The room is average, but it has Tongan characteristics, but it is quite old and expensive. It includes meals, but the boss and employees are not clear and made a mistake with the free breakfast. Before I ordered, I confirmed again whether it was included in our room, but I was asked to pay for it. Tonga is a bit outrageous

Better than expected, good service. Continental breakfast is available, but you can add whatever you want for extra money. The balcony view is first-rate. It is recommended to rent a balcony room.

The hotel faces the sea across a road. There is a more upscale restaurant below. There are not many rooms on the second floor, and the rooms are clean. It would be better if you choose a sea view room, you can watch the first ray of sunshine in the world when you get up early, it is worth it.

Come to Tonga Island and book here! It is the fastest to sell out for a reason! The name of the store is as it says, Seaview is right by the sea The hygiene conditions are much better than other stores, and the staff are very enthusiastic

The overall service is OK, but there is a distance from the place to eat. There is no lunch in the hotel, and there is only toast for breakfast

This was a winter visit and Tonga is perfect at that time of year. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and clean. The food is fantastic! Best in Tonga. Great, responsive staff. Noisy on Friday and Saturday nights till midnight due to the night club across the road. Thanks Liz and staff for the great stay

The Seaview Lodge is located a 10-minute walk from town. It's a lovely older building with colonial style furniture and has a nice ocean view. There is a terrace where you can sit and have a drink in the afternoon. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff, especially the waiters, are very friendly and helpful. But there are also a few things that, if we knew before, would have made us reconsider our stay here. The restaurant/ bar is closed a couple of nights during the week. Which we were not aware of when arriving late. It was hard to get some food and drinks elsewhere at that time. The breakfast was a la carte but fine. After breakfast, until the mid afternoon, it was not possible to get anything to eat or drink. Despite staff was doing work at the bar. And there were no cushions on the seats on the terrace to be able to sit comfortably on the terrace. For people who are out all day, that might be fine and no issu. For us as tourists that were not out all day, we missed the chance to relax and have a drink during the day. We had to go to town to have some drinks. For people that would love to take a swim in the sea or pool, please be advised that although the Lodge is located near the sea, you can't swim there and there is no pool.

Great place to stay close to town and ferry transport, friendly efficient service with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were super helpful when trying to catch the sometimes elusive ferry to Eua.

We stayed here for several days. I have family that live nearby and this provided the opportunity to be close to them but also to do our own thing. It is quiet here and I did not even hear the early morning church bells on a Sunday. Very handy to the main street. The food was good. I was a little surprised that there was no Tongan food on the menu such as Otai, 'Ota Ika or even a fresh coconut. The staff are very pleasant and T was particularly helpful. Rooms were spotless. Aircon and fans work.

We love coming for the lobster bisque (with bread) and T, the server. For a few moment, I felt like I was in the United States. T makes the restaurant! The other dishes were ok, not their fault. The ingredients on the island are subpar. T is a great guy…..we love talking to him. Though Tongan, he’s from the states and truly under hospitality.

Pretty little hotel on the beachfront at Nuka'alofa. The deluxe rooms at the front have lovely views over the water. The standard room we had at the back of the hotel had no view, but then we didn't pay the big bucks. We also had noise early in the morning from the staff coming in through the back door. I was surprised at the high ratings this hotel receives though that is probably due to a severe shortage of accommodation in Nuka'alofa. The 2 issues I had with this accommodation are; Our room had possibly the firmest mattress ever made. I asked if we could get moved to another room but was told that all the mattresses came from the same supplier. The other complaint I have is about the included Continental breakfast which can only be described as stingy. It consisted of one piece of toast, either a cup of tea, coffee or orange juice which was in fact orange cordial. We ordered off the menu to supplement our Continental breakfast and my eggs Florentine of poached eggs on wet spinach placed on a slice of soggy untoasted white bread was not edible. We didn't eat breakfast there again! There were some good points; The lobster cream soup we had on our first night was absolutely delicious and we were given some complimentary bread and dip. Friends in a front balcony room loved the view and a slightly more comfortable bed. The staff were all incredibly pleasant and obliging. Great location a short walk from the centre of town.

Wonderful accomodation and restaurant with a staff that lived up to the name ‘friendly islanders’. The view , when you wake up in the morning , is paradisial. The area is very quiet and safe all around and the walkway along the waterfront is nicely done . Well worth a visit!
