Pet friendly Hotels Shangri-La

The accommodation is beautiful with a very friendly and lovely young lady as host. She picked up our luggages from the entrance of the Dukezong ancient town and the accommodation is just a short cobblestoned walk away. The town is beautiful and they have dancing every evening in the ancient town square where everyone can join. Wouldn't mind staying here again if I'm in Shangri-La again.

I was skeptical about TeaHorse at first due to the lack of reviews but this turned out to be a wonderful stay! We stayed here overnight on our 2 day hike through the Tiger Leaping Gorge. We upgraded to the Deluxe Standard Room (for extra 50 CNY) since the room is newer and slightly bigger. The ensuite toilet was basic but very clean. The beds were also heated and the aircon could be used for heating and cooling. The guesthouse also runs a restaurant cooking homecooked meals and a cafe/bar boasting a beautiful view. We felt that the view from TeaHorse was better than the one at Halfway House, which seems to be the more popular resting spot amongst hikers. The view of stars from the cafe viewpoint at night is also amazing. The staff helped us book a return bus to Lijiang, which left from Tina’s guesthouse the next day. Tina’s was a 4h hike from TeaHorse and we boarded the bus back to Lijiang Old Town with no problem. Overall a lovely stay and would highly recommend this room as an overnight rest point for hikers.

It is very shaking when going up and down the stairs, which is not friendly to friends with heavy luggage 2. Later, the hot water on the fourth floor was not warm enough, but I was in a hurry to check out, so I didn't give any feedback 3. The log house has no sound insulation, but the overall environment is quiet In summary, it is highly recommended and will be considered if I come again next time

The biggest highlight is that it is far away from the city lights. It is very quiet at night. You can see a very bright starry sky when you go out for a walk. 5. Excellent guesthouse on the outside of Dekezong Old Town conveniently located a very short walk to the main square, restaurants, bars, and shops. The rooms are immaculately decorated with a number of high end features from the bedroom furniture, bathroom fixtures, and toiletries. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud, very western, but your typical hard Chinese bed. I've stayed in many hotels in Shangri-la and this is the best, by far.

Highly recommended, it’s really good to stop here after hardcore hiking at TLG , such a great spot to rest and healing , the owner and her family very helpful and friendly , she even help us to booked carpool to shangri la with only 70yuan per head .

Splendid! This is actually really great place to stay in! It's walking distance to the ancient town and surrounded by restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies. The place is extremely clean and the oxygen spirit supply really helped in reducing our altitude sickness. The service level is top notch. The crew will add you to their WeChat group upon confirmation of booking and answer all your questions. In our case, they helped us to pre-order oxygen bags as we were afraid that we might need them. The owner even refunded the excess we paid when we downgraded our room on one of the three days we stayed. They will really do their best to help you. You won't regret staying here!
