The first time I came to Shanghai, I chose the Grand Mercure Hotel Zhengda. It was to see the "International Musical Instruments Exhibition". The hotel is very close to the New China International Exhibition Center. Many VIPs who participated in the International Musical Instruments Exhibition stayed at the Grand Mercure Hotel. It really met my requirements. We stayed on the 17th floor. The room was very large, with a sofa, a desk, and free drinks in the small refrigerator, including Coke Zero, Sprite, soda water, salty soda, etc. There were plum candies, tea bags, coffee, and Mannings green biscuits in the small box next to the desk. The bathroom was very large. There was a bathtub. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. The view was wide. You can see the trees on the street. It was full of green. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to Thumb Plaza. I like the Aldi supermarket inside. I go there every day. Finally, I bought the butterfly cakes from the International Hotel that I had always wanted. It really lived up to its reputation. It took less than 15 minutes to walk to Lianyang Plaza. In the morning, I sat under the big tree in front of McDonald's, drinking coffee ☕️, basking in the sun, and watching the pedestrians coming and going. It felt good. It takes less than half an hour to walk to Dingxiang Square. The Lao Jishi Restaurant and Tsui Wah Tea Restaurant inside are both my favorite restaurants. There is a Catholic church next to the hotel. I like walking on the tree-lined road and smelling the sweet-scented osmanthus fragrance all over the street. There is also Century Park nearby. I also saw kindergarten children coming to the park to play that day. Unfortunately, it was already October this time and the outdoor swimming pool was closed. Come back to swim in the outdoor swimming pool next summer 🏊🏻
