Holiday Inn Express Qingdao May Fourth Square Olympic Sailing Center Reviews

The hotel is conveniently located, clean and comfortable, has self-service laundry and is child-friendly. A refrigerator in the family room would be a plus. We chose to extend our stay, and it was the right decision. Thanks to Eva and Hailey at the front desk for their hospitality.

The hotel is located about 150m in front of exit D of Fushansuo metro station. You can easily see it upon exiting the station and looking on the right. The room is about the right size for a couple travelling together with comfortable bedding. It was clean and we felt at home away from home. Breakfast was local fare in which you can taste a bit of what the local people eat. A nice experience indeed. Surprisingly, you can get free beer at the lobby. The hotel is also near bus stops for you to travel to surrounding areas to have a better view of the places nearby. We would like to show our appreciation to the following personnel Mr Sunny for helping to make reservations for us to the Naval Museum, Ms Hailey for the quick check-in and other formalities and Mr Peter for giving us his suggestions on some local attractions. They together are the driving force and the face of the establishment. The best part of this hotel location is the proximity to the May Fourth Square and Olympic Sailing Centre where you can visit at night and view the amazing digital colour display on all the tall buildings. A must see. Strongly recommended for those intending to visit those places mentioned.

The front desk, Anna, Owen & another lady staff are excellent ( she didn't give her name but told me The two names only. I think she is a great staff leader training them ). While the other two front desk staff were registering me, Anna has printed a 3 days places of interest in Qingdao without me asking . The 3 days itineraries were very well organized of the metro station & exits number to the venue. The hotel is cleaned & well lit even along the room corridor which is very comfortable since many hotels have very dim light along the corridor. The location of the hotel is super, very near to the metro station, Fushashu. The hotel breakfast is very good especially the chef cooked on the spot for the Big prawn noddles & dumplings. The chef prepared tasty & varieties breakfast. The hotel provides self service for laundry & drying which is an added value. I would recommend Holiday Inn Express Qingdao to my family & friends who visit Qingdao.

Great location. Superb service. We are welcome by Sunny, he is very helpful. Also he gives us free upgrade room, considering our booked room is too small for us. Very thoughtful and generous. Amenities also great, have laundry room, free coffee machine.

Although I only stayed at this hotel for one night, it was a wonderful experience. First of all, the hotel is very close to the subway station. The staff were extremely enthusiastic Hailey and Koala kindly upgraded my room. The room was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. Lastly, after I checked out, I realized I had forgotten my power bank in the room. The hotel kept it safe for me until I returned to retrieve it, which made me very happy. If I have the chance to visit Qingdao again, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again.

The location was good and the staff were kind, but the hotel is not up to Holiday Inn standards. The room was a little dirty and untidy.

Nice hotel, near to the Qingdao Conference center and the yacht Harbour area. The rooms are clean and and air conditioning works well, during our stay here in the first week of July 2025. The breakfast is suitable for Chinese and foreign people. Employees from the service desk at the hotel can speak english to handle your needs during your time at the hotel.

It was nice stay. I only stay for 2 nights, and it is very joyful. the enetrance is little bit confused to find, but it is really close to the metro station. There is no refrigerator in room, but you can use one at the front desk. Every staff is kind, espcially thanks to Hailey.

The location of this hotel is excellent and easy to get around. The room is bright and clean, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the sleep is super peaceful. The service is warm and attentive, and the staff can respond to the needs in a timely manner. Breakfast is rich and delicious. High value for money, guests can enjoy a comfortable stay experience

The location of this hotel is excellent, just 300 meters to the left of Metro Line 2, making it easy to get around. The room was not big, but it was elegantly furnished and the bed was soft and comfortable, which gave me a good night's sleep. The service is thoughtful and intimate, and the staff is enthusiastic and responsive. Breakfast variety, both Chinese and Western, good taste. The facilities are complete, the overall cost performance is very high, highly recommended.

😍 Great hotel this time! As soon as you enter the lobby, you feel the warm atmosphere. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was clean. The facilities are full, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the bathrooms are very clean. The staff is super friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the hotel is highly cost-effective and worth recommending. 😘
