Sofitel Shanghai North Bund Reviews

Staff were attentive and polite. Room was very clean. There was the usual wear and tear - minor. It’ll be fantastic if the orange and white stains in the shower and next to the bathtub were completely removed, but very minor as the bathroom was super clean. My room faced a construction site and the street. In the morning I could hear the noise from the site and honking from the cars. But a bonus is that I have a view of the tower! Location is not too far away from the Bund and the financial district - short taxi ride will get you everywhere you need. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Shanghai!

Very brand new hotel , good service and clean rooms One thing is the central air conditioning , quite warm at night . Which cant be fixed

Staffs are very accommodating especially when we arrived at the hotel . The chief concierge named Jerry who assisted us in all we need since we checked-in and we checked out.... most pf staff can understand english. So its not difficult to communicate. Room is really good and clean.

Had a great stay at Sofitel, Aida was very professional and all the staff is friendly and responsive, the bedroom was very clean and well decorated, with great attention to details. It always feels special when you go to Sofitel. Great way to recharge batteries and have an extraordinary experience every once in awhile. Location: The hotel is conveniently located just 5-10mn drive to the Bund. The lobby also feels cozy and I love the French touch Will definitely come back soon! Merci!

The hotel is stylish and very clean. The front office Mr. Hope is very helpful and friendly. He managed to assist us on early check-in and also extended our checkout time. The customer service and housekeeping are efficient too. The hotel room that we stay is spacious. Love this hotel very much, will definitely come back if we visit Shanghai again in future.

Very new and clean hotel. Many staff can speak English very well and very informative and helpful. The room was spacious and with nice view of the canal nearby, some of the room can see the Pearl Tower from the distance. We can also walk to Hongkou Gang area which is a scenic spot of the Pearl Tower. Highly recommended this place. Only minor points are that there are not many convenient store or restaurant nearby and a bit far from the subway station. But we used Didi (Taxi) instead.

The hotel staff are very warming in welcoming us and very helpful. They even gave us some recommendations on the places to visit and restaurants to try out local cuisine. The hotel room that we stayed was big and spacious. Recommended hotel for overseas travellers who are planning to come to Shanghai for sightseeing and eating.

Hotel location is 15min away from metro- you need to pass local hospital where the streets are packed. Also not directly at Bund. There is a big construction in front of the hotel. I am giving only 3 stars for cleanness as both me and my hubby were sneezing a lot while in the room, must have been dusty. Nice reception/food area.

Only good words about this hotel! It was definitely an end to end experience and it was the first hotel where we stayed and people were speaking a good english! All the best and keep up the good work! VERY VERY CLEAN!

Enjoyed our stay here. Facilities are immaculate, room was also v clean and new. Rosa and Jerry were fantastic, very responsive and happy to help whenever we had any questions. Would totally stay again. Thank you Jerry and Rosa!

The hotel is stylish and clean. The overall service is great, the customer service team and housekeeping have provided great assistance all through my stay, especially CS Elwyn who has made my trip a more pleasant one. For sure I would like to stay here again.

The hotel is absolutely amazing. Very new,stylish-you want to take a photo on every corner. Super friendly staff on the frontdesk-gave us an upgrade. We stayed in big nice room with a great city view. If I am in Shanghai I will definitely stay here again.
