The attention to detail was amazing! One of the highlights was the beautiful surprise they prepared for my girlfriend’s birthday delicious cakes and a beautifully decorated room. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made the moment even more special. "Yangshuo Rice Fields Resort – immerse yourself in the karst landscape, truly feeling like you're 'in a painting'! This is the most stunning hotel I've ever stayed at in Yangshuo! It completely exceeded my expectations; I'm absolutely blown away and it's now officially TOP 1 on my 'must-stay in Yangshuo' list! Let me start with what impressed me most – the scenery. It truly brings the essence of Guilin's landscapes right into your daily life! The rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing you to lie in bed and gaze at the endless karst peaks, like having a giant landscape painting hanging above your head. Waking up each day felt like I was in a fairy tale. You absolutely *must* visit the rooftop infinity mirror pool photo spot. The blue sky and distant mountains reflect perfectly in the clear water. Standing beside it for photos, the breathtaking interplay of reality and reflection is simply stunning, and my social media friends immediately blew up my DMs asking for the location! And the infinity pool is absolutely incredible! The distant peaks reflect in the water, making you feel completely one with the landscape as you swim. Any photo you snap looks like a Bali-style resort spread, with the ambiance dialled all the way up – you don't even need to try hard to find a good angle. Next, let's talk about the service and attention to detail – the hotel even offers a free travel photography service! The photographer helps you find the best spots, guides your poses, and the resulting photos are super high-quality. You don't have to stress about getting the perfect shot yourself; you effortlessly get beautiful pictures with the stunning scenery. So thoughtful! The dining experience was another huge plus. Breakfast was sumptuous and fresh, and from 2 PM to 4 PM, there's a buffet afternoon tea. Sitting at the Cloud Café by the rice paddies, sipping coffee, feeling the breeze, and gazing at the fields and distant mountains, my whole body just relaxed. It was so idyllic I didn't want to leave. The location is also very convenient, with plenty of places to explore and eat nearby. The main thing is that it allows you to truly immerse yourself in the beauty of Yangshuo, no longer just 'admiring the scenery from afar,' but genuinely 'living within a painting.' Next time I visit Yangshuo, I'll definitely choose this place again!"

My family and I have just returned from a wonderful week at The Sugarhouse, and we are still overwhelmed by the warmth and genuine kindness of the entire experience. Traveling with a 6-month-old baby can be daunting, but the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. The efforts they made for our baby were incredible. The chef took special care to prepare unsalted meats, eggs, and vegetables for her, allowing us to customize her meals perfectly. This level of attention was a game-changer for us. The amenities were superb. We enjoyed the yoga classes (even with the baby in tow!), used the well-equipped gym, and loved relaxing by the pool. My massage was also absolutely amazing. A special thank you to the team for the gracious late checkout and the thoughtful goodbye gift—it was such a lovely touch that encapsulated their thoughtful service. The Sugarhouse has a magical aura that made our family time truly special. It is worth every single penny. "I really enjoyed my stay here, it is my second time in Yangshuo, and I highly recommend staying here over staying in the center. It's quite peaceful, with the scenery surrounded by water and mountains and just a few minutes away from the main attractions. We booked a suite on the second floor with bathtub, but upon arrival, we were offered an upgrade for what I can say is the best room I have ever stayed. The balcony view glazes over the green fields and mountains, we can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset from our room, and the view to the water is mesmerizing. The absolutely mind blowing aspect is the glass ceiling which uncovers to the pretty cloudless sky. This room includes a round bathtub which could fit two adults and a child, a tea ceremony set and a incredible private sauna. The mattress is comfortable and the room is quite clean. We were offered single use toilet and bathtub covers but I didn't felt the need to use them. The staff is kind and caring, and the breakfast is comforting and mild to the stomach, which is very important for us as we have been traveling for a few days already. I would definitely come back :)"

"🥳 Family, we made the right choice for the Yangshuo Freebird Hotel! It's right on the Yulong River, and the river view is visible as soon as we get off the car. I instantly understood the meaning of ”Freebird”—it's so relaxing! 😍 The floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are amazing. Even from bed, you can see the green mountains and clear waters, like you're in a painting. The small sofa by the window is also very comfortable. I enjoyed sipping tea, watching the bamboo rafts drift by, and just daydreaming. 🥰 I loved the terrace and pool! In the evening, I watched the sunset paint the mountains from the terrace, and the pool was surrounded by mountains. Swimming and looking at the bamboo, all the worries of work melted away. 😁 I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Yangshuo! If you're looking for a comfortable hotel, listen to me and choose this one! PS: The staff are really friendly! The hotel is super clean!"

Who understands! The hot tub on the balcony faces the bamboo forest. You can enjoy the scenery while taking a bath, just like an immortal! 🍽Food crit The goodnight dessert is super healing, and the Guilin rice noodles for breakfast are so delicious! The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make everything special—Nancy and Miss Xiaomao OK in particular were so kind and attentive. Whether you’re painting pottery with a mountain view or simply soaking in the serene atmosphere, there’s a peaceful charm here that’s hard to describe. It’s the perfect place to slow down and reconnect—with yourself and with nature. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Yangshuo!"

"We had Beer Fish and Stuffed Snails with Minced Pork for lunch at the guesthouse. In the evening, we went back to West Street to try a renowned Beer Fish restaurant. Not only were there heavy traffic and massive crowds, but the Beer Fish there was also significantly inferior to what we had at our guesthouse. The next day, we didn't hesitate to order lunch at the guesthouse again. Their Bamboo Tube Chicken was genuinely cooked in a real bamboo tube, unlike the ones you often find elsewhere that are just for show. Although the guesthouse's exterior might look a bit dated and can't quite compare to the sleek, newly opened high-end B&Bs, the service and the food are absolutely impeccable. They boast a swimming pool, horse stables, serene valley views, and a terrace perfect for stargazing. It truly embodies the comfortable, laid-back country life. A perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, ideal for unwinding and just kicking back. Upon departure, they even gave us brown sugar and chili sauce as a thoughtful farewell gift."

"This stay was fantastic! The front desk service was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the view from the bed was amazing. The breakfast was varied and the hotel had its own restaurant, which was affordable and delicious. The hotel also has a swimming pool, a pasture, a playground, a gym, and the rooftop Sky Lake offers great photos of the mountains and water. I could have stayed here all day with my kids. I would stay here again next time and highly recommend!"

It was essentially just pre-packaged food arranged on a plate. **Shuttle Service:** The complimentary shuttle service was a huge relief and much appreciated, especially given how challenging traffic in Yangshuo can be.
