Bohol Coastal View Hotel Reviews

The hotel was built on hills. There are a few sets of stairs before we could reach the reception!  There’s no elevator.  So people who have mobility issues would not choose this hotel.  We were assigned to a room where construction works were right outside doing Constrction. The noise and dust are hard to avoid.  The whole room was dirty and dusty.  Hotel breakfast was another let down. We ordered mango salad, for two mornings, the portion on the second morning dropped by half. Only when we asked the waiter we were told the food supply truck did not come. And they hope the inconsistent portion would not be an issue.

Very clean and tidy

The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining what things to see and how to get there. The room was as advertised, the size was correct and as we selected the king bed ocean view, the big balcony was perfect to enjoy the view. We loved the pools. The hotel location is quiet, if you don’t mind the neighbourhood roosters (pretty much everywhere). As the hotel is located a bit far from the town though, they provide a complementary shuttle to get to go to the beach. Of you want more freedom and as a tuk tuk ride cost around 200P one way, we would recommend renting a scooter to go around. We rented one at the hotel (Suzuki Bugman street) for 400P, it’s 50P more than what you could get in town, but it’s convenient. The scooter carried both of us to the chocolate hills, and all other places we wanted to see. The breakfasts were pretty straightforward with three choices, Filipino Tosilog (more a grilled porc), a continental that was my choice after trying the tosilog, and an Asian one, my partner tried the dumpling and well this was a real disappointment. There is one thing I really didn’t liked is that the coffee isn’t brewed, then if you want a small cup of brewed is 150P and the juice is additional charge of 190P. All hotel everywhere have brewed coffee and juice included with breakfast. Something I told the hotel’s owner. Would we recommend that hotel? Definitely yes, for the room, the view, the staff.

Great staff and beautiful rooms with amazing view

Really pretty hotel with nice pools, and plenty of space to sun bathe or rest in the shade Unfortunately the hotel is still under construction so there is a lot of noise during the day Vegetarians be warned there is no good options for you, the kitchen is unable to provide anything suitable Staff were friendly and organized a taxi for us when it was time to leave

We love the experience, I just wish they can be more flexible with the shuttle timings and perhaps if you could provide a free roundtrip airport transfer when guest would stay for more than two nights then that would be an even better deal

Overall experience was good, the staffs are very nice. Not only assist us arrange motorcycle renting, also have shuttle car to airport, very comfortable. However the staff checked out room right before we left, it was a bit uncomfortable, either worry we might steal something or destroy something, I think they could’ve contact us afterwards if we really did, instead of having us standing there waiting for them to check. Hope this can be improve, thank you

Amazing

There is a sofa at the door of the room. The hotel has two swimming pools and the hygiene is good. The hotel has a shuttle bus to Alona Beach, which needs to be booked one hour in advance, which is very convenient

The hotel experience is very good, the price-performance ratio is super high, the owner is Chinese, many places in the hotel have Chinese signs, it is very convenient, the room is clean and the bedding is very good, the overall situation is completely beyond my expectation, the hotel is a temporary reservation, I saw some before booking The sound was not very good, so I was a little worried before moving in, but after moving in, all those worries disappeared. It was not the case at all.

The location is excellent, 2 km to the airport and 2-3 km to Alona Beach. The hotel has many buses to Alona Beach every day. Just say hello to the front desk in advance to reserve a seat. The hotel is very beautiful, the room infrastructure is very good, the bedding is very comfortable, and the service staff is warm and thoughtful. I recommend everyone to stay here. I was lucky enough to meet their local celebrities staying at night. I heard that Tikok has more than 12 million fans, which is also very impressive. The cats in the hotel are also very cute and can be petted at will. Cat lovers can go there. By the way, the boss is Chinese, so there is no need to worry about communication problems. Just rest assured and book it. I heard from the boss that the hotel’s cat cafe will open in February, with more than 30 cats to pet. It’s fun, I’ll come back next time.

The room was very unhygienic. There were many ants crawling on the bed. There were many stains and hair on the pillows and bedspreads. The floor and doors were also very old. The hangers were also very dirty. I didn't dare to use anything. It was really bad to stay in a place like a construction site for 1,000 yuan.

A very beautiful hotel. The sea view is very beautiful. The room is also very large. The room has direct access to the swimming pool. The breakfast is also quite delicious. The hotel also has a cute cat Rua. I stayed there for many days and was quite satisfied overall. The dry and wet separation is a bit lacking. The floor will be quite wet after taking a shower. There are small geckos in the room, but we think it is very cute. The same situation also occurred when I stayed in other hotels. The hotel has a shuttle bus to and from Alona many times, which is very convenient.
