Shanghai Putuo District Hotels

The hotel service is the best among the 8 hotels I stayed in during my trip to China. There is pick-up and drop-off from the airport and subway station. The driver is very friendly. There are drinks and snacks in the car. The hotel provides late-night snacks from 8pm to 10pm. There are many choices for breakfast. They can also arrange medicinal baths and foot soaks.

Excellent location: 1-2 minute walking distance to more than three malls (Xuperman, Polaris, King88 and more), many restaurants (Shanghainese and other Chinese restaurants, Jinqiang Beef Noodles apparently being the most popular, Indian restaurant, different international fast food chain restaurants, etc.), a large grocery store, corner/convenience stores, bank offices, etc., 10 minute walking distance to the metro station… The room was quite and clean, the bed was comfortable, there is an iron and ironing board, a safebox, and a refrigerator/freezer in the room which make the stay easier, elegant breakfast restaurant which is not crowded, great breakfast, great staff everywhere… I highly recommend this excellent hotel.

the location of the hotel is exactly excellent, easy to find and there are supermarkets near by. The thing that I like the most is the place is not very busy. the stuffs are friendly and nice. The room is not big but cozy

The hotel was spacious, you can fit 2 large luggages in the room and still have ample space to walk ard. If only they had one more extra chair so my husband and I can sit comfortably. I find the bed comfortable enough, I like the automatic toilet bowl, the pressure for the water was just right. The helpers, service staff was very helpful and polite throughout our stay. They provided us with lots of water to make sure we are hydrated as the weather outside is really hot. The cleaner’s name is LIN or LING 阿姨， she was the one that took care of us throughout our 5 days. The room service food was way better than the one in JW Marriott for some reason. Please order the Xiao Long Bao and bolognese pasta. You can skip the pizza entirely, it’s bad. We ordered a bucket of ice, and there was a young boy who delivered our ice in the middle of the night with a huge smile, he said, “Hi”👋🏼with a hig happy smile and then a “BYE~”when he’s all done. He was so enthusiastic and it made our night. At the lobby, it’s pretty small, some taxis can’t find the entrance to the lobby, take a pic if you order a didi, so the driver may know what to look out for. The doorman was really nice, he helped us with our luggage’s in seconds, 谢谢你 Liu Xiao Xiu. I highly recommend the stay here as all the staffs seems like they have gone through a 5 star training program. It’s one of the most pleasant stay. I hope this review will not lead to a price increase on trip.com. Chang Shou lu has lots of hipster cafe and interesting restaurants ard the hood, so do you research and explore the neighbourhood.

Mr zhang at the front desk with the glasses is extremely kind and helpful. He does an amazing job doing introductions to all the hotel facilities and gave us lots of water to drink. He was very welcoming and very helpful. He went a step further other to even help me doing the drying cloths job which isn’t supposed to be the scope of his work. Super kind and friendly and I am very thankful. The place is very central, close to many fancy restaurants and cafes, suchs Starbucks’s and Tims, the room is very spaciousus, sufficient lights from the windows and very comfort AC temperature. The bed is large and soft, ensured us to have very deep sleep. The TV programs are fun to watch. The amenities are very new, great sitting area in the lounge, comfy couches and very nice laundry facilitiesiloyies on the second floors floor. Breakfast is such a plus, they have a greatt number of different types of food, from sweet dumplings to tasty shanghai noodles, from watermelon to fresh veggie salad. Yogurts and Milk, I definitely would come back again and it’s my only go to placee in the area.

A great new hotel experience, with a stylish, unique and tasteful Shikumen architectural style. I especially like the room with skylight and small balcony on the top floor, and the exquisite and detail-oriented bathroom design is also great. I am also very satisfied with the hotel's service, especially Simon and Ashley at the front desk are very considerate and thoughtful, which deserves praise!

It has been my second time in this hotel and both my experiences were great! The room is very comfortable and clean, the staff is nice and friendly and the breakfast was very very nice with many different choices. The only downside was that the room smelled like cigarettes’ smoke even though I asked for a no-smoking treatment but, apart from that, I really recommend this hotel.

While some of the room's facilities felt a bit dated, it was spotlessly clean, and the staff were attentive enough to provide a clothes drying rack when they saw I was air-drying clothes. The swimming pool was the main reason I chose this hotel, and it did not disappoint. It was less crowded in the evenings, making it perfect for the kids to maintain their water confidence. The self-service laundry room could benefit from more plastic bags and notepads; a laundry hamper would also be a great addition. The buffet breakfast offered a good variety of options, and I appreciated that teacups were available for brewing tea. The location is also very convenient, being just a few hundred meters from two subway stations. Plus, there's a lovely bakery nearby with delicious treats.

Overall, a great stay! The value for money is excellent, and the rooms are really nice – you wouldn't guess it's a hotel that's been open for ten years. It's very close to Hongqiao Airport, and the surrounding amenities are good, making it super convenient. There's even a subway line right outside the entrance. We went to Xintiandi in the evening, and the subway ride was very convenient. There's a unique boat display at the hotel entrance, and the service was absolutely superb. This is easily one of the best hotels I've stayed at in years, both for the overall experience and value. Plus, there's a kids' play area on the fourth floor. I'm already planning to bring my child here next time!

The hotel's location was easy to find, with plenty of dining options nearby. It's a tranquil oasis in a bustling area. The bedding was excellent, and it was wonderfully quiet at night. The expansive view from the window was a bonus. I usually struggle to fall asleep, but the complimentary goodnight drink combined with the peaceful environment ensured I had a perfect night's rest. The service was also incredibly attentive. The staff were all soft-spoken, and their thoughtful guidance and detailed tips made us feel very well looked after. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The mixed noodles (拌面) and mini wontons (小馄饨) were exceptionally fresh and flavorful, perfectly complemented by a wide variety of fried egg options. It was a truly delightful culinary experience, definitely worthy of being on a 'must-eat' list. I would love to return and experience it again if I get the chance.
