Shin Osaka Washington Hotel Plaza Reviews

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The hotel is just 5-6 mins from Shin Osaka station, so convenient to travel. There is a limousine bus service going to the Itami airport. It's an old hotel, but they have updated to make available modern amenities. The staff is courteous. The room was clean with a good view from the 22nd floor. Due to the odd layout of the room the entry passage and closet was very narrow. So there was very little space to store the luggage and to even open it. The hotel provided only one luggage stand. They couldn't provide a second one when asked. If the room is booked for two people and considering the narrow layout, the hotel must provide two luggage stands. Also there should be more charging points or an extension board should be made available. The breakfast is japanese and there is a decent variety of items.

Hotel is in a good location, 5 min walk to Shin-Osaka central station. The hotel is huge, has many rooms and checkin time is 2pm and checkout is 10am, I found a long line to do both. The rooms are ok in size, a bit old furniture but very comfortable.

It was a very nice and clean hotel. Staff are very accommodating and respectful as well. Just a walking distance from the shin osaka station which makes it convenient if you’re coming from Tokyo via Shinkansen.

The hotel near by Shin Osaka station and easy to connect trains.

Everything was really good about the place, including service, the food, and the clean environment. It was also very convenient as the hotel was close to Shin-Osaka station. The staff were very kind and polite. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a trip in the Kansai area.

We booked two rooms in the hotel which is located in a good location near the Shin Osaka Station with good sized bedrooms but was not told that the aircon system is not functioning during this period as the rest of the hotel that we booked are with aircon or heater during winter.

Very comfortable room with a great view. The only issue, but unavoidable, was how much you could hear the neighbors and the motorcyclist at 12 am. Very near shin osaka station.

My second time staying here. Comfortable bed. Very close to the main train station and in an area where lots of places to eat and drink can be found. Staff were pleasant to deal with as usual

Dry nice location.  Just a 5 minute walk from the Shin Osaka JR station.  Just exit the Central Gate in the ground floor turn right and just past the number 4 turn left and take the crosswalk .  Go straight ahead to the street.  Make a right turn under the train tracks and go left at the crosswalk.  Make aright and the Hotel is on the left at the next corner.  Wonderful breakfast.  Nice rooms.  Great hot water in both the shower and basin.  We bought sashimi at the train station and bought it back to the room.  They have ice and drink machines on the 14th and 20th floors.  We took the subway from the station into M20 (mamba area) for shopping and lunch.

Bery well located and convenient hotel. This hotel is located less than 10 minutes walk south of Shin Osaka station. There is also Minamikata Hankyu rail station at about 10 minutes walk south of this hotel. There are 4 washing machinese and 2 drying machines on ground floor near Receptionist. Next to washing room is a door to a convenient store. The AC is centralized but windows can be opened. Although near train station the room is well insulated.

The hotel is in walkable distance to shin-osaka train station. room space is adequate. The breakfast was good with many varieties, with dinner also. Overall a peaceful stay

Great value if you need to live near Shin Osaka Station (JR, Shinkansen, Osaka Metro), since it is only a short walk from the station. The room is perfectly fine for one person, the toilet is a bit small but usable. The rooms are above 12/F, so you can get a nice view of Osaka. There is a convenience store below the hotel, but not many restaurants nearby. You either have to go to Shin Osaka Station, or walk south towards Minamikata Station for restaurants. One downside is that the hotel is close to metro tracks. Even at 18/F, I still can hear the metro trains running by. It is not loud but still noticeable. You may want earplugs if you cannot stand the noise.
