Time truly flies; another autumn is here before I know it. Having experienced Garden No. 6 through all its seasons, I've returned this autumn. The room was as cozy, quiet, and spotless as ever. The restaurant's dishes still have that unforgettable taste – both amazing and delicious. The staff were all smiles, offering incredibly thoughtful and attentive service. Oh, and a special mention to the feline manager, Egg Tart! She's adorably sassy, haha, like a charming 'cat security guard' overseeing the garden.

This is by far the most satisfying hotel I've stayed at during my business trips to Shenzhen. Many 5-star business hotels tend to have small, somewhat cramped rooms, but Grand Mercure was recommended by a colleague, and since I had business in Nanshan this time, I chose to stay here. The service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and the room was spotless. Even the bathtub was perfectly clean. I highly, highly recommend it to anyone particular about cleanliness – there wasn't a single stain on the tables, chairs, footstools, or sofa. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, highly recommended! I was in a bit of a hurry when I left, so I didn't get any photos, but it's a dessert lover's dream – every single dessert was fantastic! The hotel's location is also great; it's not in the bustling city center, so it's very quiet. There are some excellent eateries nearby – BBQ, rice noodle rolls (changfen), all tasting great. It's also a good spot for friends to meet up. Overall, I highly recommend it!

I am very satisfied with my stay this time. Tingting from the hotel always maintains a warm smile and has an excellent demeanor; her professionalism and friendliness leave a deep impression on guests. The hotel is conveniently located with excellent transportation links, making it easy to get around without any hassle. The facilities in the rooms are fully equipped, clean, and well-maintained, with all necessary amenities readily available.

It's a brand new, very nice hotel. We stayed for my husband's birthday celebration and it was very memorable. Staff were all very nice and kind, made our stay so special and memorable. Room is very nicely designed and kept tidy. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in SZ hotels. There's a shopping mall right next to the hotel, and it's close from Shenzhen Bay border. Very convenient. Thank you Shangri-la for giving me and my family a very good memory, and also celebrating my husband's birthday in a seamless way - everything was so perfect!

I reserved a room and requested it be away from the elevator (since they have the booking platform ask), but when I checked in they gave me a room next to reception and the elevator, which is extremely awkward and lacks privacy. When I asked them to switch my room, they refused unless I paid extra, which was nonsense since they failed to mention that the room I paid for is only available next to reception. This is also nonsense since I’ve booked this same style room previously and was far away from the elevator and reception. Basically, they lied to me just to get me to pay more, and they are misrepresenting their rooms on booking platforms. Their rooms are generally the same… they just refused to accommodate the request that THEY asked for, and they refused to take responsibility for it. I should not have to pay extra for their lack of communication.

Really enjoy staying in Holiday Inn Donghua Shenzhen. We had a early flight and arrive hotel about 10am and they allowed us to check in early. Room is clean and great breakfast, especially their freshly squeezed fruits juice. Great location where metro is just few step away from hotel. Katie Yeo from Font desk is very helpful. This remains one of my favourite hotel in Shenzhen. The rooms are nice, the atmosphere is good. Facilities and amenities are good. Location is accessible for various attractions. Breakfast is quite good... however, I am baffled why a brand like Kempinski would serve low-quality fruit 'squash' rather than real fruit juice. This, and minor other small details, remind you that this hotel doesn't match the real international standards. However, it is usually a decent price, so as long as you aren't paying too much for the room I still highly recommend it.

My previous trips to Shenzhen were always for business, but this time I decided to combine it with a vacation and booked the Youxiong Hotel. It truly changed my impression of the city. Nestled in an old quarter within an urban village, it offers the best of both worlds: delicious dining and charming small shops are just downstairs, while evenings are quiet and tranquil like a residential area. It's truly the perfect choice for spontaneous travelers who don't want the hassle of planning an itinerary. The front desk staff was excellent during check-in. Given that designers often select rather unique items, the staff member patiently explained how to use various amenities in the room and offered useful tips. On our departure day, it had just stopped raining, and the owner even used a camping trolley to help us load our luggage into the car. Plenty of photos of the rooms and decor can be found online, and they perfectly matched my expectations. The style is distinctly different from how I'd decorate my own home, which made for a refreshing and unique experience. The hotel also thoughtfully provides branded, high-quality toiletries, ensuring guests can use them with complete peace of mind. Oh, and the drinks at the downstairs coffee shop are fantastic! 👍🏼 I'll definitely be back for another stay.

**Pros:** The hotel service was exceptional. I booked the stay for my family, and to spare my elderly relatives from having to pay a separate deposit upon arrival, I offered to cover it. However, the hotel staff kindly waived the deposit entirely. I had originally booked a Deluxe Suite, but upon check-in, I was upgraded to an Anyan Suite. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a walk-in closet, and was absolutely flawless. **Other points:** There's a construction site directly opposite the hotel, but my family didn't report any sleep disturbance. The shower water temperature was a little on the cool side, and a buffet breakfast would have been preferred. However, on the whole, these minor drawbacks didn't detract from a very positive experience.
