Awesome! Especially the ping-pong room, haha.

The hotel service is exceptional. We would like to thank Miyakoshi-san from the reservation desk for showing lots of patience and help in retrieving our iPad left in the room over messaging system. Miyakoshi-san arranged for the device to be sent to our next hotel and even called the hotel on our behalf to ensure we get our iPad when we arrive. We are so grateful for the help rendered.

Nice hotel but buffet dinner bit expensive. Staff is nice and helpful

This was my second stay at Douyang Pavilion; my first visit was in May last year, and I had a great experience. While the hotel isn't brand new, it's impeccably clean, both inside and out. The open-air onsen is small but exquisitely designed. We didn't book dinner at the hotel, but a yakiniku restaurant nearby was very convenient. The foot bath by the entrance is a unique feature. On a nice day, it's incredibly relaxing to grab a drink, snuggle in a blanket, and enjoy the river view. Sleeping on the tatami mats at night was also very comfortable. The absolute highlight is that you can set off fireworks right outside the hotel. They even sell them, and if you bring your own, you're welcome to use the lighters and buckets provided by the hotel. We only set off sparklers, though, and I'm not sure if larger fireworks are allowed, especially given the extensive grassy areas nearby.

Everything is good except the taste of dinner can be improved for those cold dishes and most dish are not hot which we may not like it

My family with parent-in-law enjoyed this hotel & onsen so much.

My favorite hotel of this trip, truly surpassing Tsuruga. It's a perfectly sized boutique hotel with plenty to explore. Even though I booked the most basic room type, the window view was still quite impressive. The nearby yakiniku restaurants and outdoor activity shops really added to the overall experience.

Good dinner and breakfast buffet! Onsen is also large and spacious for the outdoor portion. Perfect to go there during cool weather in autumn. Also had table tennis table for entertainment. Only thing is that they do not have any private onsen for couples booking at a fee (need to book special rooms with attached onsen if you want a private bath)

the onsen is really good. the hotel is tidy and clean. the room is big. but the view is not as pretty as expected. maybe because the river is dry

We stayed at Toyosu-tei. The private open-air bath offered a unique experience: despite it being winter and quite cold, our bodies remained toasty warm in the water, yet the towel on our heads actually froze – quite an experience! The views were beautiful. There's also an excellent yakiniku restaurant conveniently located nearby with delicious food.
