Our time at Green Hills Yoga Retreat was deeply nourishing. We took part in the Sound Bowl Healing Course, which was not only beautifully structured but held with such heart and clarity. Rajesh, our teacher, was an absolute joy. Kind, patient, and full of quiet wisdom. His teaching style made everything feel accessible and deeply resonant. The retreat space itself is peaceful and held in nature, creating the perfect container for rest and learning. Beyond the course, the team also helped us arrange an unforgettable trip to Mustang, which was organized with care and attention. We’re so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine healing, soulful learning, and beautiful community.

I came back to this place during my time in Nepal because I liked it so much. The house is nested in the calm and peacefull hills right outside of pokhara so it is still very easy to go down there for a coffee in the afternoon. Food at Green Hills is excellent and so is the yoga. I felt so good and grounded after 4 days staying there. Namaste

Greenhills is a wonderful place to experience yoga. We had an amazing one week yoga and meditation retreat and Greenhills provided a calm and tranquil space for our practise. Ishwar and his staff were all very welcoming and looked after us very well. Would recommend this place for yoga, and meditation enthusiasts who are keen to let go of busy life and immerse themselves in a slower and more relaxed pace.

I’ve never been to a yoga class before, but I enjoyed every session. The staff and teachers are very patient with a beginner. I particularly liked Sound Healing. Food is nutritious and tasty. Also an awesome Ayurveda massage. Great value too.

Green Hills Yoga retreat is an amazing place to go! Great view of Pokhara and the lake, surrounded by lovely green forest, all the staff is very friendly and caring! The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The food is delicous, there are also very yummy gluten free meals available. The Yoga teachers are very professional and I got to learn a lot. Very special was that we even did some organized group activities like a sunrise hike or a walk to a beautiful waterfall. So I really have no complaints at all! My time there was absolutely perfect. I'd love to come back! Thank you to everyone :)

I have practiced yoga alone in my living room for a long time, but this was my first yoga retreat. When my body decided that a trek was not in the cards for me, green hills found a space for my mother and I to join them a day after I called, which required making arrangements with the lovely hotel next door to host us. The program consisted of morning yeti bowl nasal cleansing (something I was quite skeptical of and enjoyed immensely), a gentle morning yoga practice, 3 delicious and healthy vegetarian meals, an afternoon sound healing session, a more challenging evening yoga session, a nighttime meditation (or mantra chanting and dancing) and optional additional services, such as hikes and massages (for a little extra on the massages). I live as far as humanly possible from Nepal, but it is still cheaper to fly there for this experience than it would be to do something similar at home. I had never experienced sound healing before and absolutely fell in love with it. The yogis were all deeply spiritual and completely non judgemental people who were a delight to learn from. The down to earth, diverse collection of other travelers from all over the world became an instant family. My mother and I soaked up the calm, healing environment. I recovered from my illness there faster than I thought possible and left with a renewed desire to expand my personal yoga practice beyond a physical fitness challenge to incorporate my own sense of spirituality, to reach out to establish connections with other yoga practitioners in my community, and to learn how to play the singing bowls to bring the beautiful benefits of sound healing to my family. All in all it was a transformative experience for me and one I am deeply grateful for. There is not a single thing I would change about the experience and I certainly hope to return someday, preferably to share this treasure with some of my other loved ones that could benefit from it as well.

I've had a really nice time at green hills. The guys that teach the yoga are all super nice. They took us the the temple on shivaratri which was a cool experience and something extra. The teachers have a lot of knowledge and know what they are doing. The food is good and breakfast is a real surprise every day. The rooms are comfortable, have a place for your stuff and the showers have good pressure and warm water. If you're there, don't miss out on a great massage. She is very skilled and will get to every spot.

