It's really the best... First of all, it's just the best. The location is close to the subway station and the supermarket, and I can feel that they put a lot of thought into the interior of the room. There's also an elevator, so I could easily move my luggage. The service is also hotel-level. They cleaned the room, provided water and towels, and prepared a welcome drink. The heater was on so I stayed warm, and they even helped me with the laundry. They even distributed white and black clothes. I was very impressed, the owner was very kind and spoke English. If possible, if you go to Porto, be sure to stay here!

Impeccable stay at Utopian Hotels. From the second you walk in, you feel like you’re home. The Hotel and Rooms Utopian is located in a beautifully restored Portuguese home that still has some of its most beautiful original elements. The hotel is filled with beautiful artisanal furniture and a great selection of art and photography. The rooms are cozy and have all the amenities you need for a trip in Porto. Every detail was thought of. The rooms all have a FREE minibar filled with snacks and drinks for their guests to enjoy - such a treat - and the common area has a beautiful coffee machine with games and books to enjoy. Great Location Ideally located a short walk away from all the best restaurants and boutiques in Porto in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood, making you feel like a local! This place feels like a hidden gem and made my trip to Porto perfect.

It's a very nice hotel. It provides breakfast with a variety of varieties. The grandma in the restaurant is very kind. She especially likes the croissants from Monday to Wednesday. It is the best I have ever eaten. Please note that it is not the small croissant coated with sugar on the outside. In addition, if friends who like pizza go to the local area, they must try the pizza there. At that time, I just wanted to finish it quickly and continue to open the map, so I randomly found a restaurant and ordered the Oporto Bella Margheritta, which is about 10 euros and 12 inches. The location is invincible. It’s close to everywhere. The rooms are remodeled in the old house. I don’t like it very much, but the sanitation of the rooms is okay. The hotel staff are very warm and friendly. I will definitely say hello when I see them, and I will explain to you if you ask some questions. Clearly, breakfast is not bad, generally simple breakfast in Europe is worth the price.

I stayed at The Gate in Porto for two nights. It's in a great location, the staff is friendly and helpful and the facility is sparkling clean and comfortable. I even had a little Juliet balcony to enjoy a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. It's close to the train station and easy to hail cabs and just walk around and explore.

What a great place. Very comfortable. Yes there are stairs - we were on the top floor but Porto is hilly so you are well trained! We had two nights in a twin room. Comfy beds, very clean and quiet. The only downside for two friends was that there was limited privacy in the bathroom! Not terrible but could challenge some! The staff were a delight with heaps of tips. There is free cake and cookies in the afternoon, port to taste and tea and coffee machines on every floor. The breakfast is incredible- you can pick from so many things and it is all brought to your room on a trolley. The location is also great. A delightful hotel to stay in.

My fiance and I stayed here for our last few nights in Porto and we wish we had been here the entire time. We had originally booked an airbnb on the river that was dirty and loud and booked at Prim&Proper at 11pm our first night in a panic because we were so miserable. When we got to Prim&Proper, we were so relieved. Quiet, clean, and easily walkable to the main tourist stuff without being in the madness, the real thing that stands out about Prim&Proper are the staff. Marta, Lionel, Susie, Darlene and everyone else were so welcoming and so, so incredibly kind and helpful. We told Marta we were visiting and the next day she had printed off suggestions and gave us a map of Porto to help guide us on our way. On our last night, my fiance hurt his stomach (he has a recurring ulcer) and Lionel and the staff came to the rescue, first giving me directions to the grocery store, and then letting me borrow the kitchen kettle & a bowl to make plain porridge to help settle his stomach. The next day, Susie let me take his breakfast up to the room so he could sleep in. We are so incredibly grateful to how kind and helpful everyone is. Also, the breakfast & welcome drink wine were EXCELLENT! Probably the best breakfast I've had in a while and definitely the best of our trip. Can't stress enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The balcony with the garden view is gorgeous and the rooms are modern and spacious. The bathtub was really nice after a long day of walking up and down a million stairs. It was easy to get to everything and the staff really made the experience. Thank you again, from Becca & David! We appreciate you all! A time capsule style of hotel with retro style of kitchen and various objects etc. Reception and checking in was ok. The lady at the desk was fun and comical which was really nice for the two of us as we had a long trip down to Porto. The room is like a flat. Space was very good and the beds were comfortable and well kept. The sofa and other home furnishings were also kept to a very good standard even though again some of the furnishing were from the 60s and older but added a nice touch. Bathroom was very good and easy to use. The receptionist who showed us to our flat explained how to use everything in the flat including the shower and kitchen. Air conditioning was good also and kept us comfortable during our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Good to reach via. Underground also to here.
