His deft touch secured us a splendid room upgrade, transforming our stay into something decidedly more opulent. The resort’s pool was a veritable aquatic kingdom, shimmering in the July sun, and an instant magnet for the children, who splashed and frolicked as though auditioning for an Olympic synchronized swimming squad. Though the siren call of the beach beckoned, we heeded the staff’s cautionary tale of marauding jellyfish. It turns out, we didn’t miss a thing—so beguiling were the pools, we scarcely gave the sea another thought. Breakfast each morning was a carnival of flavors, a sprawling buffet laden with enough options to make even the most decisive diner pause in awe. From delicate pastries to hearty local delicacies, it was a daily feast fit for emperors. Yet, as with any grand experience, there were minor discordant notes amid the symphony. A persistent flotilla of flies occasionally intruded upon our peace, a reminder that paradise is never entirely without its quirks. Likewise, room service proved leisurely in pace, as if our meals were being prepared on a distant mountaintop before descending ceremoniously to our door. For those who prefer culinary expedience, Grab delivery is a welcome alternative—just be prepared to part with a few extra ringgit for the privilege. Still, these were but tiny clouds in an otherwise brilliant sky. The staff’s warmth, the resort’s sprawling amenities, and the sheer joy on our children’s faces each day conspired to create an unforgettable family retreat. If you seek a place where your spirit can unfurl, where your children’s laughter will echo across sunlit terraces, and where hospitality is more than a gesture but a genuine art, look no further than DoubleTree by Hilton Damai Laut. "Cannot remember how many times we have repeat this hotel when going to Lumut. Location is strategic..breakfast got so many choices and delicious..view from our room also great..staff are also polite ang friendly..surely will repeat if we manage to come here again."

"The room is very humble but has the basic necessities such as body shower, air cond, towels etc but not toothbrush and knowing it is a budget hotel, then just acceptable. Not oku friendly as dont have lift. HOWEVER, the view in front of the hotel is INSANEEEE. Near the jetty for going to pangkor which is a pluss. Very worth the price! Shall book back if coming again"

"1st time trip to Pangkor. hubby loves fishing...so this Fish House is the most suitable place to stay. service is good. very friendly staffs. room...very very clean...clean balcony clean everything is super clean 👍👍👍 clean area...outside sitting area...eating area...all clean. room with balcony facing the water. will come back hubby said. "The rooms is very small and not suitable for family with small kids. Too many furniture that might nnot suitable with that space provided. Our second day was disaster as the lift was not working! Hoping the hotel would consider to give refund Imagine have to go up n down stairs with big luggage and kids. Not up to what i have paid for and there is no apologies from the hotel staff."

"Staying in Pangkor Laut Resort was truly memorable. The resort was well-maintained and beautifully landscaped. The combination of luxury and nature was what drew me to come here and spend a short weekend getaway. It offers a serene environment to relax on a private island and even take on a little adventure such as tracking through a rainforest. Overall I find Pangkor Laut Resort, a great place to unwind, destress and enjoy nature. If you are looking for extreme sports, crowds and a place to stimulate your senses, Pangkor Laut Resort is not for you. And that is why I love my stay here, nothing but a piece of paradise, calm surroundings and pampering oneself."

"Worth the price paid. Peacefull environment. Spacious room with sofa and kitchen. No amenities. Bring your own food or use foodpanda. Aircond was good. Heater was good. Easy check in like a minutes or two. Easy check out. Guard do monitor the guest car. Thumbs up! Will repeat in the future for short getaway."
