Hotels with Parking in Mengla

I had planned to go to Banna for a few days during the Spring Festival. When I booked a hotel on Ctrip, I found that the room rates had doubled. The 7 Days Inn chain, which usually costs only over 100 yuan, also soared to over 1,000 yuan a night (the people of Banna want to make back the money they didn't make in three years in 7 days). What I hate most is these places that rip off customers like crazy during holidays. So I decided to change my plan and go to Luang Prabang, Laos. Since it is not possible to buy D87 transit train tickets during the Spring Festival, you can only buy tickets in sections, first Kunming-Mohan, then cross the border in Mohan to Boten, Laos, and then Boten-Luang Prabang. I took the train to Mohan on February 13th and booked this homestay on Ctrip. It has a high score of 4.8 on Ctrip, so it must be good. I contacted the hotel before arriving in Mohan, and the hotel guy said that he would pick me up at the train station and send me to the border the next day. Sure enough, as soon as I got out of the station, the young man was waiting on the road in front of the train station. After checking in, I was amazed by the intelligence of the hotel, including smart curtains, smart toilets, and showers with digital temperature display. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was clean and fresh. Although I have stayed in many B&Bs, this one is definitely the ceiling among B&Bs. Moreover, the guy is very handsome, and I’m worried that the girl will continue to stay! The only regret is that the hotel does not have breakfast, it would be perfect if there was breakfast.

I chose this one because unlike other homes, it is a modern room design, but the design of teak, very beautiful, the room is large, and the hygiene is cleaner than the average hotel. Hotel location is very good, located in the new district, nearby are all beautiful single-family buildings, there are several hotels, there are few people and cars, very quiet. Behind the hotel is the Nanla River. In the evening, you can take a walk along the river and walk to the Star Night Market. The hotel went out and turned left. It took about ten minutes to walk along the road. There was a rice noodle shop that was very delicious for many years. It is very convenient to take a taxi to other places for ten yuan. The hotel staff are also very good, warm and friendly. In short, stayed for three nights very comfortable and very recommended.

This hotel was amazing. It’s only a year old but the amenities look like it’s brand new and inside of the room seems no different from a five-star. The only thing missing was a bathroom scale. Nice courtyard pool below just big enough to do some short laps and a kilometer from the night market. Interesting little area and they have street side eatery outside with a good view. The best part though is the manager Mr. Wu was exceptionally helpful. When he saw me arriving by bicycle, he did everything he could to make my stay more pleasant and even offered to go the extra mile with extra service and help. An unbelievable bargain, and a nice end to my journey. 

Clean and tidy, not very spacious, but has a balcony for good ventilation. There's a food street diagonally opposite, and it's a five-minute drive to the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Botanical Garden. The entire room features North American imported oak furniture with no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is reasonably priced and quite comprehensive, offering fried dough sticks, steamed dumplings, red bean buns, corn, sweet potatoes, boiled eggs, fried eggs, stir-fried vegetables, various porridges, fruits, milk, soy milk, coffee, and coconut milk. The special dishes are rice noodles and wontons. The staff are warm and welcoming, and parking is convenient.

This was the first hotel we stayed at after arriving in Xishuangbanna. The environment was very quiet and the greenery was beautiful. It's a pity we arrived late at night and had to leave the next morning; my family said we should have come earlier to visit the local markets, see the Buddhist temples, and go rafting. There were some small flying insects in the wooden villas, but in a tropical rainforest area near a river, I think it's quite normal and acceptable. If you can't accept this, I suggest not coming to Mengla; this place is all about returning to nature. So I don't quite understand people who give negative reviews about small flying insects; these insects fly in the air, they're not crawling on the bed. The hotel breakfast included local specialty rice noodles, which were delicious.

The location of the hotel is excellent, the transportation is convenient, and the travel is very convenient. The check-in speed at the front desk is fast, the staff is warm and thoughtful, and they also take the initiative to help me plan the itinerary. They recommend Wangtianshu Scenic Area and Manlongle to catch up. The room was clean and tidy, the layout was very warm, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I went to Manlongle to catch up early in the morning. It was like a food universe center. The Dai roast chicken, Baoba, and barbecue were all specialties, so I couldn't stop eating. In the afternoon, I went directly to Wangtianshu Scenic Area. I was very satisfied with the May 1 trip.

First off, the hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's just a 5-6 minute walk from the North Gate. Next, the front desk service was exceptional. Upon our arrival, the hotel owner personally helped us with our luggage, and the front desk staff were very professional. The check-in process was smooth and seamless. The breakfast was quite good too. For a hotel located near the botanical garden, it offered a surprisingly substantial spread. Finally, we mistakenly booked a room without a window. When we inquired about switching rooms, the hotel generously offered us a complimentary upgrade. Overall, if you're planning a trip to the botanical garden and intend to stay overnight, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

The room is quite big and clean, and the environment is good. Opposite is the garrison and next to the police station. The boss sleeps in the living room. He is very responsible and makes the guests feel safe. The boss personally picked up and dropped off guests at the station twice. Very enthusiastic. It is not easy for couples to open a store. I hope the platform will encourage them, give them more opportunities, and take care of them.

The overall is spacious and bright, with a little Thai style. But it is indeed like everyone said in the online review, the front desk brother is not cold or hot, not very bad, but not like a service industry. Facing the road, there is still some noise. But there is a more disgusting picture, I did not dare to use the glass cup in the bathroom when I brushed my teeth. I was going to brush my teeth with a tea cup in the room, but it turned out to be even more disgusting. There was water in both tea cups and dirty things.

This trip to the triangular house in Kunlong Valley, Mengyuan Wonderland, is a dream trip and must be praised! As soon as you step into the triangular house, the unique shape is eye-catching. The wooden structure is matched with large glass windows, which complement the surrounding rainforest. The sunlight shines in, and the light and shadow are mottled, which is beautiful. The facilities in the house are far beyond expectations. The bed is soft and warm, and you can sleep well all night; the independent bathroom is clean and tidy, hot water is available at any time, and the supplies are exquisite and complete. The most intoxicating thing is the surrounding environment. In the morning, you are awakened by the crisp bird song. When you open the door, fresh air with the fragrance of plants and trees hits you in the face. Strolling along the rainforest trail, you can see lush greenery, encounter rare plants and smart small animals, which is fun. The service is even more heartwarming. The staff is enthusiastic. They will introduce the gameplay in detail when you check in, provide help at any time during the tour, and carefully prepare rainforest specialties. You can also enjoy the gluttony on your tongue. Here, people and nature blend together, and fatigue is swept away. I sincerely recommend it to all friends who yearn for nature. Come here to start a spiritual journey!
