In a place where no one even knew our religion, we were welcomed like family. Every greeting, every smile, every gesture radiated genuine kindness — something you rarely find in modern hotels. Jojo was the heart of that experience. She stayed with us for dinner, thoughtfully asking about our dietary needs as Muslims and ensuring every meal was prepared with care and respect. Her presence went beyond service; it was her way of making us feel truly seen, valued, and at home. Equally unforgettable was the aunty who served us with unwavering dedication and warmth. Every meal she prepared, every little detail she attended to, showed a sincerity that made us feel like part of the family. They are undeniably an asset to the homestay, and their kindness added a layer of comfort and joy that we will never forget. This homestay is spacious and ideal for Muslim travelers as well as families, offering a rare combination of comfort and authentic local hospitality. It is a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, but if you are seeking calmness and the genuine charm of Chengdu, this is the perfect place to stay. True hospitality isn’t about polished professionalism or fancy amenities — it’s about heart, authenticity, and human connection. The generosity, thoughtfulness, and warmth we experienced here are rare treasures, and the memories of this stay will remain with us forever.

Anren is an ancient town that can completely quiet the heart. The hotel is in the ancient town. It is a few minutes away from the Liu Landlord Courtyard of Jianchuan Museum and the ancient town. The boss and his wife are very polite. The room configuration is good. The best thing is clean. It can be said to be spotless. Worth the key recommendation

The layout and service are online! The whole service team is very thoughtful and responsive. Fruits are provided free of charge in public areas and the details are full. The room was cleaned spotlessly, the bathroom was equipped with Wrigley sanitary ware, the quality was visible, and the living comfort was very high. The breakfast is exquisite and rich, and the taste is online. The young lady who made coffee at the front desk was gentle and patient, and the experience was excellent. In particular, we should praise the store's tolerance and kindness: the children accidentally broke the tea set in the room. We took the initiative to pay. The staff cared about whether the child was injured at the first time and did not ask for compensation. This understanding is very moving. You can feel the sincere hospitality of the team everywhere, quiet in the middle of noisy, and convenient parking by car. It is rare to meet such a warm homestay on the journey. It is highly recommended. I will still choose here next time I come to Anren. ♥

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

Staying in the Yuan Qiao Deluxe Family Private Hot Spring Suite at the Tiangong Heyuan Hotel in Dayi was an absolutely fantastic experience! The room comes with one large bed and a sofa bed, offering plenty of space for families. The entire room features smart voice control (just say ”Hello Xiaowei”) to adjust lights and curtains, and the smart toilet is incredibly convenient. The bathroom boasts a modern, minimalist grey design with large tiled walls and floors, complemented by black fixtures, and the shower includes a niche, giving it a premium feel. The private hot spring tub in the room was the most delightful surprise, with its silky smooth thermal water. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop hot spring and steam room. The bedding is soft, breakfast is plentiful, and complimentary fruit and a minibar are provided. Full marks – highly recommend!

so far 3 night at chengdu. this is the most favourite accommodation of mine. The host super kind, helpful, generous. The room so spacious for 4 of us (2 kids /2 adult) the best things is the bed got heater & wool blanket to make sure we warm because weather here is super cold. Also i love the comfy sofa provided and I can relax and doing my work using the laptop. The host also gave us borrow extra heater and so generous provide us an oranges. The best part is I can put my luggage at reception while I go up to Xiling Mountain. You can ask the host to help booking bus ticket back to Chengdu city. Open the window and just secure the window net so you can enjoy the windy cold weather. Feel so blessed enjoying the God nature here. Overall I highly recommended this accommodation. So relax and peaceful.. the only sound I can hear is my kids snoring 😜🤣

First time visiting Huashuiwan, and this homestay I booked was pretty good overall. The room was clean and tidy, the owner was very welcoming, and the service was excellent.

The experience at Huashuiwan First Village Hot Spring Forest Hotel exceeded my expectations! The hotel is surrounded by dense forest, and the rooms are quite clean, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable sleep. ♨️ There's a wide variety of natural hot springs nestled in the woods, and after a soak, I felt completely relaxed and refreshed. The unique glass walkway in the park is actually a glass boat pathway over the lake, where you can ride small boats through glass waterways, offering a novel and incredibly fun way to enjoy the lakeside scenery. It’s a one-stop shop for dining, accommodation, and entertainment with abundant recreational activities, making it perfect for a short getaway. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean and spacious, and the owner was super nice and offered thoughtful service. The air was great, not too hot, and we could even swim in the river, which the kids absolutely loved!!! In the morning, we stumbled upon a market and bought some local produce to take home, which was a pleasant surprise!! This place is perfect for a summer getaway, family trips, and for entertaining the little ones. Highly recommend!!

Overall, I was very satisfied. The owner was very welcoming, and the other staff members were also very nice. There were even adorable kittens in the shop! If taking a taxi is inconvenient, they offer a shuttle service, although it costs extra, but the price is very reasonable, unlike some taxis that charge double. This hotel is very close to the front of the mountain, which is very convenient. There are tons of ******* macaques along the way, so you can go to the front of the mountain on the first day and the back on the second.
