BEWARE OF BED BUGS! We booked this hotel to stay near legoland during my son’s birthday celebration. I specifically looked for newer hotel, because it was special day and we want everything to be perfect. So we were very excited! Not for long… First, when we arrived around 5pm it was no one at the reception… weird… We had to look around for about 10 min before someone appeared. We wanted to got to the park before it closed to see the light show. So we just dropped our bags and went out of the room. We came back few hours later and was getting ready to go to sleep. During that time my 6yo birthday boy was laying on the bed watching cartoons🤦🏼♀️ When everybody took showers and we laid down my husband noticed a small bug on the bed. He didn’t think much into it since we never ever saw the bed bugs! He just thought it like a fly or something. Then I noticed couple of bugs on the bed where my son was! I picked one with piece of paper and squeezed it. To my surprise it popped with BLOOD! Then I found more and more of them! We googled the picture of bed bugs and it was it! Lots of them! We contacted reception right the way and asked manager to come, but no manager was there. The guy from reception came and agreed that it’s bed bugs indeed and moved us to a different room far from this one. The new room was filthy, dirty night stands and floors, doors had fingerprints all over. We were in shock and it was late so we didn’t have an energy to fight. Next morning (Monday) I asked for manager again. No manager. I asked to be contacted immediately! Few hours later the manager Memet Patidar called and it went to voicemail, when I called back - he already left… I asked to call me again next day and I’m still waiting for that call… So now I am afraid that we brought some home! We also couldn’t sleep that night and my son was so scared of the bugs! Ruined birthday for my boy😭 Of course we couldn’t enjoy the park next day at full force because of tiredness and overall distress. We traveled the world, stayed in poor regions of Asia but I’ve never seen bed bugs in hotel rooms! You don’t expect to see them at the chain hotel that recently opened! Gross! And now we literally scared for life. So think twice before bringing your family to this hotel.

My sister and I went to visit my aunt that has dementia. We were very impressed with the cleanness and the excellent customer service. The kitchen lady was awesome and complimented us and the front desk person called and set me up on the awards program. It was a wonderful experience. Thank all of the workers at the best western in winter haven.

The hotel is very new. The room is large and clean. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Legoland. The service is also very good. Free parking and free luggage storage are also available. Recommended to stay

15 minutes walk from Legoland and 2 minutes drive. There are many food nearby. There is also a large supermarket nearby, which is a few minutes drive away. The room is very clean. Highly recommended. Free upgrade to 12 o'clock check-out. Wi-Fi is much faster than other hotels
