3-Star Hotels in Porto

The overall experience is okay, and the price of the room is very cost-effective. The bed was very soft and comfortable. There is also a bar on the roof for tourists to relax and entertain. However, the humidity in the room is relatively high and I feel that the hotel’s dehumidification measures are not adequate.

The hotel location is very good. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are really nice. The hotel 's decoration is grand. Breakfast and the food is good. Everything is above my expectations. Although the room is not large, it's clean and decent. We are happy to stay in this hotel and would like to recommend it to others.

The hotel and the room are clean. There are shopping malls and theaters behind the main road. It is very convenient.

I stumbled upon this gem and I’m glad I did! Communication with the property managers was a breeze. I was traveling solo. I cannot begin to say how thankful am for all of the help I received during my stay. The staff delivered impeccable service. The whole team was amazing! Thank you to Francisco, he was my driver to and from the airport. Very professional. Luz is a doll! Very professional, thoughtful, and super efficient. Rita, Nuno, Paulo, and Rafaela also made this trip special for me. I received suggestions to restaurants, tours, and even had the convenience of booking through them! My apartment was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was quiet and conveniently located within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shopping, and historical places. There is a staff member available 24 hrs a day! Lastly, this trip was a birthday gift to myself. Upon returning to the apartment the staff had given me a birthday card! Having had to leave our previous 'hotel' as it was so horrendous we arrived here where we were greeted with very friendly staff and a warm lobby. They sorted us a room and must have given us a really nice room following our bad experience as we were on the 6th floor at the back with a lovely view of the city. The room itself was really quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable. We slept so well! There was a TV, free wifi, AC/heating and a really nice bathroom. The bar/room service menus were reasonably priced and the staff had great knowledge of the city. The hotel itself is about a 5/10 minute walk from the main station you arrive in to from the airport which was really handy for our early journey on our final day. Would stay here again if I went back to Porto!

The location is invincible. It’s close to everywhere. The rooms are remodeled in the old house. I don’t like it very much, but the sanitation of the rooms is okay. The hotel staff are very warm and friendly. I will definitely say hello when I see them, and I will explain to you if you ask some questions. Clearly, breakfast is not bad, generally simple breakfast in Europe is worth the price.

I moved to this property after staying two nights at the much more highly rated (not my opinion), Hilton Se Cathedral (review posted) and am so glad I did. For 165 euros, 81 euros less than the Hilton, I had a fabulous experience. This property is on a quiet street in the city centre. There is very little car traffic because the street is closed to traffic in the next block. My room was comfortable with a nice bed, walk in shower and TV with many channels in English. I am Platinum Elite with IHG and was fortunate to have a top floor room with a balcony that was as large my room and had stunning views of Porto. I slept with the balcony door open both nights and it was amazingly quiet. The staff was fine and allowed me an early checkin. Restaurants, and stores abound and is not quite as touristy as by the water about .05 mile away . Metro two blocks away easy to get to Campahana Train Station. Breakfast was more than adequate with many choices. Hot dishes were limited to eggs and bacon. One dining recommendation, also about .04 mile away, Dana Pe, De Cobra. So good I ate there twice. Arriving slightly early we were very pleased to be able to check into our room. The lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely and it was a very smooth process. We were overall happy with our room. It was usual ibis style which was fine for our short 4 night stay. Some of the walls could be done with a refresh but generally very clean. Our room was quiet and had towels refreshed every day. I was very impressed with the hairdryer mounted in the bathroom. Usually these are not the best but this one was exceptional. Very happy. Breakfast was great and had just a perfect selection to start our day. Great location and very walkable around the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Reasonably priced hotel a short walk away from all the sights of Porto. No-frills but has everything you need - nice clean room, air conditioning, comfortable bed. A bottle of drinking water is refreshed every day which is very welcome. Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Staff were very busy as the hotel was full but everyone was very helpful and pleasant. A special thank you to Maria on the front desk who confirmed our taxi transfer to the airport and provided us with breakfast boxes for the journey because we left before the restaurant opened.

Centeally located unique accommodations close to everything. #2 is the size of a good studio and has just about everything you need. It does lack a closet area so I had to improvise using a shelf and two chairs for my clothes. I made do. The breakfast was jist right and fresh. The coffee was delicious. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was easy access with a key code. A few things to note besides the closet. There are no blackout shades. There are shutters and they do let in a little light. Also, the laundry is not on sight, however, the laundrymat is near. About 4 blocks. As others have mentioned the noise can be an issue. It quiets down at night but intermittently there and it is at the mouth of a tunnel so at times amplifies! No napsduring the day, unless noise does not bother you. That is an unfortunate downside because it really is a darling place.
