I’ve stayed here for 30–60 days at a time, and it always feels like a second home.
The staff are truly exceptional — super helpful and friendly, and they speak English very well, which makes a big difference.
The hotel itself isn’t brand new, but it’s very cozy and well-maintained. Breakfast includes both local and Western options, which is a great touch.
Location is another big plus: just a short walk to the metro and the ferry terminal, and surrounded by a wide range of restaurants and bars — some of the best-known in all of Shenzhen. Plus, the sea is just around the corner.
Highly recommended for both short and long stays!
Hotel is new, room are big and clean, bed are comfy, big TV come with lot of local channels(no international channel), curtain are electronic...they have central pad to control everything, one touch for all (air-con, lightning, curtain, room service), toilet n shower are separate, so 2 guys can do different BIG things without affecting each others.
Front desk staff are friendly and provide free room upgrade ^_^.
Breakfast are normal and basic, dinning view near windows are pretty, waiter and waitress service are up to standard, egg counter can understand my request, noodle counter attitude have room for improvement.
Location:
Right next to the subway station, 8 mins walk can reach big shopping center, 12 mins walk can reach Sam's club (Bulk purchase supermarket), 5 mins walk can reach local wet market you can buy somethings what local buy
Check out is fast n ask for nice comment feedback, I think my overall comment for this hotel are good and definitely one of my choice for Shenzhen when I back.
Many thanks go to staff especially Dexter 鄭 & Alex 張 at frontdesk and Ms Minnie (on 45/F lounge) who are professional in customer services. Great time for celebration there! The evening cocktail standard is just so so, but the breakfast is nice! Great for enjoying Ginger Ale & afternoon tea at lounge, and tasty grape juice at lounge and breakfast!!! Thanks for the tasty birthday cake💚
The only things that require improvement are:
1) possible mis-communication between back office staff & housekeeping which caused an hour+ delay
2) a few-days delay of returning the room deposit
3) staff at lobby bar came to clear only partial rubbish of the previous customer, but left some rubbish on our table .... strange
4) No NHK Japanese TV programe in room. Only Korean one offered.
May revisit this hotel in future again 🙂🙂

Due to changes in our travel plans, we had to book our three-night stay separately in August. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring we stayed in the same room throughout our visit.
Daniel at the front desk was particularly helpful, providing us with valuable information about the hotel and the surrounding area. A big thank you to him!
The hotel is centrally located in the Nanshan area and is quite new and very clean. There is a subway station and plenty of dining options nearby.
Our room featured a modern design and layout, with plenty of power and USB outlets, as well as smart voice control. Free self-laundry facilities are available, which may be staffed during busy hours.
The breakfast area is spacious and offers a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, along with fruits, all served buffet-style.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

The Shenzhen Venice Indigo Hotel, owned by OCT, underwent a major renovation in 2022, transforming from a Crowne Plaza to an Indigo. The refreshed lobby and public areas are quite successful. However, not all guest rooms have been fully refurbished yet. This time, I stayed in what is currently the best suite, which has just been renovated. But it used to receive a lot of complaints from guests due to the hotel's rather arbitrary naming of its room types!
Forget fancy names like 'Presidential Suite,' 'Imperial Suite,' or 'Ambassador Suite.' Even 'Executive Suite' or 'View Suite' would have been perfectly fine, wouldn't they? But this hotel insisted on being different! They directly named it the 'Guest Restroom Suite.' Perhaps they wanted to state straightforwardly that this suite also features a guest restroom, but how odd does that name sound? What do you think? 😳
Perhaps due to the sheer number of complaints, this suite has finally been renamed recently! Now it's called 'One-Bedroom Suite, King Bed, Living Room, Guest Restroom'? Okay, at least it sounds much more normal now, but did they absolutely *have* to mention the guest restroom?
Actually, I think it's a valid point. After all, it's a renovation of an older hotel, so even the suite isn't particularly spacious. But despite its small size, it's fully equipped; this is, in fact, a proper one-bedroom, one-living room suite with two bathrooms.
Compared to the old rooms, the newly renovated guest rooms feature a significantly different style. You can tell it's an Indigo hotel the moment you step inside. The furniture and decor blend contemporary fashion with vintage elements, retaining some traditional motifs while being exquisitely refined. The choice of lighting fixtures, in particular, shows great care.
Upon entering, the guest restroom is on the left, and the living room is straight ahead, with a standalone mini-bar cabinet. Complimentary Jing Tian purified water is provided, along with a capsule coffee machine, DE drip coffee, and instant coffee – a very complete selection. However, the basic tea bags feel a bit cheap. A retro green De'Longhi kettle is provided, and the mini-fridge contents are complimentary. On top of the mini-bar, there's also a golden winged lion statue, a symbolic emblem of Venice.
Although the living room is compact, it still accommodates a lovely sofa set and a standard desk.
Due to the limited bedroom space, there's no sofa by the window. The bed-end bench is placed near the bathtub. A wardrobe acts as a partial partition between the bedroom and the master bathroom, creating an open-plan design. The wardrobe, however, is rather small and only provides space for one suitcase. The advantage is that it opens from both sides, allowing access from both the bedroom and the master bathroom.
The master bathroom vanity is spacious but features only a single basin. The hairdryer is a Dyson. The toilet in the master bathroom is a smart toilet, while the 'guest restroom' that the hotel repeatedly emphasized has a regular toilet. The artificial stone bathtub comes with a caddy, headrest, bath salts, etc. It's also a view bathtub, with the Window of the World's Eiffel Tower visible outside. However, the windows were so dirty that it severely impacted the view. Fortunately, the Executive Lounge has a terrace.
The shower stall is not large but features a footrest design. Overall, despite the relatively small absolute area, all essential functions are well-provided. The renovation is quite pleasing to the eye. I look forward to all guest rooms being fully renovated soon.
Special mention and praise to staff member Xiao Ao.
Booked room 19/4-20/4 3 floor sideA, rest assured that the homestay has its own elevator, hotel-level homestay, as soon as you enter the East Gate, you will see it on the right, the ground day coffee and night oil, the basement is electric sound DJ, 2 floor is clear, 3 to 5 floor is a guest room, the rooftop has a camping feel both tables and chairs, bar + clear bar + DJ, do you think it will be very noisy? I told you that the soundproofing is very good. The terrace of the room is facing the ancient city street. After night, there are more people. The giant glass door is closed. Don’t say that the sound of the tour is less. Even the music downstairs can’t be heard. Super good sound insulation, the fire ladder has no door but there are super thick soundproof sandbags. The terrace also has a washing machine and dryer. The detergent laundry detergent is also prepared for you. I knew that you didn’t have to bring so many clothes. The room design is stylish and tasteful. The facilities are newer. The giant bathtub is also cleaned. Whether it is a housekeeper or a barista, The service attitude of the bartender is very good, polite and thoughtful, and will definitely find a chance to live again.
Pleasant stay at Holiday Inn. Bed was super comfy, decent size room and well maintained. Chambermaid extremely hardworking in keeping the room dust and odour free! Staffs are all extremely helpful, attentive and polite. Location is a plus point, just a minute walk from station!

