Yun-zen Jinling Lotus Hotel Reviews

The location is very easy to find. I heard that it is the Hebei Provincial Office in Beijing. Next to it is the Lotus Pond Park. There is the park entrance in the corridor. I arrived at the hotel relatively late, so the lady at the front desk upgraded the room for me. It is clean, hygienic, luxurious and atmospheric. You can see the park outside by opening the curtains. In the morning, I watched the uncles and aunts doing fancy exercises in the park downstairs outside the window, kicking shuttlecock, playing with sandbags, stretching their legs, climbing the horizontal bar, swinging on the horizontal bar, hitting pillars, and practicing Tai Chi. They were so happy. Hahahaha. I really envy the retirement life of the uncles and aunts!

It is an old hotel. Although the room facilities are a bit old, it is quite clean. There is also a small balcony overlooking the Lotus Park. Many Beijingers do morning exercises here early every morning. The hotel is located on the Third Ring Road. It is indeed very deserted during the Spring Festival. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores around. The hotel's own small supermarket is only open on the fourth day of the New Year, which is not very convenient. But it is very close to Beijing West Railway Station, which can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. If you want to go to other attractions, you need to walk for 7 to 8 minutes to find the bus stop. The hotel's buffet breakfast is quite rich, but the catering service is not very good. I wanted to order a few dishes for Chinese food, but they said they didn't have the ingredients. The taste is okay.
