The price you paid for is only for the location. You can get much better deal with other hotels of same standard, but their staffs are nice.

I would like to stress that though the hotel was by the beach which is certainly an advantage but there are few disadvantages that the hotel should consider. The WiFi never worked, even though you are connected to the WiFi of your room, there was no internet and my phone was on 5G all the time. The room was not as clean as it is supposed you be with basic amenities missing, no comb, shampoo cum conditioner was awful. Even after the housekeeping cleaned the room, there were cockroaches around and bunch of hair behind the door.

The first time I came to Phuket island in Thailand, I specially chose Kudo Hotel located on the famous Patong Beach. The location of the hotel is very good, but it is a bit noisy because there is a beach club downstairs.

The location is excellent on the beach and the service is very good, but the drawback is the noise at the pool.

I definitely don't recommend it and I'll explain why: We rented a hotel in October for a couple of days for 8 thousand baht per day. When we registered for the trip, a room with a sea view (with a pool) was indicated. I'm attaching a photo of the view. At first, they wanted to put us on the first floor, there was no view at all and a walk-through yard because it was the territory of the beach club. We were lucky to find a room on the second. The room smelled damp. The shower works with different pressures and from time to time every ten seconds it changes from cold to boiling water, it is very difficult to wash. The breakfasts are completely useless. The Wi-Fi practically does not work. The slippers that are disposable, just washed from previous guests. The advantages are the beach a step away and the sun loungers of the beach club are free and the staff is good. Bottom line: the price of such a hotel is a maximum of 3000 baht and even then I would think carefully.

First of all, we arrived at 1 noon that day. We knew that the correct check-in time was 15:00, but we wanted to put down our luggage first and politely asked if we could check in now. Then we got the response that it would be ok in 30 minutes, and then we asked again 30 minutes later. I politely asked if I could check in, and the response was that it was still a little short of time, and the floor needed to be mopped. Finally, at 50 o'clock, they told us that the room had this and that problem. At 14 o'clock, they told us that there was a problem with the light bulb and needed to be repaired. Well, if We were told in advance at 13:00 that it would not be that soon so we could go out for a walk first. Then at 6:00 p.m. we returned to the hotel and finally got the room. The floor in the room was as wet as if we were back in the south. The whole room smelled musty, and we spent a lot of time in the shower. The water spray was hot and cold and I was helpless. Then I went to ask the front desk about the room. The waiter at the front desk was not very polite and his English was terrible. In the end, I ignored the small matter and said it was okay. The noise is not as serious as said online. At least the volume after closing the door at night is acceptable to us. Moreover, the hotel is right on Patong Bay. We saw a beautiful sunset at dusk. The hotel's breakfast is all a la carte and tastes great. very good
