Close to a Tram Station and will take 20-30mins to the airport. It is far to the city center roughly about an hour. But it is the cheapest I could find for a decent solo room in Nice. Other Hotels are just too expensive. If you are on a budget, this is okay as you will take Trams to go anywhere anyway. It is also a good base if you’re planning to go to Cannes and Monaco fo a day trip. Room is small but with a queen sized bed. If you have large suitcase, you will have a hard time opening it as you cannot fully open your luggage. Breakfast costs €10.50. Basic food selection.

Quasi-4-star hotel, although in the suburbs of Nice, but the surrounding quiet 🤫 There is also a bus stop at the door to take a taxi to the city center. In short, the price is very high and it is a good choice.

The room is large, fully functional, has a refrigerator and TV, and is very clean. The location of the hotel is very good, there are many places to eat around! Very satisfied, very close to the beach, the boss is very nice

It's a good location, just a few minutes walk from the tram station from the airport, and just a few minutes from the beach. Check-in is at 3pm, but we arrived before 12pm and were allowed to check in right away.
Because of this, the amenities weren't ready, but we called and they were ready right away. Even when we offered to give a tip to the staff, they didn't smile and didn't accept it, and were very friendly.
There are many restaurants and a supermarket near the hotel, so we could buy desserts after meals and alcohol we didn't have enough to drink. There was also a terrace with a nice view of the square in front of the sea.
The breakfast was filling and very delicious.

The hotel is well selected, the location is excellent, just across the street is the beach, three minutes walk is Massena Square, downstairs turn right is the restaurant gathering area, the hotel turns towards the beach and there is a McDonald's, the neighborhood is generally safe, there is also a small Asian convenience store downstairs next to the hotel, you can buy mineral water, fruit, instant noodles, etc., you don't have to worry about food and drink.
The disadvantages are also quite obvious, that is, the hotel is relatively old, and you may not have too high expectations for the hygiene and facilities inside. I booked the cheapest interior room, the room is a little small, and the design of the TV wall in the middle cuts the space a bit, and there is no place to put the big suitcase after spreading it out.
Location is king, if you don't have high requirements for the room hardware (and the price is right), this Mercure is still very good

Pros:
Beautiful room with a wonderful view of the sea.
Staff were lovely and accommodating.
Breakfast was excellent.
Location was flawless.
Cons:
The breakfast was amazing, but the options were the same every day without any changes.
Gym was almost non-existent.
The dinner options were heavily mushroom/truffle focused which made it difficult for me who suffers with allergies to them.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff are exceptional, especially Saloua who was all smiling, warm, very kind and friendly. However the experience would have been perfect if the bed mattress was updated as we struggled all night and woke up with sore back. The gentleman at the front desk on duty at 2am (8 April) offered solutions which is appreciated. Will definitely recommend and go back, hopefully then the bad mattresses are replaced!

The location is very good in a very central area, the rooms are small but the facilities are well equipped to cook for yourself, and there is an internet celebrity food street nearby.
Disadvantages: 1. It’s very tired to go upstairs with luggage. 2. There is no bottled water provided. You need to go out and buy it yourself. If you don’t mind drinking tap water, please ignore. 3. Order to pay at the store. When you check out, you swipe your credit card and then Ctrip said that my no show had deducted my security deposit, and it was wrong to ask Ctrip to verify it before returning it to me. There is a bnb recommended by lp on the first floor of the same address. The facade looks better than this one. There is a camera at the door. Friends in need can search by themselves.