We chose the InterContinental Shenzhen OCT, conveniently located right by Shenzhen Station after crossing the border from Hong Kong. The receptionist was incredibly welcoming and upgraded us to a pool-view room. The room itself was spacious with a fantastic view, featuring a large balcony and a luxurious bathtub. We were especially impressed that the bathroom mirror could even play TV shows – a truly high-tech touch! Initially, we only planned for a one-night stay, but due to a typhoon, our flight for the next day was canceled. We contacted the front desk to extend our stay for another night, and they graciously allowed us to keep our upgraded room. All the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any request. The hotel grounds are designed like a tropical rainforest, and the air after the rain was wonderfully fresh. It truly lives up to its reputation as a top family-friendly hotel. There are numerous pools and water parks of various sizes, complete with an artificial beach and lounge chairs, which made us feel like we were on holiday in Sanya. We saw many families with children enjoying the facilities. The breakfast selection was extensive, and we loved the option to pick our own fruits for freshly squeezed juice 🍹. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
The elegant environment is accompanied by soothing music, and the service is friendly and considerate. I hope it can be maintained as always. It is great, and the room is very clean! There is also free breakfast, which is also very good! It is in Nantou Ancient City, and transportation is also very convenient! Caroline's service is good!
I had a really pleasant time during my stay at the hotel. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing too. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back

GGuest UserThis stay was a great experience! Xiaolong at the front desk was enthusiastic and professional. He checked in efficiently and neatly, took the initiative to introduce the surrounding travel guide, and also helped with the luggage. He was full of smiles throughout the whole process, which made people feel warm. I have to give Xiaolong a thumbs up!

GGuest UserThe rooms are simple and generous, warm and comfortable. The walls are white and clean, and the furniture is very new. Sleeping at night is particularly quiet and can make people relax. It is very close to the window of the world from the hotel and it is very convenient to play. The staff is kind and thoughtful, making people feel very comfortable, and problems can be solved in time. This trip is even better because of staying at this hotel, and will definitely come again in the future!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean, the rooms are cleaned very well, and there is a washing machine. I have stayed here for several days in a row. The sound insulation is also OK. I was very tired after getting the goods in Nanyou. The front desk service is also very good. The most important thing is that the price is really affordable. Compared with the nearby Nanyou, it is 300.➕, which is really affordable for this store.

GGuest UserThe first time I stayed in a youth hostel, it was not as bad as the Internet said. This youth hostel has a very good environment, the sanitation is very clean, the young lady living inside is very easy to get along with, and everyone will raise some flowers and plants, which makes people feel very warm. The most important thing is that it is very close to the subway station and convenient to travel. Next to it is Vientiane World Shopping without running far. If you need to choose this youth travel, you will not step on the pit
