IBC Hotel Dongdaemun Reviews

Booked 2 rooms for a 2 nights stay during our March 2025 holiday to Korea. The room is big and clean. Buffet Breakfast is yummy and different menu each day. 7-11, a currency exchange ATM with good exchange rate at and around the lobby. A self service laundry and gym on level 2. The hotel is about 10 minutes plus walking distance to the subway. Bus 173 from the hotel goes to Dongdaemun Market which is a good choice of transportation. Will stay again for next year's trip. Good location near nummundong. Hotel near kesong canal. Near subway and many shop.

what can i say - the hotel is wonderful. firstly, i would like to express special gratitude to the hotel staff! the staff helped in all my unforeseen situations and did not abandon me in difficult times, always responded enthusiastically to any requests. the hotel itself is in a great location: next to the metro, to any attractions by bus 10-15 minutes. inside the hotel there is a machine for change money, which is very convenient. the hotel is clean, the rooms are standard, the breakfasts were quite full. thank you for your work!

When I make the booking I requested the high floor and away from the lift. I got low level floor and the room very close to my room. I think the hotel should care about what their guests want

nice hotel. I guess is a newly constructed one. The size of the rooms was just right. Could have been bigger though. Something like a sqm larger but was just OK. The room was tight and clean and a very polite service staff. The location is a bit far from the typical city center but well connected by bus or metro. Internet was up to speed too. Windows can be opened and a small fridge is installed too. Overall a good choice.

Location: near Sinseol-dong subway line, exit 10. If you are coming from Incheon, airport limousine bus 6002 goes direct to hotel, and walk 8 mns. The airport bus is 1h30 mns, so it's a pretty long ride. To goto Myeong dong (bus 421) & Dongdaemun (bus 173)... there is a direct bus 1 mn walk from hotel , very convenient. As well other buses to major attractions. Room: pretty big, housekeeping did a great job to keep it clean Breakfast : good varieties, strongly recommended since the restos around opens late. There is a great fried chicken resto on same street as hotel, and an excellent Korean restaurant on the Emart (big supermarket) 7 mns walknfrom hotel. Will Absolutely consider to come back.

It is great to live in this hotel!

I had such a great stay in IBC Hotel!! It’s my first time here traveling in Korea and the hotel is pretty good. The location might be not convenient to some people but for me it’s still worth the price. The bed is comfy and the room is nice, the bathroom is clean and they will provide a bottle of water everyday after the room service! ^^ The reception is really nice, I was afraid that they might not be able to understand my broken Korean yet the check-in still went pretty smooth ㅎㅎ I will surely have another stay at IBC Hotel if I had a chance in the future, it’s such a great experience with IBC Hotel! ^^ 정말 정말 감사합니다!! 고생 많이 했어요!! ＞＜

Room is clean, front desks are friendly, convenient for restaurant, taxi are accessible

Expected a lot further from the train station but it is not. V happy. Room is clean and spacious. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Korea. (10mins walk from Sinseoldong station)

Nice and comfort place to stay!

I very like this hotel

The front desk employees spoke broken English that was good enough to communicate, the room was clean and maintained well, and the location was about 10 minutes from a subway entrance. So the major sites where anywhere from 30 minutes to more with the subway. You need to download Naver Map on your phone which will make going around Seoul so much easier. The breakfast was ok, could have been better for the price I paid. Austin
