Find Bed and breakfasts in Porto

We have just completed two nights at Turista Trinidade. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean, lovely comfortable bed and fantastically powerful shower (almost too powerful… on full power it blew itself out of the holder! 😂) The communication with the host was spot on. Access via a code was easy and reliable and they arranged an airport transfer for a very reasonable price. The room is a little out of the centre, uphill, so this should be kept in mind for anyone with mobility issues but for us we just saw it as an opportunity to burn a few extra calories and indulge in more sangria / Franceshina sandwiches! Would definitely stay again

This lovely guesthouse is in a perfect location in Porto right near the river and handy to lots of cafes and restaurants. The staff are what makes this place. Luis, Philip, Ogle and Luisa. They are all wonderful, but we mostly spent our breakfasts with Luis and it was always lovely chatting to him. We enjoyed the beautifully prepared daily breakfast - the nicest fruit platter ever each day and you could also order eggs the day before and the omelettes were delicious too! I miss seeing Luis' cheery face at breakfast now we are home - no fruit platter, juice, eggs waiting for us when we get out of bed! Porto is a lovely city. The people are genuinely nice. Tips for eating - the restaurants on the river charge about twice the price than the ones up the hill or across the river in Gaia, naturally because you have a very nice view. If you walkup the hill to R Das Floras there are some nice restaurants up there, and in that general vicinity. They have some nice cocktails in Porto - one using Port and Tonic and one using Limoncello and Tonic. Nice with ice and fresh slice or orange or lemon. We would definitely stay at this property again. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The style is retro, but with touches of modernity, I found it aestheticly nice. As the lift is not a little uncomfortable for the baggage. The staff were very friendly and friendly 😀 The triple room was quite date and not very spacious. The air conditioner was a little complicated to light (the remote control had no batteries compartment. The batteries were kept with scotch 😅). The small but functional bathroom. The washing machine was lost and I personally had difficulty washing because the spoon shower sets consist of 10ml bags each.... You should buy a spoon shower. I found it very good! There were traditional and handicrafted sweets, not the usual packed things. And always supplied. We personally did not enjoy their parking because on the front road, even 100 metres I believe, we found non-payment parking. I see many free parkings in the area 😁 as others say is very comfortable with the metro stop.

Casa Do Conto If you enjoy the finer things in life, have style and appreciate the best customer service and a personal approach this hotel is for you. The styling of the interior in this hotel is just breathtaking and in my opinion I think it would be difficult for anyone to disagree. The furniture in the breakfast area and the lounge, as well as the bedrooms is worthy of a Centre spread in a home magazine. Sometimes I didn’t want to leave to enjoy the City. Breakfast is amazing at Casa Do Conto. Simple, elegant but plentiful and all presented like it was fit for a King. The staff will happily cook your eggs exactly as you wish to order and mine tasted great everyday. Homemade ‘daily’ changeable items made each breakfast that little bit different and exciting. The staff. Well. They really do bring Casa Do Conto alive. Everyone working here is so lovely and helpful and they really did make us feel special. Super helpful with local knowledge and recommendations and always with a genuine smile. Other reports say a Nespresso machine would be good in the room and I agree but I did notice one in the lounge too and to be honest it made me get down into the beautiful room with the very tasteful music playing at breakfast that little bit earlier. Location we thought was perfect. Out of the hustle and bustle but a short enough walk to the Centre. We tried to mix up the walk to and from the hotel by taking different routes. And finally. The Sister hotel ‘Tipografia Do Conto’ that you have access to is just as wonderful. Bit more hip with a bar but a must see if you stay here. Even to be nosey. We had a few drinks late evening in the garden and was most pleasurable. Staff equally good as Conto. I could live in Casa Do Conto

Location was perfect, far enough away from the busy city centre but still convenient for cool bars, restaurants etc. Our room was perfect, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and private access to the gorgeous garden. Staff couldn't be more helpful with advice of where to visit in and around Porto. Sara in particular was delightful - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the most delicious omelettes in the morning! The restaurant food was amazing, we ate there twice during our stay for dinner. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto.
