"My first choice is that the location is suitable. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is very convenient for day and night tours. Shopping nearby is convenient. The overall hardware facilities are clean, tidy and easy to use. The waiter has a good attitude and communicates well. Breakfast is not much, home-cooked, suitable for dining on the go. Thank you for sending me a breakfast. The price/performance ratio is poor, a double room is a bit expensive at 600 yuan. The executive suite is too expensive at 1,200 yuan per room. Apart from being bigger, there is nothing special about it, so I don’t recommend it."

"We mainly chose Wanglian Hotel for its convenient proximity to the botanical garden. While the hotel facilities are showing their age, the rooms themselves are quite spacious. We did occasionally encounter small crickets in the room, but it wasn't a major issue, and overall, our stay was acceptable. "The hotel's location and environment are absolutely top-notch for a vacation! The back exit is just a 2-minute walk to the west gate of the Botanical Garden, making late-night rainforest tours and early morning sightseeing super convenient, saving you the hassle of traveling far. The photography session, complete with outfits and makeup, was fantastic; the photographer was great at guiding the kids, and the photos turned out amazing. If you're comparing it to InterContinental for photos, I highly recommend choosing this place for your photo shoot. The SPA was incredible and incredibly therapeutic. The room facilities are well-maintained, the butler service is responsive, and the buggy service is available on demand. The tranquil resort atmosphere and easy access to attractions, whether for relaxing or taking photos, make it well worth a dedicated trip."

"The most surprising experience of this trip to Mengla was the Levande Hotel! It's right near the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and only a 20-minute drive to the Wangtianshu Scenic Area (the front desk lady was so kind to let me know there's a weekend market going on there—you can ride a shared electric bus to experience the unique local night market life). You can even see Dai villages along the way. The location is perfect! Another comfort and convenience feature is the hotel's free pick-up service (because it was already past 7 p.m. and I hadn't realized how hard it was to get a taxi. After waiting for half an hour with no one to respond, I realized the hotel offered a pick-up service and quickly contacted the hotel through the booking process. The driver was incredibly friendly!) The hotel room was even bigger than I expected! Over 30 square meters was plenty comfortable! The tropical decor, large windows, and cleanliness were topped off! The disposable bath towels were especially impressive: individually sealed, thick, and lint-free. Upon opening, we found a thick, non-woven fabric that's highly absorbent and lint-free (a reassuring thought for those of us who are particular about hygiene and attention to detail)."

"The overall environment is well-preserved. The wooden cabins are simply furnished, and there are many wild flying insects. The service is excellent. It's about 4km from the Lao-Ta border. The border crossing is very basic, and there aren't many tourists. The owner said that many government and business visitors come here. There's a new rural construction demonstration site nearby, giving it a remote and impoverished feel, with not much to do. You need to make a reservation by phone before arrival, otherwise you won't even be able to find the door!"

"Because I was going to Wangtianshu, I planned to stay in Mengla County for one night. I chose the newly opened Vienna. The service facilities are in line with the level. The family parent-child room is very large, and there are small tents for children. I arrived late at night and tasted Lao Hot Pot. It was quite good. Breakfast can be improved, the pasta tastes general, there are not many other categories, there is no juice drink."
