Clean and new hotel. Able to survive an earthquake!!! Room was very spacious and toilet was comfortable as had a separate area for shower, sink and wc. Nice view as we were on the 50th floor. Could see all the way to Osaka Aquarium. Staff were friendly. Hotel is well connected (sheltered) to JR and Chou lines which are linked well to all parts of the city. Many convenience stores and bakeries nearby.
Superb location, the only other hotel I want to try in the area would be Park Front, given it is really at park front. Wide dining selections in the adjacent malls. Good customer service, we were greet by the Korean young man (Joohan was his name I think), who speaks very good English and was very helpful to arrange our left luggage to be brought into our room when ready.
Love to come back, if their female onsen can really be restricted to female only... Have seen different mothers of unassociated families, bringing their non-toddlers boys into the ladies onsen... This really makes me felt awkward and really embarrassed.. , especially more these boys keeps looking at females in the lockers, shower, onsen area. Not sure why their mothers didn't noticed or care to tell them off.. Sigh!
The hotel room is spacious and the location is convenient. I especially like the given products in the washroom, like face wash and overnight milk. It would be great if bottles of water were supplied as gifts in the room.

An official Universal Studio hotel located within Universal City. This hotel is right next to the train station but without the noise from the train. The bed is firm and comfortable. It has ice machine and microwave on every floor so it is convenient to buy those ready meal from convenient store for a meal in if you are feeling tired after a whole day out in Universal Studio. There are many restaurants within Universal City as well. The hotel provides free supper with soft serve ice cream, hot dog with curry in the evening. The only item missing is the washing machines and onsen.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They even provided a detailed map with personalized recommendations for places to visit, adding a thoughtful personal touch to our experience.
The hotel is impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, and its location is simply perfect. With the train station less than 100 meters away, getting around the city was incredibly easy and convenient. The surrounding area is vibrant and well-situated, making it an ideal base for exploring. The rooms were spacious and thoughtfully designed, offering breathtaking views—on one side, we enjoyed the serene beauty of the sea and a stunning bridge, while the other side offered a direct view of Universal Studios.
Our kids enjoyed the stay so much that we ended up extending our trip by an extra day just to soak in the experience a little longer. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and the combination of a prime location, exceptional staff, and immaculate facilities made it truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for families and anyone visiting the area!
Best hotel.if you want to.visit the universal studio.japan. its located next to USJ and also universal city station so easy for you to explore osaka. As this hotel.located in universal city walk, you will not go hungry for sure. So many food option
Great experience, although the location is not the closest to the amusement park, the journey actually only takes 10 minutes. There is an advantage to queuing early, ensuring that you get to play in the Mario themed area. In addition, the hotel lobby is beautiful, themed with Minions. There are also snack shops with reasonable prices, and the staff are friendly and courteous. From the room, you can directly see the backstage and a small part of the amusement park, which is a very interesting experience. I will highly recommended and definitely stay at this hotel again next time, and will also recommend it to friends.
Hotel is very clean, in a perfect location with only a few minutes walk to USJ and many restaurants (e g Sushiro, Red Lobster etc) fast food shops (Mc Donald's, Mosburger, Starbucks, ShakeShack etc), convenience store (Lawson) and drug store nearby. Only a few minutes walk to JR train station. Easy to walk from bus stop (airport bus directly to USJ).
advantage:
It only takes 10 minutes to walk to Universal Studios. For example, hotels near Chizuo Book Studios have very different prices, so you can consider them.
Lawson is in quarantine and 7-Eleven is convenient for buying food.
There is a microwave and ice machine, free of charge.
The breakfast is simple, with both Western and Japanese styles, including salad, bread, curry rice, udon, and juice. The taste is okay, and the fried chicken is the best. If there is ice cream, I will have nothing to eat.
shortcoming:
I had to enter the park at 3 o'clock, and I arrived at 2:40, and there was no check-in. The front desk said that I had to wait until 3 o'clock, because it was written on it, so I waited. Later, a Japanese person arrived at 2:55 and asked for check-in😞. It doesn't matter if it's OK or not. Well, everyone who follows him checks in better than me.
There is no water supply in the room, so you have to boil water yourself. However, there is a free ice machine at the front desk. You can only boil water and add ice.
I only take out the trash and don't tidy the room.
Laundry costs 400 yen.
Pajamas are provided, but there is no hot spring. It is not suitable for this hotel at all. There is no wardrobe. Three sets of thick and useless pajamas have to be found by yourself. In fact, it is the same as toothpaste and toothbrushes. You have to go to the front desk to carry them first.
Conclusion: You need to book the Universal Studios Station Hotel in advance. The price is actually not too expensive. If the price of this hotel is acceptable (less than $1500 a night), don’t miss it.
We are a family of three. In my opinion, this was one of our favourite hotels where we had stayed in Japan.
The room we stayed in was big and spacious. I personally love the bathroom as it separates the dry and wet area. The bed was comfy and big to sleep in. One of the things I felt good was that the wooden floor of our room made it easier for us to roll the luggage. We also enjoyed the television as it has a huge variety of shows.
The location of the hotel was the best as it is close to the shopping mall and has a wide variety of food. If you want to go to Universal Studio Japan, Hotel Universal Port Vita would be a great hotel to stay in as it is only less than 10 minutes walk from Universal Studio Japan. The view from the room was fantastic too (see photo). There is even a convenience store at level 1.
To top it off, the hotel receptionists and staff were friendly and polite. They even gave us minions keychains. I strongly recommend this hotel. This was indeed a good hotel to stay in!

GGuest UserWonderful place, spacious and quiet. The host is very kind and helpful. Definitely a good spot in Osaka
GGuest UserThe room is nice and well-equipped, but the air conditioning is a bit outdated.
The hotel does not have a front desk. You have to enter the password to enter the gate, and you have to contact Ctrip to ask for the password. I miss this place, but I probably won't choose it again. 7.18~7.20
JJASON CAPARAS FLORESI had an amazing stay! The lady at the reception was truly exceptional – the best I’ve ever encountered. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made my experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this hotel!
