Service: It is a treasure homestay. There were not many people when I checked in, so I chose a twin room. The staff in the folk custom have a strong sense of service, are very enthusiastic, and are willing to respond to requests. They also take the initiative to introduce local characteristics and nearby tourist attractions. Coming here is like coming to a very familiar friend's home. It is warm and welcoming everywhere and will not make you feel stressed. Environment: The environment is really nothing to say. There are three courtyards, and each courtyard has different micro-landscapes. The layout of each place is very attentive. You can see the water flowing in the ancient town when you go out of the door! You can also relax for a moment while sitting and drinking tea while watching the scenery. The most amazing thing is the food: I originally wanted to dine in the ancient town, and then I learned that I could also dine there. I was in the mood to try it. I didn't expect it to be amazing. It was delicious, just like being at home. Our family of three had a full belly every meal. Sesame oil duck, pig intestines and blood, milk soup noodles, dried radish, and Bobo chicken really made me linger. My husband and I, who don't eat spicy food, can't stop eating. Hygiene: The hygiene in the room is OK, clean and tidy. This is the first time I stay in a homestay and don't know what other homestays look like. This one is good. There were mosquitoes in the house at that time, and the staff brought mosquito coils and mosquito repellent. Thumbs up! Afternoon tea at your heart: I tried white tea, black tea, and canned milk tea. As the saying goes, only when your heart is calm can you taste the flavor. So everyone can experience it slowly according to their mood at that time.

Qixi Guesthouse

We stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

I had a wonderful stay at Tiangong Heyuan Hotel Huashuiwan. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. Every evening, they thoughtfully sent delicious local snacks to the room, which made the experience feel extra special. The team was extremely helpful with public transport guidance and could even assist in arranging transport when needed, making travel smooth and stress-free. The hot spring facilities were incredibly comfortable, with clear and friendly instructions provided for first-time visitors. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the added AI support made the stay even more convenient. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I will definitely come back again!

so far 3 night at chengdu. this is the most favourite accommodation of mine. The host super kind, helpful, generous. The room so spacious for 4 of us (2 kids /2 adult) the best things is the bed got heater & wool blanket to make sure we warm because weather here is super cold. Also i love the comfy sofa provided and I can relax and doing my work using the laptop. The host also gave us borrow extra heater and so generous provide us an oranges. The best part is I can put my luggage at reception while I go up to Xiling Mountain. You can ask the host to help booking bus ticket back to Chengdu city. Open the window and just secure the window net so you can enjoy the windy cold weather. Feel so blessed enjoying the God nature here. Overall I highly recommended this accommodation. So relax and peaceful.. the only sound I can hear is my kids snoring 😜🤣

An absolutely amazing value for money experience! We'd been talking about coming for a hot spring getaway for a while, so we specifically chose a weekday to avoid the crowds, and it was perfect – not too busy, not too empty. The hot spring experience was great; there were many pools, each with its own unique charm. The outdoor pools had beautiful scenery and the water temperature was very comfortable. While the room facilities weren't brand new, they were incredibly clean and tidy. You could tell this established hotel really puts effort into its upkeep and quality. The buffet breakfast was also extensive with a great selection of items. Overall, for this price, it was truly excellent value for money!

Stumbled upon a super hassle-free hotel! The entire place was spotless and fresh, the bedding was soft, and the room had great natural light. The blackout curtains were amazing. What really stood out were the thoughtful little details: the front desk had Huoxiang Zhengqi water (a traditional Chinese medicine for heatstroke) and band-aids ready, so no need to panic if something unexpected happened while out and about. The facilities were complete, the bathroom was clean, and overall it was quiet and comfortable. I felt safe and at ease staying here – definitely my top choice for accommodation when traveling!

The room was very clean and spacious, and the owner was super nice and offered thoughtful service. The air was great, not too hot, and we could even swim in the river, which the kids absolutely loved!!! In the morning, we stumbled upon a market and bought some local produce to take home, which was a pleasant surprise!! This place is perfect for a summer getaway, family trips, and for entertaining the little ones. Highly recommend!!

Interrail Huashuiwan Hot Spring Hotel | A Classic, Treasure-Worthy Family Hot Spring, Five Stars, Highly Recommended! I'm giving Interrail Huashuiwan a full five stars! This high-value hot spring hotel was an unexpected find during our Dragon Boat Festival trip with the kids. While the hotel brand is quite established and the overall facilities show their age slightly, the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. 💕 I especially loved the breakfast buffet! However, if you're particular about modern hotel amenities, you might want to skip this review. 🌟 Hot Spring Experience: Sulfur Pools So Comfortable, You Won't Want to Leave The hot spring area is very clearly sectioned, with plenty of pools of all sizes. There are numerous sulfur pools with warm, gentle water and a subtle, natural sulfur scent. After a soak, you feel completely relaxed. There are also several clear water play pools specifically for children. The water temperature is mild and not too hot, making it a paradise for kids to play in during the summer. 🌟 Dragon Boat Festival Exclusive Family Activities: Rich Content, Full of Atmosphere We happened to catch the hotel's Dragon Boat Festival-themed family activities, and the free craft projects were genuinely thoughtful: 1. Zongzi Making Experience: Kids got to participate in making Zongzi themselves. The staff were patient and taught them hand-in-hand, making the holiday feel truly special. The next day, you could ask the hotel staff to cook them for breakfast! 2. Scented Soap DIY & Plaster Painting: My little girl sat quietly for an entire afternoon, meticulously coloring. Afterwards, she got to take her handmade creations home, which she absolutely loved. The activity schedule was well-arranged throughout the day, and you didn't need to buy extra tickets; just staying at the hotel allowed you to experience it. The value for money was unbeatable! 👍 🌟 Hotel Amenities & Service: An Established Hotel with Surprising Soft Power You can tell the hotel's architecture and decor have some history. The lobby's domed ceiling and vintage columns give it a mature, classic resort vibe. While the facilities aren't brand new and trendy, they are meticulously cleaned and well-maintained, not looking worn out at all. 🌟 Overall Summary: The per-person cost is affordable, including hot springs + free family activities. You can eat, stay, soak, and play all in one place, without needing to go to other attractions. It's suitable for spring and autumn for a healthy sulfur hot spring soak, or for summer with kids to play in the water and enjoy holiday-specific activities. Families with kids, just go for it! I'll definitely be back for a second visit next holiday. #travel #hotsprings #familyfun

We saty at the guest occupancy double room 1. The room is amazing. Very nice. But what is great about this hotel is the two reception both of them same surname Zhang 张先生和张女士. In this ending season soon, they were both very helpful and friendly. They maintained a high level of commitment to us to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Despite the season for skiing is ending, they provided much needed information for us to continue to enjoy our stay. Keeping us updated of snow weather we we eventually get to see snow and go skiing. They even help us to arrange for our transport for checkout especially with off season difficulties in trying to get down the mountain why scandina resort hotel is located.
