It is a good location to the metro and the room as very clean. The highlight is the breakfast! Staff very helpful! Internet not that stable so if you need to work from the room be aware of it. All in all , a good option for exploring the beautiful city of Paris

The room is small, the heater doesn't work well, it took a long time to communicate with the front desk before it can be used, the cups are disposable paper cups... and the cups were not changed for three days. I suggest you bring your own towels. I saw the cleaners throw the towels on the floor. Then I recommend the Eiffel Tower International Hotel, at least it has a good location, right near the Eiffel Tower. Be very careful to choose Mondays and Tuesdays when the hotel is affordable. Also, be wary of pickpockets in France, keep your bag tightly.

Overall it's OK, located in the core area of the city, with convenient transportation. Stayed for two nights. The front desk was very nice. I walked from Gare de l'Est, which took only about ten minutes. I stayed alone, and the space was OK. If the price is within 100 euros, it would be great. There are restaurants, bakeries, bars, supermarkets, and laundry nearby. In fact, all hotels in the center of Paris are convenient.

When we arrived at 9pm, the reception staff were friendly and so helpful. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. My friend was able to get a single cup of coffee early in the morning, and the staff were very helpful with their English! Every time we needed help, they were friendly and happy to help. We managed to leave our luggage with the hotel after we checked out and the whole process was very smooth. The location was perfect for the Gare du Nord. We walked down the Canal one day and another day we used the Colonel Fabien Metro, which is near some lovely cafes and a convenience store with everything you might need. We only stayed 2 nights but it was a really lovely stay and I look forward to staying there again. Merci Beaucoup!

I stayed here for a short trip in Paris (April 2024), the hotel is ideal if you want somewhere just to sleep and get a good breakfast before a long day sightseeing or in the city. Staff are very friendly, and was good to speak to them in French (they speak English too if you need to). Very good breakfast, all fresh pastries and good coffee too. The hotel is close to Gare de Nord which is good if you fly in from Charles de Gaulle. The area around the hotel is pleasant, there are a lot of good bars and restaurants as well as a metro station five minutes away (Louis Blanc). Would recommend and would stay again.

We decided to stay at the Ibis as we needed a slightly out of city hotel, close to Gare De L’ Est train station for the duration of our stay. The hotel is only a stones throw from the closest metro (Louis Blanc) of which can be used to get to central Paris. The area around the hotel is very local with minimal tourists, but plenty of bars and cafes along the canal. It is not uncommon to see locals sat along the canal with some food and wine in the sunshine. One immediate frustration at the hotel was having to buzz in from outside and wait for someone to open the door. We arrived late evening so presumed this was the reason but later found this was a 24/7 requirement. Not too much of an issue but when the staff are managing a check in or not at the desk it can leave you stood outside for a few minutes. It can also be a bit awkward with bags etc. Check-in was quick and easy, we were given a room on the fifth floor (503) of which overlooked the canal area. The rooms were quiet from the point of the outside and streets however there was some noise from other internal doors closing as they required a tug to ensure they were shut properly. The rooms whilst small were well equipped and thought out allowing for ease of access to everything needed. The air conditioning was on and working (thankfully!) meaning any trip to the room was a cool and calm respite from the hot 30+ degrees outside. Whilst the room had all of the basic amenities there was no tea / coffee facilities or room safe. That being said you can make a tea / coffee down stairs in reception. The bathroom was well designed and whilst it was a large walk-in shower as the tray had been raised there was no issue with wet floors etc. Lighting and ventilation in the bathroom was also really good so there was no foggy mirrors for hours after a shower. The room and hotel in general was immaculately clean and well kept, we felt like the first visitors in the room which is always welcomed! All in all a great stay and we would use it as a central stop again.

This venue had modern decor and we love the fact that we needed to be buzzed in. Everything was clean snd well looked after. Mr Mosa made our son felt very at home though out our short two nights. We choose this hotel as it was walking distance to Gare Du Nord for us to catch RER B. it was easy dragging our luggage along Ru Lafayet to avoid the many stairs and changes on the Metro. with Metro Line 7, it is a short ride into the city area as well as to the City of Science and Industry.

I've given this a five as you get everything you pay for. This is a fair priced hotel, in a great location right by the Canal St Martin. It is everything you would hope from a basic chain hotel, it is clean, has everything you need for a stay, lovely reception staff and surprisingly very quiet. We ate out for breakfast.

This was my first overseas trip since the pandemic lockdown. I have made several short leisure trips out to Paris and travel by Eurostar. I like staying in Ibis hotels. I have a loyalty card for them and they suit my budget. I try to stay in a different one on each trip to sample different locations. I have stayed in the Ibis hotel further to the North on the Canal St Martin but this was my first time in this hotel. It is only a short 15 minute walk from the Gare du Nord and you can walk along part of the canal to reach the hotel. It is in a fairly quiet part of the city. My initial impression was a little poor as when you reach the front door it appears to be locked with no way of entering. It seemed to suggest that you could't book in till around 14:00hrs and I was there a fair bit before this. In the end I pressed a buzzer and the door opened up, presumably by someone on the reception desk. Once inside it was a fairly quick and simple registration process. My room was a few floors up and reached by lift. The room was fairly small and very average for an Ibis. One window had an uninspiring view out into a closed courtyard. Overall the room and bathroom was clean and I had no complaints about it. The shower was good in the bathroom with plenty of hot water. WiFi was available and worked well. Like I normally do I had paid to have breakfast each morning. At previous Ibis locations this has always been extremely good offering a wide choice to select from in a buffet format. Here the choice was a little less. There weren't even any cornflakes on offer in the limited choice of cereals. A small variety of hot choices were available. To sum up I would say that the hotel is perfectly adequate for a short stay. It would provide a place to sleep and facility to start your day but apart from that it was just an average budget priced hotel in the city.
