Narimba Motel Reviews

This small motel was a really pleasant surprise. Spotlessly clean with everyrhing you might expect, with a few thoughtful extras. Real coffee and a plunger! Snacks! Pets welcome and a lovely small park at the end of the street to walk dogs with views of the pretty river and the little car ferry. I had a terrific night's sleep here and would recommend it as a stop over. For me it was halfway between Byron Bay and Sydney.

I found that the problem with a motel being “pet friendly” is that it wasn’t human friendly. This very small motel with an unattended Reception throughout my stay had several dogs with guests, two of them were large dogs. One dog was continually barking at my door. As far as building presentation, there seems to be minimal sound proofing. Also my screen door was completely broken and the flyscreen torn. The airconditioning didn’t seem to be functioning well, one large mirror became complely steamed up overnight. The room itself was tiny, the bed occupying the whole space. The bathroom had a ceiling to floor window which had a torn blind. There is barely room to sit on the toilet, my knees touching the opposite wall!!! Despite these detractions, there was some good presentation as can be seen in the arttached photo.

Great little motel. Room (3) was very small but spotless with everything we needed. Beds were comfy, nice linen. Pet friendly. Plenty of grass areas nearby and even though all the other guests also had dogs, really quiet. Special thanks to the hosts, I left behind a gift I'd bought for a family member and they rang to let me know, and then went the extra mile to post it home for me to save me going back for it.

Nice own access to the room with a tea corner. Parking infront of the room. The room was a bit small, indeed had absolutely everything you need as refrigerator, A/C, TV, teapot, hairdryer etc. Good for a stopover if you're going from Sydney to Brisbane and vice versa. Some complementory snacks in the room. Self check-in available with an access-code. Interesting to observe some rainbow lorikeets on the trees around. Disliked · No sidetables near the bed, so you can put your devices. Maybe it was a bit overpriced in comparison what you can get elsewhere.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here with our little old dog (who is like our child). Lisa and Wayne were so welcoming and lovely and our little man was very welcome. We stayed in the room with the little private deck and it was very clean and comfortable with modern furnishings in a relaxed atmosphere. The motel is only a few km away from nice restaurants, cafes and CBD, and there are also some clubs and eateries in walking distance. We highly recommend the Narimba motel (with or without pets) and we will definitely be back.

The motel is out of town but is in a quiet location. The room was comfortable - we booked the river view room knowing it was a little smaller than the other rooms. The motel is very welcoming to dogs and our little guy was right at home. It was an extremely wet Thursday and the managers had no problems with the little guy. Bed was comfortable shower was warm with good water pressure. We were made to feel very welcome.
