GGuest UserSimple and quiet style, with two small yards, very clean. The details are well done, the parent-child room has Yunrou towels for the baby, and there is a fence to prevent the baby from falling off the bed (but the fence is not very stable). We didn't use it. There are smart toilets in the bathroom and alcohol disinfection towels. The service attitude is very good. suitable for shorting

GGuest UserAs shown in the picture, it is very clean. The lady at the front desk upgraded the room for us. You can see the beautiful scenery of Dayi outside the window. The light is good and transparent. I was originally going to Chengdu for only one day, but I extended my stay because the room was nice. I had to catch the high-speed train early the next day, but I think it was worth it. The service of the lady at the front desk was very good. I recommend it!

HHwee1I had a wonderful stay at Tiangong Heyuan Hotel Huashuiwan. The staff were outstanding—professional, warm, and always ready to help. Every evening, they thoughtfully sent delicious local snacks to the room, which made the experience feel extra special.
The team was extremely helpful with public transport guidance and could even assist in arranging transport when needed, making travel smooth and stress-free. The hot spring facilities were incredibly comfortable, with clear and friendly instructions provided for first-time visitors.
The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the added AI support made the stay even more convenient. Overall, an excellent experience from start to finish. I will definitely come back again!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the heart of Huashuiwan, close to the late-night snack area, where I'd recommend Hong Taiyang BBQ. Unlike summer, some of the hot springs at the hotel are quite warm in winter, which is very pleasant.
I hope the hotel enforces its no-smoking policy in the hot springs. The hot spring area itself is lovely, but there's always the off-putting smell of smoke.
The hot spring facilities are complete, featuring both dry and wet saunas, but there's no 'kakeyu' (rinse station) for washing off after using them. This means whether you return to the hot springs with sweat after a sauna is entirely up to individual discretion. This isn't really a drawback, as most hot springs in China don't have such rinsing facilities.
If you're traveling solo and don't have a car, you can wait for the shuttle bus to go to Xueshan or back to Dayi County.

The hotel location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the hot springs, and there are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable against the skin, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully peaceful sleep.
What impressed me most was the service. From the warm and professional guidance at the front desk during check-in, to the staff's prompt response whenever I had a request, every detail showed how thoughtful they were. The breakfast was rich and delicious, with a balanced nutritional spread, and even the quality of the toiletries was top-notch. You could really feel the hotel's dedication.

I booked a downstairs room, and the window next to the bathtub opened up directly to the outside, meaning anyone could just walk in. So, I couldn't open the window at night to sleep. Even without the room heating on, it felt incredibly stuffy. I guess I'm just not used to this being from the south. I barely slept all night. I'd recommend southern visitors bring a portable humidifier and a small fan.
🙋🏻♀️Front Desk:
The front desk staff were very nice. We arrived at 12:00 PM, and they had a room ready for us, allowing us to check in early so we could drop off our things before heading out to play in the snow 👍🏻. I'd recommend checking the messages the hotel sends via Trip.com in advance and adding the concierge on WeChat for information on visiting the snow mountain.
The room itself was a bit dated, but the cleanliness was acceptable. Breakfast was terrible.
The room I purchased included VIP fast-track service, but it *did not* include tickets or the cable car. We had to pay an additional $240 per person for tickets and the cable car. However, a dedicated staff member did escort us to the hotel, bypassing the queues.
Overall, I spent over 3000 yuan for one night and felt it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't go back. Thankfully, it snowed on our first day, and I got a lot of beautiful photos; otherwise, this night would have been a complete waste!

GGuest UserThe location is great! Just get off and head down the slope on your left, and you're there. Cotti Coffee is right next door, which is super convenient for dropping off and picking up luggage. The hotel reception has some snow toys for kids that you can borrow for free – just return them when you're done playing. We didn't buy a sled for going up the mountain, so it was a pleasant surprise to find the hotel had them. Definitely saved us some money and effort!
We booked a lake-view room, and the pictures showed a bathtub. We were hoping to soak our feet after a long day, so we even brought disposable bath liners. However, this particular room didn't have one. Looking at the bathroom, it seems like there might have been one before, and it was removed during a renovation for some reason. The room next door did have one, though. While not a deal-breaker, it was a bit disappointing.
If having a bathtub is important to you, I'd recommend confirming with the front desk when you book.
The breakfast was good too, with plenty of variety. For over 2000 meters altitude, I think the quality is perfectly acceptable.
Xiling is really perfect for taking young children to play in the snow. The temperature is just right, and there are lots of entertainment options. You can even watch the sunrise and sea of clouds from the mountain top – truly amazing!
Just a side note: the underfloor heating was incredibly hot, especially in the middle of the night. I guess they're worried guests will get cold, but it was surprisingly warm. Drink plenty of water!
