

It was my first time at Jiaochangwei B&B, and I was incredibly pleased with every detail! The place is filled with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner and his wife are friendly and welcoming, and Mimi, the housekeeper, is incredibly attentive and helpful. 💕 This trip was to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I asked Mimi about room decor and cake ordering beforehand. She patiently answered all my questions and assisted with the room setup. While the price of this B&B is slightly higher than other accommodations, I guarantee that once you visit, it'll be unforgettable... You'll definitely be a repeat guest. The owner's dedication to design is evident in every corner of the B&B, from the flowers and plants to every detail. The B&B boasts a prime location, offering not only sunrise views but also sweeping views of the beach. Whether you're on vacation or just wanting to take in the sights, it's perfect for every need. Numerous restaurants and convenience stores are also nearby, making it very convenient. For attractions, rent an electric car to visit the nearby Dapeng Ancient Town, where you can admire historical sites, take photos, and sample authentic local cuisine. There are various restaurants in the ancient city, and the scenery has retained its ancient style. It is definitely worth a visit!

Stay was very peaceful. Place was very neat, clean and beautiful. Staff is very much cooperative. Firstly I felt there was a problem with booking with trip.com, but actually it's much better then booking directly. Each n every information with contact details properly given by the trip.com. Surely I will visit again...prefer to have wechat if you don't understand Chines.

很好，環境很好，很乾凈，先前訂了一家別的店（領海小築）又臟又臭，然後改訂了這家，前台阿姨人很好，價格很便宜還包含早餐，去哪都很方便一出去就是海，走兩步就是小酒吧，燒烤，下次還會去，一樓客廳還有廚房呢！

Very good stay experience, the courtyard design is elegant and private. The check-in lobby is spacious and bright, and the functions are reasonable. There is also an elevator to the check-in floor. The room is spacious, clean and sanitary, and all kinds of configurations are very complete, just like a hotel. Although the breakfast is not a buffet, it is well matched and tastes good. I had to go out and couldn't book a good hotel, so I randomly booked a B&B. I was very confused because there were too few reviews for this place. Now I finally understand why there are no reviews. The boss lady would never fool us into writing good reviews hahaha, so I want to take the initiative to write a review to help friends who want to stay: 1. Hygiene: Very clean, because I have a little cleanliness, but I saw that all the places I used were very clean. There were a few small details. The teacups were not very clean, the slippers had some floating dust, and the bathtub outside also had some floating dust, but I think the mosquito disinfecting was quite good. Although the bathtub was in Outside, but there are almost no bugs, maybe one or two ants crawling by occasionally. I think it is great to be able to do this outdoors at the beach 2. Facilities: The overall planning is very reasonable, Tmall Genie is very obedient,The view is really superb, you can really see the sea while lying on the bed, and the faint sound of the waves is so comfortable. The only thing is that it is a bit difficult to use. The faucet in the washbasin has little water, and the hot water is difficult to adjust. Once it is adjusted to hot water, it is very hot. However, the water in the bathroom and the bathtub is very perfect. The boss said it was an electric water heater, and I was afraid that it would be difficult to wash, but it really has a large amount of water and is easy to adjust! I am a person who likes to use very hot water and takes an hour to take a bath. It is totally fine. It is 24 hours. I was worried that I would get sunburned during the daytime bath in summer, but the design of the terrace is just right for sunshade. I observed that the bathing place will not get sunburned all day long. It is great for people who need sun protection. 3. Transportation: It is very easy to get a taxi. Although it is very winding when you first enter, even when the traffic is the most congested, 1 You can get a taxi within 0 minutes. I suspect it is the best place to get a taxi in Dapeng Peninsula. 4. Catering: The breakfast at the B&B is also very clean and delicious. There are also many takeaways nearby. If you are willing to wait, you can also order takeaways from far away. Overall, it is a really great travel experience. I have stayed in various hotels, including the cheapest chain hotels and expensive resorts. I think this one can score 95 points among B&Bs, which is worth the price. Finally, since I was traveling alone, I would like to make a special recommendation . For those who like quietness, this house is really very friendly. When I first entered, I felt that this kind of house was a little soundproof, but there were basically no people around and no noise. The boss will not disturb you, but he is online on WeChat 24 hours a day to provide help when you need it most. Although the B&B has parent-child rooms, they are separated into buildings. There are no children in the building I live in. For those who don’t like children, I really don’t have any worries hahahaha. If I have the chance, I will come again !

The room boasts an excellent location, offering easy access to all areas. Stepping out of the hotel, you're greeted by the sea, with stunning sunrise views. Both the ocean and mountain scenery are absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's decor and furnishings are exquisite. The design of the entrance and the 'Mirror of the Sky' feature on the balcony are truly stunning, creating endless photo opportunities; you could easily spend half a day just taking beautiful pictures within the hotel. Our travel photographer was incredibly professional and delivered a high success rate for our photos! Complimentary drinks were a lovely touch and greatly appreciated by our older guests. The complimentary afternoon tea offered a wide selection, including fried shrimp and fries, lemon tea, and fresh Shine Muscat grapes. The two staff members provided excellent service; they were warm and incredibly attentive. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay!

Take the baby to revisit the old place, the old place is new, I really like it! Arrived at 9 o'clock in the evening, Huang store manager parking lot greeted, thoughtful and considerate! The room layout and hardware are superb! I like the design very much, and it is a few steps away from the beach. Miss Chen's service is also very intimate and thoughtful, and came to our room several times. The cleaning aunts are also smiling and warm, and feel at home!
