I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mercure Perth on Hay, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish! ✨ The Stay: From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their hospitality was top-notch, always friendly and ready to assist with anything I needed. My room was spotless, well-appointed, and had one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the city. 🍽️ The Breakfast: Hands down, one of the best parts of my stay! The buffet was well-stocked with fresh and delicious options, from warm pastries to a hearty selection of hot dishes. Plus, the coffee was fantastic—exactly what I needed to kickstart my day! If you’re looking for a comfortable, centrally located hotel with exceptional service and a great breakfast, I highly recommend Mercure Perth on Hay. It's in the city center but far away from the noise,the service is very good,I recommend this place as a good choice when you visit Perth

3rd stay here over last 6 or so months. I don't know, but it seems a bit less attractive to stay here now. The room is essentially minimalist but perfectly acceptable. Room was very noisy on level one next to an equipment room, but the rate I paid was good so I have no complaints on that. The really big issue was the clearly misleading marketing in the lifts. It advertised a breakfast deal for $20, but when I rang to book breakfast the receptionist had to check with someone and recieved a short reply "you have buy for every night of your stay". ie 5 breakfasts. The really great thing about this hotel is breakfast and more from 6am at the Dome, a west Australian cafe chain out the front two right turns, next corner. Unsure if I'll return to this hotel. For me now it's in thumbs down territory, primarily for the deception where it matters muchly, the stomach ransomed to the pocket.

Good place to stay - excellent value, great central location & near to everywhere you want to go. Rooms are spacious too. Highly recommended.

Room was dirty. Table had food stain from previous stayers. Shower pump bottles for Body Soap and Shampoo were completely empty. I bought my own soap. I ordered a fish dinner to my room. It was only just edible if I removed the batter. Batter was saturated in oil. Tea spoons for coffee were not washed from previous stayers. Overall Poor experience. Pathetic.

The room was decent but the body wash and shampoo wasn't refilled. Had to squeeze hard to get little. Didn't stayed for the night. Would be nice if they properly check the amenities before letting people to stay.

Everything is nice except that we had to pay $35 for paying inside the hotel . We were only told after payment that street parking is free.

Dated rooms but everything else such as comfort, space, and customer care was above average. I would stay again.

Comfortable bed, plenty of space, bar and restaurant down stairs is good. Was cheaper than other hotels in area and more professional looking hotel.

We were a bit put off by the negative reviews so didn’t really expect much. However from the moment we stepped into the hotel we were pleasantly surprised by everything. Staff welcomed us at the reception with a smile and assisted us with the check-in. The room was spacious with a lovely view over the Cathedral grounds. Bed was very comfy and we had an excellent sleep. The hotel is central in Perth CBD and close to the river as well. Breakfast was sufficient and it’s nice that you can sit outside as well. All up a very enjoyable experience and we couldn’t fault it. We will definitely be back.

Good was great, service was friendly as it could be since I checked in during the evening. Overall pretty alright :)

It was centrally located in the Perth city cbd and every thing was convenient to access. There were very nice staffs and good hospitality there fully recommended

Breakfast is fine, location is not bad, overall is fine. Could be better if comes with car parking free
