The food presentation is very good. A French restaurant and a molecular cuisine restaurant. Need to book in advance on weekends.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hotel Royal for her birthday weekend. We had heard great things about the resort, so had high expectations. We were not disappointed, and in fact I would say it’s one of the nicest hotels that I have stayed at anywhere in continental Europe. Much closer to Asian 5-star quality and service, rather than European in fact. The hotel itself has an aurora is history, but with a modern twist. Our room, which overlooked Lake Geneva, was impeccably appointed. The spa is truly world class (don’t miss the snow cave!). The breakfast each morning was exceptional. Dinner at Les Fresques was unforgettable. Finally, the level of service and attentiveness was second to none. We will definitely return.

This hotel is made for those who like good food, great views, and state of the art spa facilities. We celebrated our wedding anniversary here and could not be more pleased. The hotel is a perfect high-end establishment with perfect service and attention to detail. They even have shuttles that will drive you back-and-forth to Evian, the Lakeshore and the train station for additional activities. You can take a day trip across the lake to Switzerland. You can do a day trip up in the mountains with some beautiful hikes or you can just visit the historic Sparta town of Evian.

Because it is simply the best. Beautiful views, great food, fantastic experiences to explore the area in Summer and Winter. Excellent customer Service skills from all the staff. Michelin star restaurant. Topped off with a gorgeous spa and a relaxing massage ….

The room in Hotel Royal was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and amply appointed. I had a great view of Lac Le'man. There are extensive amenities at the Evian Resort that make the stay enjoyable and pleasant. The conditions, the staff, and the relaxing atmosphere were all superb.

A grande dame hotel. Excellent lake views from many rooms, and terrace. Indoor and outdoor tennis. Wonderful water facilities - indoor and outdoor pools, cold plunge and ice room etc. A surprising number of small children there when we visited. Hotel food did not live up to hype, including at the fanciest restaurant. Beautiful grounds. Wonderful proximity to the classical music in the forest.

Beautiful hotel for an amazing experience, staff went beyond the call of duty to accommodate us, I cant wait to go back. The spa is fantastic and the restaurant too. I went with my son and the staff was very kind to him and even brought him a surprise birthday gift in the room that he will never forget. Truly great

We had a great stay. The indoor pool and spa were incredible. Rooms,staff and food all first class. Everyone really made an effort to provide their best. Loved the overall atmosphere of such a grand hotel. Will try to come back again. Next time will tee it up.

Very pretty location and beautiful historic well renovated hotel. The hallway the ceilings and all is very pretty. Friendly staff. They have three restaurants, Les fresques was really good, it is next to the other restaurant ‘veranda’ which is more simple but nice (both have great wines-card). Strange somehow that the restaurants are openly connected to each other with their outside terraces, I would have separated it with plants to give bit more privacy. Breakfast has highly quality foods salmon, champagne great bakery. However no vegetables, cucumbers, raw tomatoes, peppers and avocados Room 112 with lake view and balcony was really nice. Good linens and bed and nice decorated. Overall at the hotel a lot of young children from baby’s to puberty who are very much occupying of course the swimming pool. At the garden it is more quiet at the sun beds. During our stay the hotel suffered a bit with too many wasps which is annoying during dining. )Bees are there as well which is nice ) At Saturday there was a very loud present wedding party which caused a lot of noise. I could not sleep for that reason until the music finally stopped at 03.30. That was as a very unpleasant experience which you would not expect in such hotel. This was so dissatisfying that I might consider not going back here. Unfortunate experience. Most guest stay here for 3/10 nights and wedding guests probably most of them don’t stay at all or only one night Not understanding the reason why this hotel accepts such parties which disturbs all other loyal guests.

Outstanding service, food, golf and spa facilities. Stunning location of Royal Hotel on Lake Geneva surrounded by French and Swiss Alps. A place to relax and return every year. Very friendly and helpful staff. Manicured grounds. Meals are outstanding whether dining in room or at one of the Evian Resort restaurants.

Exceptional! Facilities (spa facilities, state of the surroundings, flowers everywhere, clean comfortable room with lake view - top notch! Accommodating staff, great state of the art spa treatments, good options for in room service. The best part - facilities, views and service! Also, the hotel resort operates the complimentary shuttle within viccinity, including to CGN. We took a trip to Yvoire and highly recommend it!
