Very nice and cozy hotel! They offer the free wine at 5-6 pm every day. Staff are friendly and can communicate in English. They rent many facilities for free ie. shoes dryer. Well recommended.

Pro: Great location. 5 minutes walk to the bus stop to go to Niseko and Sapporo. Breakfast is unique with food on 3-tier stray like high tea, the scone is the best I had so far. Cons: Room is really too small and cramp.

A second night in a lovely hotel, this time in a king size premier room with the biggest bed I’ve ever seen! Comfortable layout and great views from the front and side windows. Comfortable and well set up. Will definitely stay here again if revisiting Otaru.

A boutique style heritage building with high end art deco architecture designed hotel. Style, class of its own with high-tea style breakfast. The chef was of top-notch with well-balance crafted menus. The taste was exemplary good. I enjoyed the wine tasting too and love the OTARU dry white wine and OTARU beer. Lightings and ambiance atmosphere and helpful and friendly staff. Walking distance to heritage financial street and OTARU canals.

Location is good, it also offered free wine during 17:00-18:30 for room guests, it’s such a kind arrangement. The bartender also suggested some good restaurants nearby.

Lovely little hotel. Clean, boutique style, nice bar, restaurant. Breakfast was a treat. Staff great and helpful. All round great.

The directions to the parking lot outside the hotel were very thorough. Also, when I checked in, they confirmed the prohibited foods on the breakfast menu so I could eat without worry. I would like to come here with my daughter and her husband next time.

It’s worth living in a historical site and feeling the different Otaru style! Highly recommended for those who like a youthful style and focus on textured design!

It has an antique feel, but it doesn't feel old. Breakfast is extra 2000 yen. It's delicious and you can get more scones. The drinks are the same as the buffet breakfast. The black tea was Lupicia.

You can enjoy free wine at the bar from 17:00 to 18:30. The Niagara wine was sweet and delicious. The wines available change depending on the season, so we enjoyed Niagara, Otaru, and Chilean wines. The breakfast menu is also high quality, featuring local ingredients. Everything was delicious, but the croque monsieur and scones were especially recommended. You can have as many scones as you like. The coffee and tea are also high quality and delicious. The hotel staff are also very friendly. It was a very comfortable hotel, not too formal or too relaxed. The hotel is close to Otaru's main tourist attractions, making it a convenient location for sightseeing.