I stayed at green hills for 5 days and I enjoyed it so much! When I arrived I directly felt at home, everyone is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable, I slept really good every night. The food was delicious and something different everyday which was great. Furthermore, I joined the daily yoga sessions and sound healing session and it was wonderful. I was a beginner and therefore a bit nervous in the beginning but the yoga teachers were really kind and made me feel totally at ease. The retreat is also located in a great spot. It’s a bit up the hill so it has a gorgeous view on the lake and it’s a nice walk to lakeside in Pokhara. My days here went by so fast and I cannot recommend staying here enough!!

We had such a wonderful stay here. Very heartly welcome, the room was absolutely clean and seemed to be very new. The different yoga and meditation sessions were really relaxing and healing. And the food was absolutely delicious! I wish, we would have had more time, and stayed longer. Absolutely recommend!!

The energy in Greenhills is AMAZING. Words cannot describe how wonderful this retreat is. You need to go and experience it for yourself. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed in like one of the family. My dietary needs were catered for and every day the chef whipped up the most delicious, nourishing meals using organic homegrown veggies from their own garden. I still miss the food now! The accommodation was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Nice private bathroom and big balcony with stunning views overlooking the hillside and Fewa lake. The hillside is also so magical! So many beautiful trails to follow with hundreds of butterflies all around! The yoga is perfect for either beginner of more advanced practitioners. The teachers are amazing. The sound baths and night time candle gazing meditations were very powerful too. I left feeling deeply nourished, rejuvenated and energised. Thank you thank you Ishwor and family!

Quite and charming retreat center in the hills. Come here if you want a beautiful view of the lake and mountains, good yoga classes, and the best sound healing experience. The facility is well kept and clean. The staff were all kind and pleasant. The meals were all home made and they were delicious and the cooks were so kind. I would stay here again, just maybe not during the winter since for me I felt it was a little cold and I like to be warm. Met other travelers too and wish I could have stayed a little longer.

This place will forever be one of my favorite sanctuaries in the world. I had the pleasure of staying at the guest house for 2 weeks and I LOVED it! - The family that runs this place is just the best. They're hospitable, attentive, warm-hearted and dedicated. Shoutout to Ishwor, who really puts his all into this retreat and never fails to bring his wonderful energy along with him everywhere he goes. - The food is organic, farm-to-table, and absolutely delicious. I literally had a wide range of vegetables growing right outside my door. Sunil is the best chef, thank you mero sathi. - Every day on my way to the kitchen, I was taken aback by the spectacular view of the valley and the ever-changing sky. Never the same sky twice. - The yoga studio is one of the best I've seen in Pokhara. I completed my Level 1 Sound Healing course there and wouldn't have had it any other way. In that studio I also attended several yoga classes, a sound healing session, a cacao ceremony, and more—all of which were so special. Thank. you Abhi for the loveliest morning yoga sessions! - The activities that I got to enjoy during my stay were truly unforgettable! We did a blindfolded sunrise hike (yes, you read that right), and we did a short weekend trek to Panchase. The nature, the peace, the beauty, and of course the company, will live in my heart forever. - I also got one of the best Nepali Ayurvedic massages during my stay there. I highly recommend the masseuse they work with. - The little studio I lived in really became my home for those 2 weeks. I was working remotely and the wifi was always great (best wifi quality and speed I found in pokhara), and the space, designed by Ishwor himself, is both beautiful and cozy. I will never forget the beautiful feeling of opening my eyes every morning and seeing the view of those luscious green hills outside my window. - Not to mention the nature walks!!! Right outside the retreat is a 45 minute hike to the top of Methlang, and the main lakeside road is a short 15 minute hike down through a beautiful forest. What more could I ask for? - Finally, the people I met during my stay here became good friends that I'll truly never forget. Thank you so much for giving me such a special 2 weeks in Sedi heights. This was my first time at Green Hills Yoga Retreat but it definitely won't be my last. Until next time!

Such a warm and lovely place to relax during your vacation. Super friendly and helpful staff, great food, calm surroundings. They helped us in planning the trekking tour, organized the washing service for us and made us feel like home in a welcoming family. We really enjoyed our stay there - highly recommend!
