De Palma Hotel Shah Alam Reviews

I recently stayed at De Palma Hotel Shah Alam for a business trip and found it convenient for exploring the city and attending nearby events. The location is excellent, with easy road access and a cluster of nearby shops, restaurants, and even a hospital within walking distance . The swimming pool is outdoors and pleasant, and parking is free—definitely a plus if you drive . The on-site restaurant served a decent variety, but I opted to explore nearby cafes instead. One minor issue: my room wasn’t ready when I arrived late, but the staff swiftly resolved it with minimal fuss .

Dah banyak kali stay sini. Semua request dapat👍 Breakfast sedap2 👍 Berhampiran kedai2, tak sunyi sgt just nice.

Parking mudah, tilam bantal sme best.. muslim frenly.. amenities pun lengkap..

Happy to stay here...celebration my husband birthday. Overall daftar masuk hotel cepat...layanan staf hotel baik & membantu sgt. Especially utk belian 1 slices kek dgn tulisan happy birthday utk suami. Parking utk OKU pun disediakan. Akan berkunjung lagi nnti...

The cleanliness was average. Sahur buffet also average. Have to pay so much for my kids but not so much choice for food. Not worth.

Affordable hotel and very convenient ❤️. Many shop and restaurant around the hotel with walking distance

Hotel room is not so clean but the price is reasonable. Front desk not so friendly. Location need to access by car.

Overall are good but the management should take care…some small aspects such as hole for running water in shower need to be clear… the water not run smooth because there are human hairs struct on the running water hole and some electronic socket unuseable…

The hotel is great. We stayed in room 505. However, the cleanliness of the room was appalling. The carpets have bits and pieces of crumbs, and behind the curtains there is some trash not fully cleared. The bed has strains of black hair, which does not belong to us (dyed hair). There were no towels available and only provided upon request. It seems though the room was cleaned in a rush. Mind you we checked in way late after 4 pm. Not all bad though, the breakfast makes up for all the complaints. Breakfast spread was good.

Rodents attacks on food placed on room table. Changed 2 times different room. Same rat and dusty. Worst hotel stay ever.

The room is spacious and reasonable price. My kids really love the pool with half of it covered by roof. So no worry for us especially during rainy season

Stay there for my convocation ceremony.. The location not so far from the event. Breakfast quite delicious and variety.. room is not so big but still nice.. Overall, I'm satisfied staying there with my family.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, my experience was below expectations. The air conditioner in the room was not working properly—it wasn’t cooling at all. I informed the staff about it, but when I returned later, the issue still hadn’t been fixed. Additionally, the iron in the room was not functioning. I called to request a replacement, but it took a very long time for it to be delivered, which was quite inconvenient. While the room was otherwise decent and the location was good, the lack of responsiveness from the staff and unresolved issues made the stay frustrating. I hope the management takes steps to improve their service and maintenance in the future.

Things to improve 1. The iron in my room is faulty, need to request for change. 2. We add bed but staff forgot to provide towel, when request, receptionist need time to process that their team made the mistake. 3. We found very big dead cockroach near to curtain upon checked in . 4. Our room face the hospital window directly. There is one big mirror next to bathroom opposite wardrobe and in line with the window where the light on top of the mirror cannot be turn off, unless your take out the power card. Practically you cannot open the curtain, where you have to pass the area during dressing/undressing, in/out bathroom, your movement gets highlighted through the window. 5. Rumbia staff seems tired and have little interest in their job.
