Stayed for 3 days and was a bit far from Alona Beach, but fortunately there was a free shuttle bus at the hotel. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities are very new, and the complimentary breakfast is not bad. But the hotel is surrounded by villages, dirty and messy, the road to the hotel turned out to be a dirt road, the tap water and the water in the pool are all unpurified sea water, a bit salty, the whole of the island of Bohol. With a 12-year-old child, there is no extra bed, and 800p per night, which is a bit expensive. Since I go out to play every day, the overall situation is not bad, the environment there is the same. The level of consumption is comparable to that of first-tier cities in China.

Originally booked for 2 nights, room 204 As a result, the water pressure is too low to take a bath. After we responded, we were told that it would be repaired. but no improvement Later decided to change to live The service staff over there said that there was a problem with the water pressure in that room, but the manager has been directing customers and it has not improved. I booked about NT$3,000 for one night It turned out that they only refunded me 6,000 pesos talk to them directly Give me back the price for one night

Family of three stayed at Cliffside Resort for 4 nights in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. Julia the owner and her staff are genuinely very welcoming and made our stay just that little bit more extra special. We had a few meals here and enjoyed all of the meals we had as well as a few drinks by the pool, food arrived quickly and with good service. We stayed in Room 8 by the pool side and found the room to be very clean and have everything that we needed including a fridge good Air conditioner and a nice shower & toilet, there was also a smart TV in our room (don’t think all rooms have the smart TV) however ours did so a bit of night Time Netflix using our own login was useful. Our room had a double and a single bed both with nice clean fresh bedding and a good firm mattress that did not sag. Outside the room you have your own table chairs a place to dry towels, and an umbrella rack. The resort is a bit off the main road via a bumpy road however it’s not a problem as we were either in a Tri cab or a van for a day out ( we took a van to chocolate hills and did some ATV bike adventure while there). If you want to go to Alona Beach a Tri cab at the time of writing was 200 pesos so the three of us could go down to Alona Beach in around 15 minutes, that said after a few days down at Alona Beach it was nice to just enjoy the peace and tranquility of Cliffside and chill out there for a few days. We enjoyed the pool and the view is just outstanding I could just sit and look at it all day, you can see Camiguin Island on a good day when the visibility is good. There are some steps down the Cliffside so if you fancy some snorkeling you can do so at your own risk, we did and enjoyed it although be careful for sea urchins. While we were there we met some expats who are friends with the owner and we really enjoyed our time with them meeting new people is a great part of being on holiday. If you’re looking for independent resort that has a nice tranquil relaxing atmosphere away from the big corporate resorts this place is perfect and we can’t wait to go again.

What a gem in Panglao!! 💎 A family owned boutique hotel that feels like a cozy home stay. Peaceful, artsy, clean and neat, with a very reliable wifi connection. They even serve the Yardstick coffee (for all the coffee lovers out there, this is your place). Although the owners and the staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable (love you all guys ❤️), the best part is the 4 little dogs that just brighten up your day every time you pass by. The pool was also clean and well maintained, and the omelette they serve for breakfast is rich with condiments and tasty! The hotel also rents out their own motorbikes which are all in a really good condition (unlike many of those you rent in random shops or in the street). Oh, and yeah, if you read in reviews that they have really high quality bed mattresses - I am attesting to that. Unless you put your alarm on, you won’t wake up. It’s that good! If you are not a fan of big hotel chains that treat you just like a number, then look no further. Thanks for having us guys and really hope to be back soon!!

Very nice hotel with friendly service minded staff made this a great stay. The accept laundy at laundy prices (not hotel prices 5X higher). And when my white shirts were destryed because they washed it with red towels and came out pink they even managed to get it white again :-) Great breakfast at the pool and great pool!. Room was modern and spacy, good shower. Good aircon. Good beds. No elevator though. Notice: On the map it looks close to beach but you need to walk around the hotel and cross the best western hotel to get to the beach. Not very far but notice it.

We stayed at this beautiful resort last year to celebrate my nephew's 3rd birthday for 2 nights and 3 days. As far as I remember, we availed the discounted rates during Travel Expo in SMX. All of our requests were granted especially the simple birthday set up when we arrived. The room , beddings and CR are great, except for the location of the assigned room/villa everything is perfect. I informed that we have 2 senior citizens prior to booking, we were expecting rooms nearer to the restaturant. But, we really enjoyed our stay especially the buffet breakfast and ”calmly” atmosphere at the resort, the staff are polite and acommodating too. I recommend this place to my firends and give a chance, we will definitely stay again at this resort.

The hotel features two large swimming areas, and we had a great time at the beach-front pool with my daughter. The room felt a bit old, but it didn't affect our stay. Since most of the guests were Korean, it felt like we were at a Korean resort. I would definitely consider visiting again.

Staff can assist guests with luggage storage. Laundry services and sight seeing tour arrangements - car rental. Is possible while airport tranfers and shuttle services can be provided at a surcharge.. Housing Agotata restaurant which serves tadty selections of local and western dishes with different views ambiance. Guests can also OPT - for official diet meals request while room service options are available. The property is just 1km from the famous Alona Beach and 3km from Danao Beach master Cebu International Airport is approximately 87 km away..

Definitely not my favourite hotel - in fact I left after the first night of my 3 night booking & forfeited my payment for the remaining nights. BED... If you like sleeping on a FIRM bed similar to a timber floor, then the bed will suit you fine. If you prefer a more luxurious softer bed then book a different hotel. Even when Housekeeping put 2 comforters between the bed & the sheet, it was still HARD. BATHROOM Again very different to usual Filipino standards. On the bed were 2 face washers & 2 towels (about the size of typical western hand towels), plus in the bathroom was 2 ”Bath Towels” (narrow long flimsy open weave fabric) for exfoliating your body not drying it. Getting dry after the shower was definitely a challenge. BREAKFAST For a westerner, there was no cereal to start the day. The buffet containers for both the fried eggs & the back were empty, so I asked if they could be replenished. The hostess immediately went to the kitchen & promptly returned with a plate of fried eggs & another plate of bacon. I thought YIPPEE, I will have fresh hot breakfast, but I was sadly disappointed as both the eggs & the bacon were cold - obviously left on a bench in the kitens after being cooked sometime earlier. If you want butter to go with your sweet toast, you have to ask for it. Vegemite on sweet toast is a strange taste. Cappucino coffee is NOT included in breakfast. POWER OUTLETS If you have travelled to the Philippines you will know that their power outlets are two flat vertical pins. NOT HERE, they are the Korean recessed circular pins which made charging my devices a challenge. Thankfully reception had Korean/Filipino adapters. POOL It was nice!
