Very nice hotel and resort in the countryside. The hotel complex is located in a very beautiful, extensive, park-like landscape. There is a large beautiful swimming pool with plenty of sun loungers. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious. The hotel is highly recommended

We spent two nights here in June, the property was beautiful and well cared for, there were horses (which my wife loved to visit each morning with her coffee) and a wide variety of trees along the walking paths. Best of all was the food . . . the breakfast and multiple course dinners were the best. The chef was amazing, the entire staff, and Marco in particular, went out of their way to make sure all our wants and needs were quickly taken care of. We look forward to returning for a longer stay next year.

Beautiful estate in a quiet place but very close to all the most beautiful places and the sea. Excellent level of hospitality! The staff is numerous and very helpful. Palm trees, greenery and vast outdoor spaces embellish everything. The cuisine is excellent

We had lunch for Easter, a quiet and welcoming place, where you can combine outdoor walks and delicious dishes, and it is also possible to see horses and cows. Courteous and competent staff, managed excellently by the Maitre d'. The owner is extremely helpful and very close to customers' needs. I recommend Tenuta La Baronessa for any occasion...

Considering the summer temperature, I decided to book at this property for the first weekend of October with the intention of spending a day at the pool with my family as an alternative to the sea. I called on Tuesday the 3rd, three days before arrival, specifically asking if the pool could be used and the reception manager replied yes. On Saturday the 7th we arrived at the property and after paying and checking in we were told that the swimming pool was "closed". After a few minutes of confusion (we were already in our swimsuits), the manager with whom I had spoken on the phone arrived, telling us that the swimming pool could not be used due to a "sudden" fault that they had not been able to repair (cit. "today is Saturday and no one comes"). The alternative proposed was to go to the sea at one of their partner beaches. I don't manage a tourist facility but if I did, my first thought, in the event that a service such as the swimming pool were to be missing (whether it's July or October), would be to call the people who have booked a stay or at least inform them once you arrive at the facility... before paying. Given the state of the water similar to that of a pond it makes me think that the failure was not so "sudden" and that the pool has certainly been closed for more than three days... ruined weekend and terrible experience.

The estate is very large and is located in a quiet area a few kilometers from Gallipoli; convenient for reaching the main routes for a traveling holiday. The common areas are well kept, starting from the large gardens to the rooms and the swimming pool. Large swimming pool with small children's pool. Rooms more of form than substance. Those in the hotel are good, those in the Pajare are less refined and not perfectly maintained. Breakfast of good quality and assortment. Negative point is the service at breakfast and dinner. Slow, confusing and above all.... it is not possible to use staff who do not speak Italian and understand English badly and poorly... Much better are the girls at the reception who are available and courteous. Near the structure there is a riding school that offers the possibility of doing some horseback riding. I would say the structure is valid overall, excellent for those who want the possibility of getting around while avoiding the chaos of the coast.

The property is very beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The staff were absolutely friendly and efficient. Very rich breakfast which is appreciated for the many fresh local products. A short distance inland from Gallipoli, it is an excellent starting base for all excursions in Salento. As the only point of improvement I would suggest to vary more the a la carte menu of the internal restaurant.

My husband and I spent a week at Tenuta and had a wonderful time. If you want to relax away from the chaos of Gallipoli, Tenuta la Baronessa is the right place. Everyone works hard to make you feel at home: Mrs. Clelia, the guys at the reception, the waiters, the chef Leonardo Brescia who is always attentive and open to feedback from guests. In short, everyone! We were pampered. Beautiful and spacious room (we were in a standard suite). Excellent cleaning. Excellent aperitifs by the pool. In this oasis of peace an added value is certainly the presence of horses with which it is possible to go on a journey. The people who take care of it are wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Happened by chance, the place is very large and has a super swimming pool. The room was an entire and very large apartment... however, we had a broken door and no mosquito nets on the windows and doors. With the animals, the greenery and the swimming pool, the room was full of mosquitoes, flies and many insects. Very helpful staff at reception and around the facility... sore point: Breakfast not the best for those costs and full of flies. The experience of taking a walk on the educational farm among the various animals was wonderful even if they were "a little neglected". If you fix and improve certain things, it could become a super place. Good work

Beautiful structure surrounded by greenery and a few kilometers from the sea of ​​Gallipoli. We celebrated my husband's fortyth birthday. We didn't know it, but we were attracted by the room (we chose the fireplace room) and by the extremely kind staff. Mrs. Clelia is a true example of helpfulness and kindness (very sweet), not to mention Mrs. Antonella who took care of every little detail of our party, and the director who guided us in choosing the menu. The food was excellent and the dishes very well prepared. They left us space to dance with friends. Highly recommended

The stay at this property was a very pleasant surprise. It rarely happens that we are welcomed and pampered like this in facilities of this type. We went for a short holiday by identifying the structure on the internet, this often leads to surprises that are not always pleasant but on this occasion it turned out to be an extremely good choice. the facility had just opened and we were among the first guests. The welcome was splendid and everyone worked hard to make the stay pleasant. The feeling of peace and serenity that we felt has not yet abandoned us. Both the director Clelia and one of the managers Alessio always worked to facilitate our every request with an availability that at times embarrassed us because it was so profuse. The structure has splendid rooms...specifically we opted for a stay in an apartment created in particular structures that recall straw hays. The highly livable spaces allow for an extremely comfortable stay... immense gardens on the estate that are very well looked after. The presence of particular rose gardens, the stables, an internal riding school with an obstacle course for English riding, a truly complete life path... in short, we found too much. a particular mention to the director and Alessio who always proved to be ready with a sunny and helpful soul that allowed us to create a friendly relationship. Without a doubt it will be one of the destinations that cannot be missed for the next holidays

FRIENDLINESS, CLEANLINESS AND AVAILABILITY are the first three adjectives that I think of when I remember La Baronessa Resort... Structure surrounded by nature, complete with a view of the riding stables, capable of mixing the modernity of the rooms with hand-made frescoes in the main rooms.
