There are many guests in the hotel during the Qingming Festival, but the room is very quiet at night. This experience is really worth it. The hotel is in a very good location. Wanda Plaza is just outside the door, and it is convenient to go anywhere. As soon as I entered the lobby, I smelled a faint fragrance. The decoration is very grand. The front desk lady Catherine smiled very sweetly and checked in very quickly. The room is 40 square meters, and the night view from the floor-to-ceiling window is stunning! The bed is super comfortable, and there are several kinds of pillows to choose from. The bathroom is very clean, the shower water pressure is just right, and the toiletries provided are all big brands, which are very reassuring to use. There are so many types of breakfast to choose from, both Chinese and Western, the fruits are very fresh, and the freshly cooked noodles are super delicious. I have been to Langfang many times, but this is my first time staying in this hotel. I like it very much!
The hardware is very well thought out, the room design is also of high quality, and the sound insulation is also very good.

Where do I start...
A four letter word starting with S and ending with T, comes to mind, when thinking about rating this hotel, in terms of service received.
Front of house (seven or more staff), including the duty manager, were ”hanging around” the back of the counter, upon our arrival.
A toothbrush, and a comb, that's it, that's what you can expect to find during your stay.
Too much effort for them to even supply something as basic, as a shower cap.
It's mid March, and can you guess, what music is playing in the background?
Christmas music, clearly, there is no supervision and oversight from regional management, or just a lack of common sense.
The rooms are dark, and have a dodging feel to them.
In the dining area, where breakfast is served, you will find that the descriptions of the dishes on display, are solely in Chinese.
No English whatsoever, yet, ”they” want to ”run” an Internationl / English brand.
This branch, is in my opinion not worthy to represent an international brand.
Perhaps, retraining or change of management, would be an option.
Until then, this establishment will never see us again, nor will we recommend them.

MMichael & Nici Exploring China and BeyondWe booked into the Holiday Inn Suites at ”Holiday Inn Langfang”, this time around.
Our previous visits to this hotel, were not particularly good, with service ”a lack of service”, being the primary reason.
Nevertheless, we wanted to try the ”Suites” section this time, and also see if things have improved.
Unfortunately, we were yet again inconvenienced at check in.
This is the only hotel, in China, in our experience that seem to not be favourable towards foreign guests.
Bearing in mind that we have visited numerous hotels, and have been living and working here for around four years.
Other than the most unpleasant check in process, our overall stay was fairly good.
The ”suite” has a fairly spacious layout, and the rate is relatively affordable.
We were very disappointed to learn that the swimming pool, was not operational (this whilst it's advertised on Trip.com).
We do enjoy the Breakfast at this hotel, in fact, we have breakfast here at least once a week.
Previously, we found that the Dish Name Cards at the Breakfast Buffet, are only in Chinese.
This is still the case, WHY?
As it's an ”International Brand”, hence we expect a level of English as well.
This can be such a lovely Hotel, if only they would work on improving their service levels.
With that said, we received excellent service from ”Allen”, whom tried his best to meet our requirements.
(Perhaps, his management, could learn some professional courtesy from him).
There are numerous hotels around, and if this one wishes to remain busy, best they improve their service, especially towards foreign guests.

The hotel is in the development zone of Langfang, and the smooth driving is completely unexpected. It is very convenient for me to get off the highway, and it took more than 10 minutes to get there. Parking in the hotel is also free. The hotel is divided into Building A and Building B. This time I experienced Building A, which is not bad. The room is clean, the bedding is comfortable, the items are complete, there are large floor-to-ceiling windows, and the view is wide. TTha PanhaI stayed one night in Langfang; my friend recommended this hotel to me. I have never seen such a huge hotel. It was spacious, modern, and cozy. The manager, I’m not sure if she is the operations manager or the front office manager, was very friendly and helpful. She showed me all types of rooms so that I could decide which one I wanted to stay in. It was so nice of her. I have never been to a hotel that made me feel so comfortable, especially in the living room.
The room was spacious and reasonably priced, with a modern design and beautiful view. I will definitely come back to this hotel again.

Facilities: It is quite complete, with a gym and a swimming pool. The swimming pool is not big, the water is not cold, but it is not very clean. It is understandable that it is not warm if it is clean. The dressing room is quite large, with a super large locker. You can change clothes in the dressing room or in the room before going swimming.
Environment: The bedding is quite comfortable, the lights in the room are not bright, and the table lamp is OK. The room next to it is super large, with a separate cloakroom and desk partition. There is also a 180-degree super large floor-to-ceiling window.

They contacted us in advance to arrange parking spaces and upgrade the room before we arrived. We arrived early and were able to check in early. This is the first hotel that is so easy to talk to after visiting so many places. The hotel is very clean, the bedding is great, the breakfast is especially good, and the room has a direct lake view after the upgrade, which is beautiful. The manager saw that we brought children and specially introduced many free parent-child activities. He also helped us apply for a late check-out the next day. It is really a treasure hotel worth visiting many times.
