Hotels in Nice City Center, Nice

It’s a decent stay! Amenities one would expect and helpful staff. It’s loud when someone passes by the corridor or opens/closes the room. No soundproofing and sometimes the noise from the streets would be too much.

The hotel is located near Place Masséna, a very lively area. There are many restaurants, cafes, and bookstores nearby. It's also close to the sea, perfect for walks and sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious, and the service was friendly and prompt. Unfortunately, the streets were extremely noisy on the second night, making it almost impossible to sleep from midnight until dawn. Of course, this is beyond the hotel's control. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Louise is a very helpful woman if you have any issues or questions about where to buy things or the good restaurants to eat in, ask Louise. She is the sunshine of the place. Its a decent price for the location you are near promenade des anglais, place Garibaldi and vielle ville. The elevator is a bit quaint. And I do wish the bathtub was newer but all in all for the price and location plus excellent services. Im pretty happy.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable. Location is perfect - right in the city center. It was easy to get to anywhere by walking. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay!

The breakfast was very disappointing. The tomatoes were completely bland. An omelet, bacon, or sausages would have greatly improved it. We only had a large bath towel and a bath mat; there was no hand or face towel provided. Shockingly, we even found a hair amongst the 'clean' towels! Our room was not cleaned at all during our 5-night stay. They didn't even supply a basic plastic cup for toothbrushes. They charge 5 euros to store luggage for just a few hours. This isn't about saving costs; it's pure greed and truly reflects poorly on the hotel.

The hotel's location is excellent... just a 10-minute walk from the train station... and about 5 minutes from Galeries Lafayette and the beach. There are many dessert shops nearby, but the Chinese restaurant next door was terrible – definitely avoid it.

The hostel was clean and neat, and the room size was quite good. However, my experience with the night female staff member was very disappointing. She was quite rude and clearly needs to improve her customer service skills. It also seemed like her English was limited, which made communication difficult. She did not provide any basic information about the hostel. I had to ask everything myself—whether there was a kitchen, gym facilities, room directions, and even which floor my room was on. This was honestly very strange and not what you expect when checking in. She also did not give any information about nearby attractions or places to visit. On the positive side, the morning staff member was much more helpful and guided me about buses and trains, which I appreciated. I would like to request hostel management to pay attention to staff training. Hostels and hotels are important tourist points, and guests spend their hard-earned money to have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Staff behavior and guidance play a big role in that.

Pros: Location (4/5): Conveniently located with a balcony offering a standard street-view. Cons & Dealbreakers: Inflexible Service (2/5): The in-room amenities provided were extremely insufficient. For a 4-day (3-night) stay with double occupancy, only 2 packets of instant coffee were provided. My request for an additional 2 packets at the front desk was explicitly denied, resulting in a poor customer service experience. Hygienic and Pest Issues (3/5): There was noticeable insect activity in the room. During my 3-day stay, I found and killed a total of 5 mosquitoes and 2 ants in the room, indicating that basic pest control and cleanliness standards were not met. Ineffective Facilities (3/5): The in-room dishwasher was practically useless, failing to clean dishes at all. After running a full cycle, the dishwasher tablet was only half dissolved, suggesting a logical flaw in the equipment, such as insufficient water temperature or a faulty water circulation system.

I stayed wonderful two nights there. A room with balcony is spacious enough for two people. I would say the most extraordinary things about this hotel are the staff.  Every staff member is very helpful and friendly.  The first day I was offered early check in，and a lot of useful information about bus and train info，printing out the schedules finding the maps… The last day it was raining and hotel staff offered me umbrella，tell me I can rest in the lobby and use the restroom etc.  I enjoyed my stay and surely recommend it to everyone！

A reliable choice in Nice, the Holiday Inn delivers on excellent service and comfort. The staff are frequently highlighted as friendly and accommodating, enhancing the overall guest experience. While its rooms are functional and clean, the real draw is the prime position near key places of interests, making all of Nice's key attractions—from shopping to the sea—effortlessly walkable.
