The food in the hotel's bar is very good. The room is not very big, but the view and overall facilities are okay. It is between 4 and 5 stars. The only problem was that they forgot to clean our room, even though we didn't go out in the afternoon, they still forgot after reminding the hotel that it could be cleaned. Breakfast is relatively excellent. You cannot hail a taxi at the hotel entrance, but you can walk 2 minutes to the alley entrance to hail a taxi.

OK so we arrived very early and the whole of the front and one side of the hotel is surrounded by construction for the new metro. I really feel for the staff but they were handling it well. We did have to wait a long time to check in but that was because they wanted to give us a room away from the building work. The junior suite was great and the welcome was fab. Breakfast was stunning and the staff were adorable.

The room was big and clean got everything. The hotel staff are professional very helpful Breakfast 17eouro if u dont book in advance if u did 12 . The location is ok because the taxies are affordable to the old city 7 eour Few restaurants around the hotel the closest are 2 sea food and another one. And one coffee place to have sweets or simple bite to eat lebon cafeteria. Not alot in the area to see.. still I got in 30 m from the airport with a taxi 25 euro make. sure it's this hotel because thier is 5 star same name hotel close by. safe place and not noisy..

Very good hotel, the guy at the front desk answered questions patiently and lent me multiple adapter charging cables. The hotel is in a good location, there are clothing and bag stores and bus stops within walking distance. It's a pity that I didn't have time to go shopping because of the rush. I will come again next time

Just perfect, from arrival to leaving. Perfect location , very clean. The concrete spacious and comfortable. Dyson hairdryer was a lovely addition. Great bar and snacks. The breakfast was simply amazing with lots of choice. The Portuguese tarts best we have ever tasted and freshly made daily. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel, it used to be a palace. The room has got to be one of the prettiest rooms i have seen, very well designed and the archtecture is amazing. Bathroom is also stunning, everything is not only beautiful and fancy but very comfortable and very good quality. Breakfast has a ton of options for fruits, juices, cakes eggs etc. The pool and SPA are also amazing, with a dry sauna and a turkish sauna, everything you could need like snacks and refreshments in the pool area are also provided at no aditional cost. Would definetly come back.

This is a truly fine hotel in the old style in central Porto. Quiet, very helpful staff, comfortable rooms. Our first inkling that this was going to be a great experience was when a young man whisked our considerable luggage (we had been on shipboard crossing of the Atlantic) and into the lobby. He offered us water or Port wine while we registered. Two minutes later we were in our room. The hotel has a nice bar outside for the afternoon refreshment and is only a five-minute walk from the famous market with all its food and beverage attractions. Excellent.

The location of the hotel and the orientation of our room are very good. The staff are also very professional. You can reach most of the tourist areas on foot. You can experience many well-reviewed restaurants in the surrounding area. However, because the building itself is quite historical, the internal public area corridors are long and narrow. It is recommended to stay.

Hotel is easy to reach as it is very close to Trindade Train Station. It is just a few minutes walk from the station. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. It’s still early to check in but they offer to keep our luggage so we can have a tour before checking in. Most of the interesting places that we want to visit are all within a walking distance from the hotel. It’s in the city center and looking for food is not a problem at all. We had a wonderful time in Porto and really recommend this hotel.
