Shanghai Songjiang District Hotels

As soon as I stepped into the Qingju Hotel on Jiuting Street in Songjiang, I was healed by the spring breeze smile at the front desk, and the meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel at ease. The elegant aroma in the lobby instantly dispelled the fatigue of the journey. The guest rooms are extremely soundproofed and quiet as if isolated from the world. The breakfast is not only rich in variety, but also full of fireworks. Smart and convenient hardware facilities, paired with soft bedding, are simply a warm and caring travel feast. The bedding is as always maintained as the quality of Atour, and the pillows are all pro models, very comfortable. It is very close to Hongqiao Airport, 15 minutes by car. There are also many places to eat nearby, and there are two shopping malls nearby. I will continue to choose next time.

The villa is clean and tidy at an affordable price. The yard is large, with a rockery, pavilion, lawn, swimming pool, and a pond with many koi. They are fat and big and beautiful. There are two mahjong tables, billiards, and KTV in the room for entertainment. Everyone will never get bored playing.

Built into a natural quarry, the hotel boasts a truly unique design, and the night views are absolutely breathtaking. Our room balcony offered direct views of the waterfall and lake, with evenings featuring a captivating water screen light show. It truly felt like stepping into a sci-fi movie! As a frequent guest, I can attest that the high-tech room experience is truly superb; everything can be conveniently controlled via the AI assistant, XiaoDu! Moreover, the service from our butler, Alice, was incredibly attentive and thorough. She proactively followed up and assisted with any issues we had, and even anticipated our needs by communicating with us beforehand, truly epitomizing 'proactive service and swift response,' which elevated our entire travel experience. I highly recommend asking Alice to help plan your experience; for those who appreciate attention to detail, you won't be disappointed!

Great location, very convenient for Wanda Plaza, and the surrounding views are also lovely. Alice at the front desk was particularly friendly and welcoming. Her smile was sweet, and she noticed my baby had come downstairs without shoes, so she thoughtfully offered a pair of disposable slippers for children. Such a sweet and caring gesture! 🫰 Overall, our experience was comfortable. However, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1) The lobby air conditioning was too warm 🥵. For an international 5-star hotel, this sort of hardware issue is quite unexpected and should be addressed. 2) Collecting food deliveries was quite inconvenient. I suggest implementing a system where robots can deliver food to guests' rooms, which would greatly enhance guest convenience and also help reduce elevator usage, as the hotel only has four elevators. 3) The extra bed fee of 233 RMB per night felt a bit too expensive 😂, especially when considering your overall room rates.

This is our second visit to Songjiang with the kids, and we opted for this economy hotel once more. Its location is excellent, right within Wanda Plaza. The mall is just outside the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient, and you can also catch a movie or simply relax. The hotel offered a complimentary room upgrade, and upon entering, the room was very clean and had no unpleasant odors. They provided children's amenities, including a step stool and kids' slippers, which was a thoughtful and convenient touch. Though the breakfast buffet was modest in size, it offered a good variety of basic food items. A short taxi ride (minimum fare) can take you to attractions like Happy Valley, Maya Beach Water Park, Sheshan, Chenshan Botanical Garden, and Guangfulin. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

The hotel boasts a fantastic environment with excellent air conditioning. Check-in was incredibly smooth and quick. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and attentive; they meticulously verified the children's IDs and even presented them with welcome gifts. The lobby also featured charming food delivery robots. The swimming pool was clean and uncrowded, ensuring we had a wonderful time during our two-day stay. We also took the kids to visit the nearby Nanjing Photo Studio film set and indulged in plenty of delicious, affordable food options close to the hotel.

I booked this hotel for my sisters visiting from abroad, as it's an international establishment. They were very pleased with their stay; both the facilities and service were excellent. This will definitely be our preferred hotel for all future visits. The hotel is located in a bustling area of the old town, with street food and shopping right outside, making it incredibly convenient.

Booking our room on Trip.com the same day was super convenient for a spur-of-the-moment getaway. The hotel's atmosphere is fantastic; this is our second time here. It's perfectly set up for families with kids. The artificial beach is great for sand-digging (though our kids are past that stage now). We explored all the pools, big and small, and the kids absolutely loved the waterslides. There's a 'Petopia' for petting cats, and outdoors, you'll find activities like rock climbing, zip-lining, and a high ropes course. There's also a petting zoo, but we felt its value for money was just okay. The hotel's buffet breakfast was also quite good. Our room featured a balcony with a great view and was very spacious!

My primary reason for choosing this hotel was its proximity to the 'Nanjing Photo Studio' filming location. I searched for nearby hotels, and Strich stood out as the best option – and it certainly didn't disappoint. The hotel's unique architecture, reminiscent of a miniature Wukang Building, is incredibly photogenic. I was even upgraded to a twin-bed suite. While not spacious, the suite felt compact yet exquisitely designed, and the cleanliness was impeccable. You can truly tell it's a new hotel; the facilities and hygiene are absolutely top-notch. It was also quite entertaining to watch some short dramas being filmed on-site. The biggest advantage is its incredibly close proximity to the film studio, which made everything so convenient. The hotel even provided complimentary tickets, which was a fantastic bonus and great value. Finally, a huge compliment to the service – both the front desk staff and the butler service were exceptional! My only suggestion would be to perhaps offer a slightly wider variety of dishes at the restaurant and to enhance the flavors a bit.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She gave us an appropriate delay in check-out time depending on the number of rooms. The room she arranged was also very good and quiet, clean and tidy, with complete facilities and equipment. There were blankets in the corridor, which was very quiet. The surrounding environment was also good, with good greenery. The bed was very soft and comfortable. If the pillow was not suitable, she would help to change it in time. The hotel's location was also good, and it was convenient to travel. The gym and laundry were very convenient to use. It deserves a five-star rating.
