Sunwing Kamala Beach Reviews

I was an wonderful hoilday in Sunwing Kamala Beach. Although the facilities are a bit old, the environment is nice and natural around the hotel. We felt relaxing. Staff are nice especially Peter John Paul Cacar, the Reservation Supervisor helped me a lot and I had good arrangement as my filght had been delayed by typhoon issue. I look forward to stay again.

We loved this place so much specially for families have kids. It’s a big hotel with a great breakfast buffet, has everything you need for the breakfast. Have two restaurants a la Carte one is at the breakfast place and the other one is near the Kamala beach. The good thing is if you order your food the kids eat free of charge by selecting from kids menu. All the amenities from the room is all you need. The room is big enough for the kids, the beds are so good, cleaning is 95%. Have some insects like cockroaches small ones. They program of activities you can follow if have time. The staffs are super nice and helpful. Near hotel have some local market selling souvenirs, drinks. Phuket Fantasea is just crossing the road walking 6 mins from the hotel. In general we loved it and if have the chance we will select the same hotel.

The facilities are fantastic, our children have a wonderful experience swimming and playing. The toilet is not very clean but it's acceptable.

A lovely resort for both younger and older children. The children loved the kids’ and teenagers’ lounge. The pools are amazing, and they especially enjoyed the slides. The food at Som’s Kitchen was excellent; we loved the curries and Pad Thais. The strawberry daiquiri is a must! Staff were friendly and greeted our children by name. Our only regret was not staying longer. The beach was clean, and we enjoyed swimming there. Well done Kamala Sunwing!

Great for family with kids under 13 yrs. Close to beach and many restaurants, big variety on food choices. Safe and clean hotel with freindly staff. Very good breakfast too, a must try!

One of the hotels me and my family are happy to return to, all the staff are welcoming and very effective, the pools are warm, the food is delicious and the animators are great❤️ what else do you need from a vocation with children😊

Best resort for families with kids club , many spacious pools and Kamala beach just at the back yard !

My daughter and I had an incredible 6-day stay at Sunwing Kamala, and it was all thanks to the amazing staff who made our experience unforgettable. Special thanks to Montri and Sateens at the front desk, who went above and beyond by offering us a stroller and assisting with a room upgrade. Yuyah Mon and Myra at the kids’ club were fantastic—they not only took excellent care of my 4-year-old daughter but also remembered each child’s name and preferences. My daughter absolutely loved spending time at the kids’ club every day, and she misses them so much now that we’re back home. The swimming pool bar staff were equally wonderful, always greeting me with a smile and remembering my drink preferences, making every moment by the pool relaxing and enjoyable. Even the bellboy who assisted us was a delight, greeting us warmly every time he passed by. This team truly made us feel at home with their kindness and care, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Sunwing Kamala for families looking for a warm, welcoming, and relaxing vacation!

Nice hotel for families especially with kids. Right next to the beach and lots of stores are just 5 minutes away

Excellent place where quiet in Phuket ! The beach is beautiful! You can have horse riding just at the beach! The food was nice near the hotel! We even saw fireworks at night ! Excellent ! Must come back

Overall: It is a budget hotel but it offers great value for what you pay. It does well on the important things but average or below average on finer details. Great: - The beach is not crowded and fairly clean. Don't have to worry too much about hawkers. - The swimming pools on offer are huge and very enjoyable for kids with fun activities and lots of space. - The kitchen offers good quality food at good prices for dinner. - They have nightly shows and daytime activities that my kids really had fun with. Good: - The breakfast buffet, while lacking in choices, is good. - The room is large and offers enough sleeping arrangements for a family of four. - Air conditioning in room works well. - Service is generally good. Friendliness is only average for what you would expect in Thailand. Bad: - Lack of air conditioning in the dining area is problematic considering we want to be there for the good food and the shows. - It is a buggy resort with ants and mosquitoes throughout including the rooms. Be prepared to use repellent. - This may be a problem throughout Phuket as transportation costs to other partso of Phuket is significant.

Kids playroom had very little toys. But otherwise it was very nice hotel, I would stay again.

Location ok near to the beach. Room interior and facility seems old a bit, but restaurant and FO service doing good, overall satisfy.

Great Hotel in a great location right on the beach. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices. So many different swimming pools within the complex caters for all. Short walk to restaurants, shops. Would stay here again
