Golden Tulip Shanghai Reviews

Travelled with my son and had a lovely stay in the hotel. They have a swimming pool opens until 10pm. Just wished it could open earlier in the morning. We had a late check out for free as well.

Hotel is under construction and trip.com didn’t mention it during booking.

Excellent location and service.  Very large hotel room with friendly hotel worker.  The bell boy was friendly and very helpful.

I had a great stay at The Golden Tulip. The first I was given had a really foul smell, extremely stuffed and moldy but I went down to the concierge and asked for a room switch. Which they did give me and the next one smelt okay. The service was good. Room was okay for the price considering it’s in Shanghai and it’s not too far from The Bund area. Around 20 mins by car could be more depending on the traffic. I’d definitely stay here again! This was my second time actually but it was even way better a few years ago.

Good hotel, lots of amenities and plus for free washing and drying. Negatives are probably related to the age of the place such as cold food at restaurants due to lack of people, and more detail on cleanliness would have made it a true 4 stars.

I had an amazing five-night stay at the Golden Tulip Shanghai! The location was perfect, the service was excellent, and the view from the room was stunning. One of the highlights was the thoughtful surprise they arranged for my brother’s birthday, sending a cake via a robot, which made the experience even more special. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!

The location is good, there are two subway lines within a short 10 minute walk from the hotel.

Good service from Mr.Liu Hao. The room is comfortable and rich variety of breakfast. Nice experience.

Amazing Hotel and several English-speaking staff to help. Rooms are pretty wide, great breakfast with several vegetarian options. Overall, an amazing stay experience

Great stay at Golden Tulip! Clean, comfortable and big room. Breakfast is good, they have all types of food. Staff speaks English and handled everything perfectly. Will stay again for sure.

Close to a shopping mall, and 10 minute walk to metro station. Small convenience store within car park which came in handy. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance during our entire stay which was disappointing as this was one of the reasons we chose to stay here. We did receive a room upgrade which was greatly appreciated.
