Jia Qi hotel by the city fitness East Nanjing road location- is only a few minutes walk from Exit 3 East Nanjing road metro. Possible with so heavy luggages, recommended for exit 2 if with heavy luggages. More walk but not difficult still close by, with accessible elevator. The hotel reception is on the ground floor, there are three different receptionists, 2 male & 1 female staff. We met female receptionist who was very helpful and attentive- love her courtesy! Another good thing about this hotel is the white tea shower gel, nice! Breakfast was. quite a different for us 😅 very local and organized in a bag… water was good hot and strong pressure.

My stay at the Jia Qi Hotel (Shanghai the Bund Nanjing East Road shop) was pleasant. The guestroom with two beds was comfortable and well-maintained. It was a good experience overall.

The hotel can be a bit hard to find and the reception is nothing but a booth by the front door that you might easily miss (I did), but the room itself felt very fresh & nice and the shower was excellent. Unfortunately, despite the bed being large and the linen literally fine, the mattress was much too hard, which made it hard for me to get a good night's sleep on. Special thanks to the staff for being so kind and bringing breakfast to my room at no additional charge.

Everything is as shown in the official site photos. Only thing to note is the ceiling is abit low but overall still acceptable for us. Location is really convenient with just a few walks to Nanjing Road.

Best location to easy Nanjing Rd metro station and access to other places. Foods and shopping mall are surrounding. The staffs are helpful and friendly.

The room is clean but not big and The ceiling is short.. the location very nice near from the bund, nanjing road, mcd open until 23.59 only 1 minutes and lawson in front of the hotel.. Is up to you 😁

They have a good option to rent a room hourly. It’s really good to my family because we arrived very early and our hotel cannot checkin early. My family could take a good nap before heading to explore Shanghai in the afternoon. We love this.

Very good location and the rest are just ok, walk 5 minutes from the East Nanjing road station Exit 1. Anyone above 6 feet tall or above please forget about this hotel as the roof is too short for you.

Hotel location is easy to find, overall the room was okay however the floor feel kind of damp/moist and the ceiling is low.

This hotel really nailed the location game — just 100 meters from the subway, making zipping around the city a breeze. Hungry? You’re in luck! There’s a bakery, a Lawson, and even a McDonald’s right around the corner to satisfy every craving, whether you're in the mood for a pastry, a snack run, or some fast food comfort. The staff were warm and welcoming, even if English wasn’t their strongest suit — their friendliness made up for any language gaps. A big bonus: we were able to leave our luggage at the lobby on our last day while we roamed the city one last time. Super convenient! The room was clean and had just the right amount of space to not feel cramped — nothing fancy, but totally comfortable. Now, for the quirks: - No fridge in the room, so maybe hold off on stocking up on sushi for later. - The hallway ceiling was oddly low. I'm 170cm (about 5'7") and it was right there above my head. Thankfully, the room ceiling was perfectly fine. All in all, for the price and location, this place was a gem. I’d definitely recommend it — especially to my shorter friends.
