The stay at intercontinental in Qingdao was amazing. Fairy helped us check in and made sure we had the best stay. We had 2 rooms and both were upgraded to rooms with balcony, seaview and hottub on the balcony. It made our trip very special. The view from the balcony was fantastic, and really worth it!
Breakfast had a large selection of western and Chinese breakfast.
Overall a great stay with great services!

Water leaking in the room when raining , some of the furniture inside the room was damaged has no maintenance .

Very nice room! Beautiful view and it was nice to get an upgrade! The breakfast had great variety. There is also a nice rooftop bar at the time with a great view.

The location and the views are great. But the room’s AC didn’t work well. The furniture in the room is a little old, and there wasn’t a good choice of plugs for modern devices. I stayed in the Beijing branch and it was much better than this one.

Hanna helped us out tremendously with our stay at Intercontinental Qingdao! She made sure me and my family were super comfortable and content, and even brought us a bowl of fruit and a souvenir magnet! A++ for the amazing customer service.

We arrived at the hotel and was met with smiles and friendliness. Jessica was very helpful and kind and upgraded us to a room with ocean view. We arrived in the room to find the closet space to be under water. I went back to reception and met with Heidi. She was very kind as well and upgraded us to another room with a balcony and hot tub. It was the room I thought I’d originally booked. Now the room was amazing as well as the balcony. The hot tub however was a major let down as it does not work. We still enjoyed the water on the balcony with drinks though. The restaurant the next morning was a big let down. The food was amazing, but the environment was terrible. It was so hot in there and I could not enjoy my breakfast as I was sweating terribly. They did move us, but it was not any better. There was a few let downs, but overall we had a great stay and did not want to leave. Thank you to Jessica and Heidi for all the help and also a big thanks to our private butler( I do not know his name) He was fantastic as well!

Would usually give a perfect review for such a hotel, sadly the service was subpar. And a few really funny occasions, would not choose again for business trip though. Recommend for leisure trips

the hotel is very centrally located and close to key sites in Qingdao. The rooms are clean and big, with a great ocean view. The breakfast is amazing. The service is top notch and in line with what you would expect from an intercontinental. Special shout out to the manager Jennifer Han 韩雨欣 and 小王 from the Concierge for a pleasant stay.
