JI Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Airport)

I stayed here for a month while working at a nearby company, and it was a very comfortable experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of shopping malls nearby and a wide variety of food delivery options. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming; they always greeted guests, even when I returned late at night.

The staff provided excellent service! It's super close to Hongqiao Airport with very convenient transportation options, and they have parking. A truly great experience! Plus, the breakfast spread was extensive.

I couldn't fault either the hotel's ambiance or the service. We didn't encounter any common travel issues like poor soundproofing or leaks, which was a pleasant surprise. The self-service washing machines and dryers were also a great bonus.

The hotel is pretty nice. While the location isn't super close to a subway station, the family room was excellent, and the restaurant, room cleanliness, and service were all great. It's also a popular spot for local professionals to hold meetings and work, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. The views of planes taking off and landing at Hongqiao Airport are an added bonus.

Overall, it was okay. The hot water in the room was problematic, constantly fluctuating between cold and hot during showers, which needs investigation. The front desk staff demonstrated good service awareness. However, the housekeeping staff should be more mindful of their noise levels, especially given the poor sound insulation in the rooms. Additionally, the bath towels and hand towels in the room should be updated, and the floor cleanliness needs improvement. I gave an overall five-star rating primarily because of the low price and the commendable service attitude of the front desk staff, which is quite rare. One final suggestion: since the front desk is an open area, it needs to be kept tidier.
