Shanghai Songjiang District Hotels

As soon as I stepped into the Qingju Hotel on Jiuting Street in Songjiang, I was healed by the spring breeze smile at the front desk, and the meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel at ease. The elegant aroma in the lobby instantly dispelled the fatigue of the journey. The guest rooms are extremely soundproofed and quiet as if isolated from the world. The breakfast is not only rich in variety, but also full of fireworks. Smart and convenient hardware facilities, paired with soft bedding, are simply a warm and caring travel feast. The bedding is as always maintained as the quality of Atour, and the pillows are all pro models, very comfortable. It is very close to Hongqiao Airport, 15 minutes by car. There are also many places to eat nearby, and there are two shopping malls nearby. I will continue to choose next time.

Great location, very convenient for Wanda Plaza, and the surrounding views are also lovely. Alice at the front desk was particularly friendly and welcoming. Her smile was sweet, and she noticed my baby had come downstairs without shoes, so she thoughtfully offered a pair of disposable slippers for children. Such a sweet and caring gesture! 🫰 Overall, our experience was comfortable. However, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1) The lobby air conditioning was too warm 🥵. For an international 5-star hotel, this sort of hardware issue is quite unexpected and should be addressed. 2) Collecting food deliveries was quite inconvenient. I suggest implementing a system where robots can deliver food to guests' rooms, which would greatly enhance guest convenience and also help reduce elevator usage, as the hotel only has four elevators. 3) The extra bed fee of 233 RMB per night felt a bit too expensive 😂, especially when considering your overall room rates.

The front desk staff were very polite, and check-in was a breeze with hardly any wait time. It certainly wasn't as bad as some reviews made it out to be (I almost didn't book because of them!). The room's cleanliness was also much better than what I'd read in other reviews; perhaps it varies by room type. We received a room upgrade, and the view was fantastic. The Shanhaijing light show at night was incredibly spectacular. Our butler, Bruce, was incredibly attentive. He proactively connected with us on WeChat in advance to ensure smooth communication, always responded promptly to our queries, and even provided supplies, keeping our kids well-stocked with drinks. We're very grateful! Overall, the experience was wonderful. Having visited Shanghai numerous times, the Deep Pit Hotel definitely offers a distinct and truly unique experience. I highly recommend everyone to check it out.

I booked this hotel for my sisters visiting from abroad, as it's an international establishment. They were very pleased with their stay; both the facilities and service were excellent. This will definitely be our preferred hotel for all future visits. The hotel is located in a bustling area of the old town, with street food and shopping right outside, making it incredibly convenient.

This is our second visit to Songjiang with the kids, and we opted for this economy hotel once more. Its location is excellent, right within Wanda Plaza. The mall is just outside the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient, and you can also catch a movie or simply relax. The hotel offered a complimentary room upgrade, and upon entering, the room was very clean and had no unpleasant odors. They provided children's amenities, including a step stool and kids' slippers, which was a thoughtful and convenient touch. Though the breakfast buffet was modest in size, it offered a good variety of basic food items. A short taxi ride (minimum fare) can take you to attractions like Happy Valley, Maya Beach Water Park, Sheshan, Chenshan Botanical Garden, and Guangfulin. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

I've stayed here quite a few times. It's perfect for bringing the kids for a swim during the hot summer, though it can get quite busy. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of USB charging ports, but you can always borrow an adapter from the front desk. Breakfast is decent too; they have noodles, desserts, and coffee – everything I wanted. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

I'd visited this hotel a few years back. At that time, there was no outdoor pool, and the indoor one had a cool transparent glass infinity design. But this time, the outdoor pool absolutely blew me away – it totally exceeded my expectations! It's incredibly beautiful, so much fun, and really expansive, with clearly defined swimming areas for both kids and adults. I absolutely adore the 'mini-Sanya' vibe it offers. They've also created a 'Squirrel Kingdom' playground for children, making it perfect for families who just want to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities all day. The evening buffet was fantastic! It's so convenient and wonderful to spend an entire day at the hotel without needing to step out. The dinner buffet was also excellent value for money, offering steak, lamb chops, sashimi, and a great variety of kid-friendly options. My only minor complaint is that drinks weren't included, haha. However, buying a bottle of red wine separately at the hotel wasn't overly expensive. It's a pity we only stayed for one day; we're already planning to return for two days next month! When we checked out, a staff member named Bob was incredibly thoughtful, giving us a huge fruit platter and a gift for our child. Wishing the hotel continued success and prosperity! We'll definitely be frequent visitors!

I was incredibly lucky to snag a fantastic deal! After spending five nights in Songjiang, my last night was at the Huhuamingdu Hotel. Thanks to a 500 RMB coupon from Songjiang Culture and Tourism, I managed to book a Deluxe King Room at an absolutely unbeatable price. Opened in 2023, the hotel feels very new. The room decor is quite modern and high-tech, with great attention paid to every detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and having a capsule coffee machine in the room was a wonderful bonus! It's quite an impressive, upscale hotel with an excellent location – a tranquil oasis amidst a lively area. If the weather is nice, you can also take a pleasant stroll by the lake right next to the hotel.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She gave us an appropriate delay in check-out time depending on the number of rooms. The room she arranged was also very good and quiet, clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment. There were blankets in the corridor, which was very quiet. The surrounding environment was also good, with good greenery. The bed was very soft and comfortable. If the pillow was not suitable, she would help to change it in time. The hotel's location was also good, and it was convenient to travel. The gym and laundry were very convenient to use. It deserves a five-star rating.

Overall very good! I have already told my friends to come next time haha. It should be a new store, and the equipment experience is very good. Needless to say, the lighting has several effects to grind. The curtains are also electric, and I was surprised to find that they were large floor-to-ceiling windows, which were very bright. The overall environment is as clean and tidy as ever. There is laundry + drying + ironing in the public area, which is very cool and intimate for playing in the water park next to it. The self-service storage service also helped a lot when I went to Happy Valley the next day. Staff service is very good.
