High CP value for the good location and low price. Has everything I needed.. from the convenience stores. Able to purchase amenities from the counter as well. Friendly counter service. Women storey and men storey differ a lot in terms of quality and availability of services. Sauna from the hotel is only catered to the men. Women storey has doors with wide opening at the top, thus smoke smells travel easily. The bed curtain helps to reduce smell but the wrong and hallways always reek of cigarette despite being a non-smoking building 🤦🏻♀️ I do hope the management enforces this policy strictly.

Good stay, excellent service, and a helpful and pleasant staff. Advice for me personally: -＞ Laundry: Dry Machine, at least spend 2 hours to dry all the clothing, which is quite disappointing (If possible, consider increasing the number of washing machines and dry machines). Great service and experience.

Due to the influence of the coronavirus, there were only 2 people in a 6-person room for women and a total of 4 people on the female floor. I was able to quietly look back at myself. Breakfast was very satisfying and coffee was replaced. The next morning we visited Samhara at the power spot. It was less than 15 minutes walk from the hostel.

The room is very good, with a separate cabinet, and the location is convenient, located on Shinsaibashi Street. The hotel lady is very nice, warm and cute, and will help you check in quickly, and the front desk can store luggage

It is a hostel in Honmachi, Osaka. It is relatively close to downtown, but I think it is a quiet and very good environment at night because it is an office town. Stayed in the dormitory, but there was a curtain in the bed and it was no problem because it became a private space. I would like to use it again.

Love the place because it’s very near to the station and the Glico sign in Dotonbori. This place is very accessible to other places in Osaka and it’s super cheap. This hostel don’t offer water, toothpaste and toothbrush so don’t forget to bring if you stay at this hostel.

Me and my two friends arrived here and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. We were too early for check in but they kindly let us leave our luggage in a safe place while we go out and explore the city! When we came back we were given our keys and free towels. The room we are staying in is very clean and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are very clean. Really nice foot bath outside that you can enjoy after walking round all day. The hostel has a traditional Japanese style which is a lovely touch! Would recommend to stay here.

This hotel is very close to JR Namba Station and can be reached within five minutes from the station. It only takes ten minutes to walk to Dotonbori on the other side. I highly recommend the travel options for hostels.

It was convenient to move around as it was located a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. The building was very large and there was a public bathhouse, so I could relax in the evening after a long walk. I was able to rest comfortably. The staff were friendly and you could leave your luggage, so the location was very convenient and great. The room condition is clean and good, and although the height is low, it is spacious enough to sleep alone, so it is recommended for those traveling alone. However, the soundproofing is not good so please bring earplugs. (This is a chronic problem with capsule hotels, so I don’t think it’s a disadvantage.) Except for soundproofing, I am willing to visit again because the location, service, facilities, and cleanliness are all satisfactory for the price.

We stayed at Hotel Taiyo, I do see a lot of people posting positive reviews for Hotel Toyo here, that is a diffrent hotel and definitely not this one. The hotel is outdated, run down and in desperate need of renovation. The tile are old, worn and look like they have never been properly cleaned or waxed. The furniture is shabby and uncomfortable the bed springs where so prominent it left my hips and ankles aching. Our first night we went out and bought ourselves pillows as the ones here are unusable. There was also only one plug in the room so we had to spend even more for a power bar. The whole place was filthy with dirt and dust visible in every corner. The towels were dirty, and the bathroom was again unclean and permanently smelled of piss our whole stay. The amount of dust in the vents were slightly alarming from a safety standpoint. We also had major issues with internet 90% of the time. If you need internet for work you are SOL. The staff was professional and friendly, and the overall customer service was the only redeeming quality The location was great close the the main line station and the JR line. Overall, the hotel fell way below expectations and was a terrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone
